Thank you for sharing a superb set of directions and your recipe. I made your stollen recipe for a neighbor's Christmas gift and everything turned out great! It took 40 minutes for it to reach 190F internal temperature and the bottom got really dark. That is the only issue I need to fix the next time around. Thanks again for the great instruction!

Thanks for the video. I keep a large container of Meyers dark rum soaked nuts and fruits in our pantry cooler year round. Makes the best sourdough sweetbread.
Wow! How nice you have nuts ready to use! I haven’t tried rum in my bread but I usually add small amount of rum to pecan pie. I love the aroma and unique flavor! Hi Gisel, I made the sweet stiff starter before bedtime & let sit at room temperature (around 72-76f) overnight. It should be almost triple by next morning to use. Thank you so much!😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏 Yes it is so delicious I can have it any time of the year. You can freeze the slices and just warm them when you want. 😀 Happy baking!😀😀😀
