- AARP keeps sending me mail. Retired? I just barely STARTED my life! Geez, I'm just getting to speed. This is weird. No way. Ok so I turn 63 in a few months, so what. I'm not even mature enough to be an adult, let alone a senior or retirement age. This isn't about anti-aging, it's about the years going by so fast, I haven't even had time to finish being a teenager. I don't even know if I totally entered puberty yet! What a strange bizarre experience time is with all the years going by on the calendar, it's like a weird dream. Raw vegan diet is not the only factor here. Raw vegan or vegan or plant based or WFPB or carnivore or keto or fruitarian, it's a lot more than that.

The started sending me ARP invites when I was in my 50s. GEESH. I live in a 55+ senior community. OMG. They have a shuffle board, play polish bingo, etc.. OH, THE HORROR. I'm 60, very active and I just avoid doing old people stuff in the community where I live and focus on my photography and writing music for my UA-cam channel. Don't worry Markus. You don't look like an old person and neither do I. Keep up the good work!
I specifically try to get on "young people subscriptions", like fitness magazines, travel podcasts, and anything that keeps me young (and on the right mailing lists).

I get these too and I quickly throw them away. The only senior discounts I want is for healthy organic food and top quality nutritional supplements which can be expensive. But we will never get those because they want us to be dependent on a medical industry that is profit based.

Welcome to our "club". I'm 81 now, so I've been getting these fliers for over 20 years. However, AARP turns out to be a great company for Prescription Insurance through Medicare, I'm paying less that $4 for my Advair (published as $500+ per 60-puff disc (=1 month for me)...And also a great company for Health Insurance for Medicare Gap Insurance! I don't know what I'd do without AARP right now. But if they saw you, they'd probably send you an apology letter, you do not look anywhere CLOSE to Sr. Citizen age! BTW, I love all of your videos, from all your channels, Thank you!

Hi, I am 65 but people always tell me I look so much younger. I get these too, all the time and also regarding chair lifts, retirement homes?? etc 🤣 it’s almost insulting!! But they seem to start sending this stuff out from around 55 in UK. Mum lived until 98 so I am not planning on retiring any time soon 😊

AARP is no longer just for people our age, it's actually for 18 yrs and older. At our optometry clinic we take it as insurance discount for glasses 30pecent off first pair 40 percent off second pair, not bad for $12.00 year membership.
But absolutely useless and a waste of 12$ if you're healthy as I'm sure you know 🎉

Yeah! Frickin ridiculous! WTF is their "retirement" BS? Another thought: just another corporation trying to get money, and the age trips a demographic action. The premise of their business being to give service, help "seniors" with lower prices and advantage for many years being still here, not realizing the immediate reaction to their intrusion of reminding whoever receives it of their years, is an affront, inciting a reaction of insult against the greater living expansion of many. They need a new name and corporate image to thrive.

Yep, Unfortunantly as soon as you hit a certain age, you are placed in a specific catagory. To me it is annoying so more of us need to lead by example and set the new standards.

Apparently they treat it with ultraviolet light and ozone therapy or something to disinfect it but sometimes I wonder if they do other things to it as well. Just wondering if you have any thoughts😊
They don't add anything, its just natural spring water. Not sure if they use ozone, but if they do, its the best thing possible to neutralize anything.

There is nothing wrong with getting old . Everybody starts life with a fully charged battery and it slowly drains over time . There is no way to recharge so just keep going till you stop .

Your video is really funny and cracked me up, but I think that you and those who commented below (I only read 10 or so) are making assumptions about what AARP really is. They are a non profit advocacy group, which addresses and educates on all aspects of getting older and living life well, or at least as best as you can. Those newspaper type publications provide valuable information and resources to anyone over 50, retired or not. This could involve health/fitness and healthcare, financial, housing, social, mental health, products, computer/technical info and and even information about starting a business or getting or continuing an education for work, etc. Heck, you could probably write articles for them! Maybe you don't need it now, but perhaps you are blessed to still have your parents, aunts, uncles, neighbors or community members that can use that information. I will be 70 this year and only started reading the publications my friends have been giving me, for the last few years. I think that if you ever come across a publication and page through it, your opinion might change. In the meantime, you can request that those annoying advertisements be stopped.🙂
