I suggest placing all resistors with the same orientation. Obviously makes no difference BUT it looks better and more professional. 🙂
No No.. IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE
it shows professionalism and attention to detail which then translates to other positive things later in your career. it makes a big difference
Well Done... Many Congratulations Dear
This is a great project! I do have a component tester that works on 9 volts, but USB is my preferred power source. I will definitaly order the pcb and build one. Thanks :)
*Excellent work* 👍👍👍
Haven't tried but looks great. Powering by USB is a significant advantage. One I have uses 9V, and inconvenient sometimes. One minor typo on PCB under Logo. Has to be 'Creative' not 'Creatve'.
Some suggestions for future.. Since analog pins of A4-A7 are available and utilizing LCD even more, and there is room on PCB, I would recommend to utilize those analog pins by connecting to LDR to read light/voltage value, temparature reader etc., Keep up with good work. Thanks,.
I made a project like this months ago and it still works fine.
Awesome project
This is great . You should make a complete kit for sale.
Very nice 🎉
Great👌
Super video bro 🎉🎉🎉
I have ordered JLC pcb and parts, thank you for your video.
super sir
mantab sir
Thanks sir good video 💯
Like Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Very good tester
Good information sir.
Cool❤
Neat!
Awesome superb
Thanks for education
Very beautiful project.
Did it shows the exact value of Inductior?
Please 🙏 if you do any project try and explain why and the need for a components to be in the circuit.
Thanks
what is the accuracy of this tester, thank you.
Great 👍👍👍 Bhai
A great project. Looks far better than most Chinese products 👍
It's not, it's the same
Muchas gracias, muy interesante. Voy a montar tu proyecto, he pedido en jlpcb las placas. Saludos
👌👍
Hi. Can this device measure nanohenry?
I shown error on lcd "Cell!" When we test any components or even no components used .
can it measure capacitance less than 100 pf and resistance less than 10 ohm ?
❤❤❤❤❤
Hello sir can read uH,mH indicator value .. s ?
❤
Which c-code are used ?
The project looks great, I only have one question, is there an instruction for the 14-PIN HEADER?
Is polarity important, e.g. diode, transistor... you can put +- or -+, into which holes to insert different components for the test?
The device recognizes the component and also its connections/polarity itself.
Can the screen be replaced with a 12864 LCD display ?
Attention au 220v qui se promène partout dans ce montage qui n'est pas sécurisé ! Dés la mise en tension ne toucher en aucun cas les composants électroniques.
Brother my circuit is not working properly... Lcd display not showing any character just showing line of boxes..
What software do this guy use?
Could you please explain the working of the device, sir ?
Also, the design equations and how you arrived at 680 ohms and 470 kiloohms, please ?
cleaver
It does not work correctly accurately, with no component it reads 48.42 uF at pins 2-3 after a few presses it reads 32pF pins 2-3. Resistors seem fairly accurate. Capacitors read 2.5 times real value. Transistor seems OK. Can you offer any help on capacitors calibration, thanks.
can we buy components for projects
please reply
As Johnfuller1588 suggested, comment #define PULLUP_DISABLE. This line makes the firmware to halt right at the start as there is no pull up circuit in your hardware. Update your video please.
😮😮😮😮
Can buy this from u?
Like others commenting, mine is stuck at "Component Tester Press Enter..." and does not appear to recognize the switch being pushed.
I want to purchase it from you
Sir I want to purchase this device how i can please reply me thank you
nice video but if we get these pcbs outside india from jlpcb , do customs add tax to the parcel?
Just check the import tax laws in India.
How much?
Sir This product purchase link share with cost
Hi , I am from India. Can you provide PDF file of PCB Print ? So I can take a print and make my own PCB, as I only need one PCB for personal use.
Please provide the layout
thanks for share. can we use clone ardunio nano for this project?
Yes, you can use, mine is also clone Arduino nano too😄
Any idea It is stuck at "Component Tester Press Enter..." Does not accept Push button interrupt. I have checked the circuit many times. Everything is connected perfectly. No change in source sketch code but still is in halt state. Flash was done thrice no errors.
Need to comment (//) #define PULLUP_DISABLE as there are no outboard pullup resistors in given ckt
@@johnfuller1588Thanks Dear. I'll try that and let you know.
@@johnfuller1588Thanks Dear. It worked. I commented the same line. Working fine now. Stay blessed.
The code will not upload I get error - attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0xd9 - I try to see if worked trying other board Nano every got Compilation error: 'ADCSRA' was not declared in this scope. I then found out you have to use the OLD BOOTLOADER
Please provide hex codes .
I noticed you did not credit anyone for the original design and code.
Good project, can you share the PCB file. Thanks in advance
He already did, it's in the description
@@martinkuliza Thanks, I got that.
Unable to find your project on the circuit board site. Is there a project number?
How to start a solar system repairing
This is just a clickbaiting... Just kidding, the project site is the second one drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-MUiSj_x6LN5h60_3hscylSUNh-qZN23
Nice work. But I need help finding your code. That and you can buy an already-built unit for way less than the price of an Arduino these days.
Look for a file.ino, that should be the arduino code.
Please mention which pin for what components in that 14pin header 😢
it's stated on the board
1 2 3 1 2 3 2
2 2 1 1 2 3 3
Have you never seen this before ?
- All the 1's are shorted to each other
- All the 2's are shorted to each other
- All the 3's are shorted to each other
so... You need to decide which component you have ,
You can test a component with up to 3 Legs
1 Leg will go in 1, the other in 2 the last in 3 THE ORDER DOESN'T MATTER , the Dev board works it out
if its a 2 pin component, use any pin 1 and any pin 2
and.. You can use Pin 2 and Pin 3 as well
it doesn't matter, Just don't 1 leg in 1 and the other leg in the same number
What about accuracy
What about it ? it's a simple component tester, it's not going to be highly accurate, this is more of a component identifier really .
it's not Highly accurate, it's only roughly accurate
One piece kitne ka hai
Great project! Is it possible to test zenner diodes?
Yes of course you can check zener and other diodes, it will show you the max forward voltage
@@CreativeTechos Which means it will not test a Zener diode.
Will the parts to this be much cheaper than actually buying a tester?
No
No it will be 10x more to make it yourself
Hi.
Can you send me the gerber file of the PCB so I can directly upload it on the JLCPCB
You can download the Gerber files, link is in video description
@@CreativeTechos But when I tried to upload the file it said "Incorrect format. Please upload file in rar or zip format and use English filenames."
I want complete unit with programming please send me price
You can email me, i will provide you

