I wish someone would convince Esquif to add a square bow Jon Boat to their lineup, that T-Formex material is exactly what those of us that run Rocky Rivers need in something bigger and more stable than a Canoe.

, he used a nice flat piece of aluminium to mark his line but freehands the cut. Why wouldn't you use that same piece of metal to ensure a nice straight cut by putting the blade against it?
It didn't need to be very exact, we were just making a reference line
Could have plastic welded a peace back in flat the spot you took out .
Couldn't it be strengthened by pouring foam inside it filling it with rigid foam for boats?
It would be super risky. The plastic isn’t very strong so it would likely warp from the heat and expansion. It also risk getting saturated over time, making the boat unusable.

by installing the chair you didn't properly insulate the foam that you broke into, making the boat less sinking-proof.

Yall should do a simple 1648 skiff style build for us salt water guys lots of use use Jon boats and your right no one wants to actually do your over complicated builds no offense. Us salt water guys want shit simple we don’t use all the gismos and gadgets yall bass guys use. A nice front casting deck and maybe a polling platform? Would be cool to see what y’all could do with a 1648 flats skiff. Love the content keep it comin just maybe a bit simpler for us normal folk😂
