I listen to this video and watch the master in his element and the universe comes into perfect alignment, the birds sing, and the sky changes into a beautiful portrait. Nuff said
Thanks for sharing the video. One of my favorite EK tunes. In 1976, a little record store in Chicago was playing an EK album for background music. My music taste and guitar playing goals changed for the better. He has been an inspiration ever since.
Wow. Thank you, This is the greatest. Whatever the quality. I am eternally grateful to see this video. If you can find any more videos please post. This made my day.... week .... and year.
I personally love his tone! I wish I could hear that recording in good quality... Extrapolate through that lo-fi recording, I think that's how a P Bass should sound, IMHO. I'm not sure if you're the legendary 'Steve Harris', but you've definitely got THE tone too, but in a different musical genre, of course! ;)
I am 54 start listening to Earl Klugh since I was 14
The late 70's show is 'Soundstage'. George Benson and Chet Atkins were there too! Awesome show.
At this moment in time I am truly speechless. The artistry in the composition is masterful. A delight for the senses and attitude.
Have never seen this clip but have enjoyed his amazing guitar playing for decades. He does latin infused jazz like no other. Thank you!
What beauty and originality. Still shines these many years later.
Thank you Earl for all that beauty, and may God bless you and keep you his concern.
Thanks for listening
Amazing and beautiful.. love that guitar sound… phenomenal playing

It was the same for me with a small record shop in Munich in 1979, since then I've been a fan of EK.
Earl Klugh remains the master of Jazz music.
At least Master of his one of a kind style of guitar playing 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
thanks for uploading - so cool to see EK in the early years

En música sí que es cierto el refrán de "todo tiempo pasado fue mejor"
Amazing!
And did that bass player invent the concept of "bass sagging" or what!

@@DavidChampoux, same name but different person! When I said "sagging," I meant the way he was holding his bass low.
@@steveharris4367 OH I see... I like him anyway! ;)
I have all this music on lp's
Finger painting
The rest of the musicians are? 🤔
