I think I might enjoy it,but would not want to work there. I just would love to do something else. I do love Krispy Kreme though. When I go to get some near by, the times that I have gone, the store is not really crowded.
Hard to get fired? Lol, they tried to fire me for "boxing too slow", but I was going faster than most of the guys in the video. They *like* how high the turnover rate is. They try to 'let go' of the ones the managers don't like personally. It's a personality thing sometimes. The ones of us who called out the shady things the managers did or followed the rules making them look bad, we all were 'let go'.
from the UK here, my partner works at KK and she's very good at the job, could literally be the manager, in fact, a lot of the others there see her as a manager now cause she actually gives a damn about the job and her colleagues. The current manager is not a bad guy but he makes some very questionable decisions and it feels like he misses crucial things...such as informing people about a rota change...where someone who had a day off the very next day is now suddenly working and they have no idea then. It also seems he has a lot on his plate which is one of the reasons why crucial things are missed and he doesn't give anyone the support they need. But apparently assistant managers are just not a thing at KK here, which baffles me as they expect one guy to manage 3 locations in a town center, just seems very disorganized to me and very stressful. At the very least, having an assistant manager means they can literally take a load and reduce that stress and help make changes without having to go through red tape
@@azurerisus4256 she's doing ok! Found a decent ryhtm and method for navigating the ins and outs of the manager there, but still the incompetency levels are staggering from what she tells me. I'm still adamant she would make a better manager but there isn't much that can be done
There's nothing like a fresh made Krispy Kreme doughnut, melt in your mouth. There's also nothing like a grocery store Krispy Kreme lol. Stale and sweaty.
Krispy Kreme was an awful job. I worked at the factory. Discrimination from most coworkers, blatant safety issues. I worked at the factory not a store, but I would never allow anyone I know to work there.
AYYYEE SAN DIMAS LMFAO I worked next to there and ngl some guy that worked there didn’t like it. It would be busy there too so that could be it. When Covid first started the drive thru line would be almost out of the marketplace. Easily 20/25+ cars. I couldn’t believe how many people would wait in line for that.
i don’t think i’d buy them, cuz the donuts are very small. but just a piece of advice, the more people that have gotten their hands on a product, the more expensive it will be. so krispy kreme sells them to walmart and then walmart sells them at a higher price to make a profit. if you’re gonna get krispy kreme, get it from the donut store itself to save money.
I have to imagine every former employee referenced in this video is the exception, rather than the rule. There's no way their business model is this jacked up.
Do you think you would enjoy working at Krispy Kreme?

High turnover means it's NOT an ideal place to work! That's poor management.
High turnover is management people quit managers not jobs most of the time. When management doesn't care nor do the employees. So..
One of my relatives worked at a Krispy Kreme. They totally loved it.

I hate how the word "sweaty" accurately describes the grocery store KK doughnuts.

They don’t allow employees to take tips. So if you go do not tip us, the company forced us to put the money in the register as extra
