I applied for retail but on my first day (yesterday) my manager threw me at production and it’s not bad but I don’t belong in the back! My strength is customer service and I love interacting with customers, making drinks, drive through, etc.
i work at krispy kreme currently and have experienced basically everything you said, the position that i signed up for was a donut decorator/maker but when i actually got there i ended up being thrown in retail (which i am not happy about at all) the customers and management are rude and the whole company is just all around weird. needless to say i will definitely be quitting soon😁
I was let go today from Krispy Kreme and was a doughnut decorator ( processor) for poor quality products with the chocolate doughnuts but the thing is I was never properly trained the year and a half I was employed with the company in accordance with the Krispy Kreme Standards. I addressed all my concerns in the meeting with the GM and everything. After I addressed my concerns the GM said that she would contact HR and explain that I never properly was trained hands on or retrained after the first write up with the chocolate doughnut and them not up to Krispy Kreme Standards. After she got off the phone she unfortunately had to continue to let me go. My shift was 1st shift 3am-11am. Btw I am in America.
I worked at Krispy Kreme and today was my final day. I survived 14 months but my manager was absolutely awful. I have BPD and she harassed me on daily basis, one rule for me but another rule for her. I confined in her about my BPD, her first response was “that’s why you’re so difficult to manage” which at first I didn’t really click on but once I told my boyfriend, he made me realise that’s quite rude. I want to write a big complaint to HR but I’m a bit scared, she’s close to the manager above her so I feel pointless but there’s so much to say!
I’m so sorry you had this experience! I hope you can gather the courage to write a complaint, it might save someone else from having the same experience as you! No one should be harassed at work, and people’s mental health should always be respected. Well done for leaving, hope things get better for you now!
Omg im at krispy kreme right now and i came in in the morning and i told my manager Goodmorning and she dead flat told me i dont want to here any of that make the glaze… i was so mad and all she knows how to the all day is argue on the phone it’s embarrassing the worst part is she acts racist to hispanics including me
Hello!! I'm really worried because I have my interview with Krispy Kreme later!! I'm not sure if this would be the right job for me. Would you recommend it? I watched your entire video and it was really entertaining!!
@@ToneBreistrand The store I'm going to interview at is a really small one! No seats/dine in, just a small storefront in a shopping mall with no drive thru as well. But it is right at a bus interchange, so still gonna be busy! Hopefully it's manageable!! Thank you so much I will give it a shot, your video helped a lot
Whenever people wanna write a complaint about me, I’m like “yeah, go ahead”. But my confidence comes from me knowing I do my job right 😛 Also, if you’re Amy Santiago, do you like stationery? :P
Hi! I really loved your video and was wondering do they provide you with the work shirt? Or do I have to bring my own 😅. I go in tomorrow for orientation

I don’t think they’re bad as a company, just the store I worked at was poorly organised. I’d give it a shot if I were you! Good luck!😊
