I have always had smooth fox terriers so smart and loving best breed ever!
They are a gorgeous breed!💜
Movement sure does seem to be key! Thanks for this video.
Used to be a manager for an SPCA and the Pit Bull Terriers were like caged raccoons - walking the walls of the run. So much energy. My Beagle/JRT mix has the energy of 5 dogs. After walking her with the Boxer mix, she would be charged up after the walk so had to take her on a bike ride around the block before she was done and could finally settle. Sara Ondrako has a great video on making a snuffle mat with a pocket to help stimulate them mentally and tamp down their energy level a bit.
The Norwich Terrier is the smallest of the terriers :) Thanks for this great video!

Way to go Gamechanger! 💚
@absoluteDogsofficial thank you so much, I'm actually abit scared to be taking on such a fire cracker breed, I'm sure it will be great support having your channel there. Thank you! 🐕❤️
You've got this Gamechanger! 💪🤩🐾
@@absoluteDogsofficial thank you!😁🙌
I have a Toy Fox Terrier. He is full frown at 7 pounds. ❤️
I've learned that it's not always in your best (training) interest to ramp up an already excited dog. Look's like this terrier is getting more excited by the minute! Great that he loves the training so much, but will this work when teaching him things like heel or sit and stay?
Great tips I have jack Russell chihuahua cross he's very busy 🤣🤣
Great combination!
I've been around dogs from a young age, always had no trouble with training them or correcting poor behaviors. I'm not a professional by any means, but ive handled/trained a fair amount of breeds froms gsd's, pits, mals, labs, doodles, heelers... all came with unique challenges but ultimately ended up well behaved and obedient pooches. Now i have a little (maybe rat terrier) mutt I rescued, and her personality is so much more independent. Very much a "listen when i feel like it" type of dog that has taken a lot of work to get a good recall
Hey Ryan, it sounds like you're doing amazing work with your little cheeky terrier 🤩
How about giving this episode of our awesome STAS podcast a listen which may help you develop her recall skills even further! 😊 🐾 Check it out here:

Keep up the great work, Gamechanger! 💫🙌
How do you get a terrier to stop going of to sniff in the middle of a game please
Mine used to do the same and it's super frustrating, I've found what works for us is doing a good 30 min sniff time in the morning ex - sniffari, nose work, snuffle mat or just pottering in the garden to get some sniffs out for the day. It's also helpful to give windows of opportunity so the dogs know what they're doing. Ex when playing I'll say " Let's play!" This helps the the understand what they should be doing and helps them stay focused. If they still get distracted start moving away and acting fun so they are more likely t engage again as they have to chase. Sometimes it's best to wait till the dog is less interested in the scent when you ask them to re-engage as it sets them up to succeed more as they are less preoccupied. Over time they won't disengage to sniff when playing/training etc. Hope this helps
Super advice 🤩
You should be training your dog when he’s tired. It helps
its so hard cause he keeps lying down on his back 😭
Hey there!
Try and get plenty of food rewards in before he lays down on his back.
