Great stuff! I've got one of these and service it myself every year. I find I need to 'prime' it with 4-5 gentle pulls before it will start, but thereafter it's great. Still got the original manual and tool kit that it came with when my Dad bought it in about 1980!
My friend and have just got a pair of Empress 16SPs both with the Tecumseh BVS 153 with electric start. Amazing mowers. He's also acquired an Emperor 21 which is a monster for a restoration.

Great vid man…love the mountfield empress I have one my self with the Tecumseh engine it’s 32 years and still going strong,
