- We purchased this bumper over a year ago for Kims Jeep Bella and have absolutely LOVED it so I thought it was time to ditch that ugly plastic bumper on Lagatha and replace it with one of these.
I feel like it's the "Swiss Army knife" of rear bumpers because it does offer so many features!
The bumper has a UHMW (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) to provide the ultimate protection for rock crawling. It's manufactured from 3/16-inch cold rolled steel with two-stage light textured powdercoat finish with a 5 year limited warranty. It actually includes the rear cutouts and LED lights.
It offers heavy duty Fender-to-fender protection with a true Class III hitch for true towing with towable D-ring mounts. Anti-rattle provision provided for receiver hitch. Once you add the Tire Carrier you'll get a mount for two 1.75gal Rotopax cans, a High lift jack mount, as well as an Antenna mount for you CB, Ham, or GMRS radio.

Nice bumper and carrier ensemble! I was surprised when you mentioned the price. I was expecting it to be a good bit higher.

@@tileman17 honestly Mike did such a great job on our install that ours are literally still quiet to this day after all the travel.
I have the exact same rear tire carrier on my jk and CB antenna on the top mount what hi lift jack mount did you use or did you use the bolts mount that came with it . If so how did you install do you have a video on that part.
We used all the hardware that came with it. Unfortunately I don’t have a video of it
Oh ok Will thank you for that I had lost the instructions and trying to figure out where the parts go keep hitting the CB antenna connection when use top hole of the swivel but I will try it again thank you

Hahaha I had to say that sound out loud!! We have it on both Jeeps and it doesn’t rattle at all on either. It has been on Bella for 3 years!
Can this bumper be installed without the mounting kit from Smittybuilt? I have a new bumper and can not get the mounting kit from Smittybilt.
I have no idea man, we used everything in the box so without it I’m not sure!
I think I have an older generation bumper. Just curious about the purpose of the smittybilt swing arm if it’s already attacked to the door.
This puts the weight of the larger tire and wheel on the frame instead of the much weaker door hinges so that you don’t develop door sag after bouncing around on the trails.
