I needed to come across this video. My 18D Navion is not allowing me to put it in gear to drive. At nearby storage facility. Have no idea what has gone wrong. Single older woman. When I put it in storage for Winter in October, no problem. Engine sounds & starts fine, just will not allow me to drive it…move from Park. Used code device & codes are P068A & forget other one. Turned over to a guy who has done work for me……waiting to hear from him. I left my keys & access to RV at storage. Going to call soon, since been 2 weeks & no word. At least your video informs me on towing. I had no idea. I’ve had so many issues with this RV, mostly newbie ones & they were Winnebago related issues, never the Sprinter. The Mercedes Dealerships are crap here. But, same forum you spoke about, informed me I needed to find ones that will address warranty items. Dealership 6 miles from my house wouldn’t even return my calls. I’m hoping my outcome is positive. I really need a change of atmosphere & had wanted to head to Florida for the Winter. Gas prices were crazy last Winter & now this…I can’t catch a break. I really don’t want to get rid of it. I cannot have the adventures I was hoping for … only has 15k miles. Brought used at 6500 miles. Wish me luck !!
Thank you for this. I need to get towed to Mercedes 52 miles away thankfully I have good Sam towing unlimited mileage because Mercedes did not arrange this when I talk to them on Friday. He said you get it. Towed and we’ll look at it on Tuesday. It is the Easter weekend but he didn’t offer to get me towed. I dont have a vehicle behind so my pup and I will need to go with the driver. They allow this? I hope my issue is as simple fix as you rs. I’ve got to be in Texas for the eclipse on April 8t h
Our experience with Coach Net was about the same. Could not get calls back; claimed they could not send anyone (we were in a big city--no excuse). We ended up calling a random mom/pop shop who sent a guy that went above an beyond to help us with multiple issues. Done with CoachNet. Glad you guys had a happy ending for what could've been a really bad situation. Thanks for sharing! Signed: aRAYwego's mom
Hi Gloria, thanks for watching! Yeah, we were so disappointed in CoachNet - and considering our membership is up this month, we're going to have to make a decision on whether or not to renew with them after this. I feel the 'operator' and not the company is who hung us out to dry. We will be emailing the management as to what happened. Tell Ray and Sheila we said hello. We really need to catch up with them; it's been way too long. Safe travels and have a wonderful summer!
Thank you Mike! We will! It's a lot of work to put them together. Plus, when we're traveling, it's nice just to put down the camera and enjoy the views and why were supposed to be there.
Great information! Sorry you had to go through this, but you are helping people that might have the same issue. So glad it's over now! I love your background!
The hardest thing we had to wrap our heads around when we had a motorized RV is there are RV issues and there are chassis issues. You alluded to this in your video but didn’t explicitly state that. Glad your issues were resolved quickly.
Hi Charles, thanks for watching. We did explicitly. state that this was the Mercedes Benz issue and not a Winnebago RV issue. And why we took it to a Sprinter repair facility and not an RV repair facility. Sorry if we weren't clear enough on that. But hey, we're back on the road and ready to get exploring again! Safe travels!
Hello, thank you so much for the video. We are thinking about purchasing a Mercedes 2019 Sprinter. And we noticed that you mentioned pulling a jeep. We are wanting to do the same thing, but we have an unlimited 4 door model JL Jeep. Wondering if the Sprinter will pull our jeep. Our sticker states that the vehicle weight is 5400 pounds. Would you happen to know?
So glad you got it fixed quickly and it was under warranty 🙌🤗🙏🏻 We had 3 tows in 3 years with our 44’ Dutchstar🤪 We thought Coach Net was going to cancel us🤣🤣
Hi Nick and Julie, gosh, don't you know it! Talk about a stressful event! And of course, our kitties weren't fans either. Been following your adventures this past 3 months. Glad to hear your safely back to the sunshine state. Think of you guys often.
great piece . i’m going to be going on the road w my humor road / pleasure way/ mb sprinter 2010 and i’m hoping that when ( it will happen) i can recall most of what i need from this episode tytyty
Sorry we missed this Bruce; totally not our intention. As full time RVers, 'life happens'. Will be back on the channel soon with some fun stuff. Be well. Safe travels.
So what happened to you folks? We really enjoyed your videos. We also travel in a Winnebago View with two Maine Coon cats. Looks like you haven't posted anything since your mechanical problems six months ago. Hope you are doing well. Best wishes from Marty and Mary, Toby and Tucker!
I'd assume it was something serious that came up in their lives for them to just dissappear all at once. Sad and concerning for them to not address their sudden absence here on their great channel.
Hi Marty, sorry we didn't see this.. As full-time 'working' RVers, life happens. Grandbaby, travel, temporary illness, and lots of other things too. Thank you for being concerned. We will be picking up our channel soon. Just took a little hiatus for pressing priorities of life. Much love. Posting soon.

I am retired fleet mechanic and worked on the Dodge, Freightliner, and Mercedes version of that chassis, and all were a PIA, would never own one, you get bent over on parts or any type of repair.
Yes, we agree. But the controversy still remains with a smaller RV like Sprinter vans. We know several who have had difficult times with Roadside Assistance and Tow Companies understanding the height thing. But, we knew exactly what we needed and luckily the tow truck operator was very proficient at getting our View to Hoekstra safely and in one piece. Thanks for watching and safe travels!
Hi Ken, we did write up our Winnebago View Solar Upgrades and Lithium Battery Replacements. But we did not go into depth on the actual install. There's always someone out there to blast us with 'you're doing it wrong'. LOL But we do love our 4 Battle Born batteries that power our Mini Moho. Thanks for watching! alwaysonliberty.com/2020/02/motorhome-solar-upgrades.html/
@@AlwaysOnLiberty I feel your pain. Everybody is a critic. We put 400ah of battleborns in our view as well. Went with 600 watt of Rich Solar panels. Couldn't be happier.

LOL But it's not a Ford, so there's that. Safe travels!

This was a wonderful learning experience for me. Thank you!
Hi Eric, thanks for. watching! Hopefully you won't have to go through that. But if anything, you'll know what to do. Be safe on the road!
Great stuff guys! We are about to pick up a new class c and this is one area we had not discussed. We will not doubt be ready to go. Thanks so much!
You'll do great guys! Just don't rush it and always keep after your RV maintenance. Safe Travels!
Nice curtain in your background! Great video with very useful information!
Thank you Bro! And thanks for watching! Just a little stressful but we survived. :D

I can't believe the Lisa let you talk Dan! 🤣🤣🤣 Glad you got your house fixed.
Oh Les, you're so funny! Yeah, we're glad too! Time to get back to exploring and some summer travel! Be safe in KY.
I wish Toyota would build another motorhome. Just not a truck cab. I don't wanna fit in a Tacoma cab.

Luckily we didn't get soaked. MB took good care of us. We keep after our maintenance pretty well. Just one of those things that happen. Be well.
You tow it by opening the owner's manual.

That probably was the pulley seizing.

What navion-view Facebook groups do you belong to?
Oh boy you two sure love to jabber, 23 minutes telling us every little detail I really couldn't care less about. Remember the KISS principle?
Thank you for the tip! Be safe. Be well. Be kind.
