That's a carry over from the Skyrim days, when everyone would eat a sliced loaf of bread. Considering the uniformity of chunks being cubes Bethesda missed an easy opportunity to randomize what people eat while reusing a single animation: just apply RNG for the appearance of the Chunks.
This is the kind of added content that should be encouraged, and (imo) is worthy of a few bucks. This creator put a lot of thought, effort, and creativity into a mod that adds an as-of-yet unseen aspect to the game (business ownership), provides longevity for that additional gameplay (through improvement, resource management, changing economy, rewards), and all in a creative, fun mod that potentially paves the way for other entrepreneurial expansions. This is the type of content I would gladly support. I need game play expansions that add to the Starfield universe, what I can do in it, and give me warm and fuzzies for feeling like what I do actually has an affect in the game world. I don’t want bikini mods for characters. I want stuff like this. YMMV. This is worth way more money than Shattered Space. Kudos to the creator! ETA: …maybe rethinking my stance on bikini mods…😂
This mod is innovative in the context of the current game as it’s doing something very different to any other mods out there. It has entrepreneurship as well armor and weapon crafting that’s unique. The Human Chunks made me laugh 😆 my ass off. Totally unique. Seems worth it to me as something very different in the game as a canvas. When you got millions of credits just sitting around, you need ways to invest and help build up the Settled Systems or even Varuunkai and it seems the only place it’s gonna come from in creativity are mods.
As with the mining mod, that is still expanding, this kind of mod which adds things to do in the game is always welcome. It also gives you a reason to produce an Outpost on a planet that offers Gastro Delight through the creature husbandry structures. I wonder if the new Chunks designs, which are quite welcome BTW, are added elsewhere in the game or if they're exclusive to the player franchise locations. I'm sure someone is quite offended by that giant ravioli Chunks...
@@drewgoin8849 Gastro Delight, the chemical additive being used as a Super Space MSG, probably comes from the digestive tract of certain alien species, yeah.
Chunks, the 'New' Soylent Green! I love it, Econ 101 and Culinary crafting meet Mass Marketing and Fast Food! Climb the corporate ladder and build your Chunks Empire! Thanks to @Cookiemorph for the mod and @Crimson for the commentary.
Hey Crimson, I have a request if you agree with me. I have noticed that I consistently (like a 10:1 ratio) get yellow melee weapons as opposed to guns. I know I can't be the only one this is happening to. Do you think you could do a video about that to help call attention? Bethesda nerfed the drop rates for non-melee rare/legendary weapons, but I have a hard time believing their intent was to do it to this extent.
Crimson, you’re killing me watching this. You hired procurement and marketing for a fixed fee. Then you need to give them a budget to do their job of keeping you stocked and to drive more traffic.
To me, no, never. I don't do paid mods. Hell, I don't even do free mods on Xbox. I am trying for achievements (Stanboys can F off with their "wHo WaNtS aChIeVeMeNtS? dURr) and they all disable them. I could not gaf about weapon skins.

Crimson is seriously the goat. Thanks for creating content around SF as well as reviewing these creations and mods for us!
Chunk’s time! Well that’s a neat mod. Thanks for the review. Great video.
Now, this is a mod that I will purchase. Thanks, Crimson.
I love the idea of owning businesses in the game. Also, id prefer if they didnt eat sandwiches in our restaurants. We serve chunks only

@@_TangoDown_ definitely!
nope, paid mods are horrible for the industry
this would be so cool if you could build this at one of your outposts! the mod author should this with other businesses as well

Is it worth it? I have a mini gun that shoots chunks while I sell drug infused chunks to people so yes......yes it is
'choose your chunks' sounds like the tagline for a game show where the contestants have guess the flavour of each chunk while blindfolded.

By mentioning an "Animal Husbandry" skill, are you implying that Chunks contains actual meat-product in its list of ingredients?!? 😂

I've been waiting for this video!
This is more like it! Definitely purchasing. Appreciate the video Crimson
7:50 I'm sorry, do I see "Hallucinogen" under the optional Additives for the Chunks recipe?!?
Yup, try our new Chunks Tacos and you'll be seeing stars, asteroids, and void horrors!

Human Chunks has always been the rumor.
Thanks for the review! Very comprehensive and glad you enjoyed :)
Taffy is a chewy soft candy here in the US
I think this is a really cool idea.
I was hoping for s mod to open and manage a bar, but this works also
Thank you !!
I generally only do mods via Nexus, but this looks pretty cool
Have you got any opinion on the insectoid ships in the creation paid mods and looking forward to the veil
Missed opportunity not calling Chunks Human as Chunks Soylent

Of course, it’s a Bethesda game so of course it has cannibalism. :)