Where can I get a list and source of components ? Thanks in advance
it was at the start of the video
Bhai ye kitne me doge
How to order to you complete set?
You can email me
What is working principle of this project?
it's that it tests and identifies components
Your arduino sketch is full of errors
Please, explain all the details, so I can avoid them.
@@mackunaima All connections are correct. The sketch was flashed without any syntax error. However there are logical errors and commented lines which keep the initial screen message in endless loop and Enter button does not do anything and Press Enter key message remains on the screen. It seems as if sketch is for old version of Nano and hardware used is latest Nano v3. Even pinouts are different as defined in the code and connected on the circuit.
When checking mosfet pins seems wrong. 1 must be G not S.
VERY US FULL VIDEO WHERE I BUY I ALL COMPONENT PL TELL ME IF U SEND ME PL TELL ME

Excellent job. Impressive sketch. I couldn't creat it, hope to learn from it. Thank you.
I built it up on a BB with components at hand before ordering PCBs. (Which I did).
- Needed to comment (//) #define PULLUP_DISABLE as there are no outboard pullup resistors in given ckt
- Took me a few to figure out my display(s) needed a different ii2 address (0x3F). 0x27 as defined worked on my 4 line LCD, all my several 2 line units are 0x3..
- All functions work as demo'd, but electrolytic cap readings are high, even when discharged prior to test. Need to figure that out.
I cant open arduino code why

Has anyone actually tried to make this? The code does not match the hardware.
what about smd components?
What about then ?
Alter the gerber file and include a few pads on the board to accomodate SMD's and connect them to the existing connector ......... Not that big of a deal is it ?
@@martinkulizagood idea, yes we can do that
@@Claws54
of course you can...
The problem here is a lot of these people DO NOT THINK FOR THEMSELVES
80% Of the comments are to the effect of
1. Where are the files LOL
2. is this accurate
or
3. What about (this)
without actually explaining what they are talking about
1 guy asked how do you open an arduino file
LOL
Now.. this SMD guy...
Well.... If you know about SMD's then you should have enough electronics knowledge to know that if you parallel up the connections you want.. it's gonna work.
He could have even, NOT MODIFIED THE BOARD but instead created a board for himself in KiCAD that acts as a convertor board
one side SMD the other side your pin header connection
I go through the comments and i seriously do not see 1 Intelligent question
Then i think about you
and i think..... You need to read this shit
YOU POOR BASTARD LOL
Hindi me bolo
Compilation error: text section exceeds available space in board
