Nobody on tour more deserving than Conner to get their first gold medal, dude is a grinder and is mentally one of the toughest competitors out there. Well played Mr. Garnett many more to come I'm sure.

Fed was in his head after Conner and Augie beat him and Pablo the day before in men’s doubles. Also Fed had some unlucky points with the net chord and failed to adjust to Conner’s god tier backhand. Fed going to 7 straight finals is absolutely incredible. I’m happy CG won gold on his home court! Feels good to watch him win.
also, Fed did not vary his backhand volley at the net enough. He probably went 90% cross court, allowing CG to read it and start winning those points.

Please stop telling who won which medal in other matches during the commentary? Takes a lot of the fun out of watching the other matches. The women commentator is frequently giving other match results away
Personally I don't mind the results. I watch the games to see how the results came to be. The points played matter more to me than the end results.
@@zodiactgit’s like ruining the end of a book or movie though. Ya technically the journey can still be entertaining but the anticipation of how it might end is such a huge piece of the story.

The results are in the web in real time, same for tennis.
@@goandseememoir592 the difference is, I can choose to not look up results. Just because they are available doesn’t mean I automatically know them or have to know them.
CG , on few balls fit by Fed is still charging forward, needs to hit split step or pop stop to be ready to fire off in any direction. Course I be 54 and a local pickle guru at best, just see CG ability to not only hang with anyone but be dominant both offensive and on defense returns!! Peace!!
