I would like to see the actual developers of this project get the credit they deserve. Working a little with the soldering iron and the glue gun somehow gives the impression that you have developed the part. But the development of the software in particular would overwhelm 95% of UA-camrs who post such videos here. A little honesty wouldn't be out of place. How would you like it if I passed off your work as mine?
9v is better than anything else. Portable. Battery will last longer. Can go to 7.5v and still work. Great work. Dont let anyone complain. They can make their own videos 👍
I made the project with CRODUINO basic 3 percent I'm from Croatia but the display results were not very accurate from the elements so instead of C1 capacitor located on GND I AREF I put a RESISTOR of 2.2 k and the results of electrical elements were much more accurate. If someone has the same problem, try a resistor.
All these "tester" uploads are simply one copying the other, misinformation and all. Nobody stops to look at the original design by Karl Heinz. (Genius piece of work) The original design documentation clearly reads that the AREF cap has an influence on some calculation TIMINGS, but not critical. The original design suggest 1nF , but can be more. It has nothing to do with "capacitor" accuracy readings. From the original documentation; "The 100 nF capacitor on pin 21 (AREF) can either be removed completely or better replaced with a 1 nF capacitor." So in the end you are not wrong....

MEH, you need to add component costs ! How much was the plastic box ? How much was the on/off switch? etc etc. You will find the 'Project' will quickly add up to a great deal more than it would cost to just buy a component tester when the opposite should be the case. Too many scalpers out there reselling and making self builds more expensive than buying direct from manufacturer.
Why?! Why you voltage up 9 volt? Arduino will drop it to 5 volts! You just use energy to heat up the voltage regulator on the arduino and faster discharge accumulator. You can set boost converter to 5 volt and connect to VCC on arduino for energy saving. Why you group pins by 2, 2 and 2? You need correct component connectors for using it! You can use groups like 2, 1 and 3 and you make using this device easier! Or for better I recomend use zif socket for connection, and maybe, add banana socket for using another probe. I beleve, this project can be better!

Very cool project.
I think it's time to sharpen up those drill bits though. 😁

Nice job. Add some 18650's and a TP-4056 and your set.👍
Very good project 👍

thank's...I need it. I will made it...Thank's you very much
bro please tell us what are needed library for this code. we get a lot of error
Hi, awesome project. I bought all the parts but cannot access your website for code and diagram. Can you help please?
If i use Arduino nano atmega 168p it will work?

What's the difference between putting a resistor or a capacitor ? How they work in this situation

Hi i cant find the wiring diagram nowhere can someone help me please it for a school project for my daughter :)
Wire from resistor should as short as possible because they will give extra resistance cap and inductance
Hello, excuse me, but I have foud the code, but not the diagram ... Can you send me one please ? Thanks you for your Idea !
This code compatible for arduino uno ? Or need to any changes..?
can you please send me the code?
no worries same code will work
Keep going, I love you 😍😍
Use front graphic stiker with lamination.
It's awesome project
Hi Bro, Can you send ckt diagram for this, code is there but no ckt.
What are the resistors size ?
3.7 volts high to 9 volts and then with losses to 5 volts.
Why not unsolder the linear regulator and use 5 volts straight away?
What is the measurable value of the maximal component
9:30......which was that blue pcb?
arduino nano
Bro nice
Why the 470k 680 resistor combination
wow!! very nice tutorial
Whats accuracy?
Perfect , goodluck.
Love the tip of how to get a good looking cutout for the display I will certainly by using that technique!
Just FYI: breathing fumes from burning plastic is a bad idea. ;)
Where can I find the schematic diagram???
