Apologies for two things: 1) When the video initially went live, UA-cam added a TON more ads than normal. We fiddled with some settings and hopefully that should be fixed now. Definitely having that number of ads was not something we intended. 2) Slight spoiler here so don't read if you haven't watched the episode ----- there's a small misplay made with Moraug, which is a strangely worded card. I'm sure we'll talk about it during the Roundtable, but yes we're aware of it. We just had no way to fix it once we noticed during the edit. Doubt it affected the game much. Ok that's it. @@christianmiller4422 It can target Planeswalkers. Most old cards that say "target creature or player" have been oracled to say "any target". You should look it up on gatherer. -JLK

Daniel Basich no but he gets the pump from joe's commander which was the whole point of using Morag, 3 attack steps for +3/3 then +6/6 then plus 9/9 even on just Morag and Yawgmoth that's enough to take at least one player out that turn, then he still has the commanders for next turn unless someone does something

@@danielbasich2729 Moraug is his mirror and can attack as well as Yawgmoth which can attack the planes walker tripling damage would enable him to take out at least one of the other players with damage.
Can we all just appreciate the animation quality this episode? Command zone staff really stepped it up in a huge way the last year and its showing. Also gotta love the rocks

This hands downs was the best episode of Game Knights, so much interaction from all players I couldn't have asked for a better episode, and the fact that all decks had the opportunity to flourish and show their unique strengths was amazing 10/10. On a side note the fact that Jimmy almost had an infinity gauntlet moment where his commander almost took all of the commanders in the table that was a sight to see.
And with that infinity gauntlet moment line you have put this in my head

I was rooting so hard for Jimmy this whole game. He was really trying to earn that win.

It didn't make much of a difference, but there is a little mistake with Moraug: he gives you extra combat steps, BUT he doesnt make you untap your creatures during your 'regular' combat step. So, to fully take advantage of his ability, you should first do the normal combat step, then go to second main phase, and then trigger your landfall effects there (or have vigilance on all your creatures, then you can do what you want in any order)

Maybe the best game Knights I've ever watched, me and my friends have watched for a long time on one another's devices but this one made me personally go onto my account to subscribe because the sheer level of casual enjoyment that appeared to happen during this game revitalized my love for the format as a whole. I'm appreciative of the content you guys are pushing out and the builds and interactions of this game were exquisite to watch from start to finish

A idea I had today for a future Game Knights episode. A game of alternate win/lose conditions. Each deck contains at least one alternate win/lose condition and each player is actively trying to win with this in mind. E.G. one player is trying to get all the guildgates and win with Maze's End, while another is trying to fiddle with everyone's life totals so they will lose with Triskaidekaphobia, another is trying to self mill and win with Laboratory Maniac, and the last player is doing shenanigans' to win with Happily Ever After.
Honestly this episode was just great! Joe is a phenomenal guy, hes fun and his deck was amazing. I cracked my ass laughing when Josh responded to Jimmys commander ultimate with a rock.

Having recently gotten into commander, I've been checking out a ton of the Command Zone content and it has been extremely informative and entertaining. I've avoided most of the commander gameplay videos out there because most don't do much to make the game easy to follow. However, I love the way you guys show the commander game play in these game knights episodes. I'm sure it takes a lot to produce, but the game is easy to follow, cards are shown and explained, and i feel like I'm still learning a ton while being entertained.

Note for Josh. Kodama with Toggo makes your lands create rocks, which trigger kodama so you can put more lands onto the battlefield which create rocks, and so forth. It doesn’t say nontoken permanent, and thus rocks allow lands make rocks allow lands etc.
Unlike Wedge, Josh really WAS the Santa Claus of answers in this game.
@Neil Vesely I believe it was in the Homebrew episode with Professor. Inside the cut scene he said that he wasn't the Santa Claus of answers.

After watching 3 of these episodes I have determined that multiplayer commander is basically everyone dropping and deflecting nukes. Rachel looked as if she was retelling her harrowing story of escaping a catastrophe on an episode of Weather Stories before she got crowned.
Correct me if I am not wrong but I believe the wording on the card that gives additional combat steps does not allow them to untap on your normal combat step so it needs to be played in main phase 2
