Your video is a lot better than LOD’s. I feel theirs is lacking in specifics, such as which hardware to use where.
    Good install video! Thanks!

Thank you for this video. I just got mine unwrapped, and the LOD instructions are missing a ton of information. They really need to fix their instructions. Their own video is missing some steps as well. You filled in all the details.

Dude, LOD does not mess around with their packaging. I put the destroyer bumper/tire carrier on my JK a couple of months ago, and unboxing might have been the most time-consuming part of the process. I absolutely love this bumper btw.

Same question as I asked JeepSolid - now that you've had it about a year how is it holding up? I'm about ready to get the setup as I can't find anything on the market that checks all the same feature boxes.

@@bobberryhill2328 I still really like it. I don’t have major issues with rattles. At first I had to adjust the rubber stops to cut down the rattling, but I haven’t had to do that for several months. The powder coat is holding up well - no rust or anything. I bought the signature series front bumper about 6 months ago, and it is also really nice.

Great video and review! This seems to be the best option for an integrated tire carrier (able to open with the tailgate) and additional storage (the rack) and space for fuel / water and hi-jack. Now that you've had it almost a year, how is it holding up? Any rattles or other concerns?

I like that system! The fact that you can open the end gate and tire carrier together is great!

I ditched the stock rear brake light in favor of the Rugged ridge spare tire center brake light..

That is a very smart package . The bumper looks perfect for the JK wrangler . MUCH stronger too , no fear for reckless parallel parkers 😎 to avoid damage to your rig .Tire mount looks sturdy too . Gas can mount and trail rack will certainly come in handy for extra carry space . Will be handy for carrying anything that you may not want to stow inside the Jeep as well .

I have the LoD Destroyer full width rear with rotopax can mount and the Destroyer mid width front with bash bar.. And Yeah, the packaging was customer proof... One thing I did was to drill a hole and mount a set of stacked hockey puck near the pivot of the tire mount to act as a bumper for when parked on a incline.. this takes the load off of the tailgate stop.. I wish I could send you a pic of this mod I did to the rear bumper.. I think it should be implemented in the original design of it .

@@JeepSolid if you look at your video where just before you mount the tailgate bracket, you show the bearings, and seal, nut... I put the hockey pucks ( 2 stacked) close to where the seal is sitting in the video.. I wanted the tire holder arm to hit the pucks before the tailgate stop arm was maxed out. I used 2 bronze shouldered bushings fitting to the right sized bolt and nut with thick SS washers. And of course I center drilled the pucks with stepper bits.. and then fitted to size of bushings with the Dremel tool barrel sander..

@@JeepSolid I bought mine in 2017, so it didn't have the included bumpstop and bolt. No hole either... So maybe you don't need the mod I did...

Is it me or does my 1995 YJ having the 2.5 few and far between? Not much references my situation. Oil dipstick replacement is elusive so far!

Great Video...I have a question, do you get vibrations with the Trail Rack? I too have a trail rack and I get vibrations (on certain higher speeds) when I have it on, when it's off, I don't get the vibrations, just curious if you have experience any vibrations. FYI, I live in California and the highways are not you would call flat and even, therefore, the constant undulation causes the vibrations. By the way, I agree on the packaging, definitely no damage on shipment, but PITA to open. I have no regrets on the purchase.

I have the whole set for my JKU, and i had rattle and thought it was my rack as well, however, i notice the space is tight between the third light extension and the carrier, so i angled it back away toward the carrier a little bit, used lock tight on the the bolts, and then cranked em down pretty good (not too tight) for the third light extension, and i stopped hearing the rattle. Maybe look at that, if you have the LOD third light extender. I do notice that i do hear slight metal rattle (different from what i heard before) when i have both my 5 gallon jerry and 5 gallon water can filled and on. Its only qhen theyre filled. Dont know what i can do to fix that, but thats a different story lol. Hope you can figure you rattle situation out. Cheers!

Thinking about ordering this entire setup. My question is that it looks like if I order the rotopax holder for both sides it will cover up the tailgate handle making it difficult to open the tail gate. I'm running 37" tires by the way
