STREET BASIS Z is strictly a ride height adjustable kit. This makes it a perfect setup for the daily driver looking for an increase in handling performance without compromising comfort for everyday use. For many of you considering a lowering spring + performance shock absorber combination, the STREET BASIS Z makes even more sense as we select appropriate spring rates and valve our dampers to match. No guesswork on the end-users part in trying to match one brand of springs to another brand of shock absorbers. The added height adjustment feature allows the end-user the ability to adjust ride height to their preference, something that lowering springs lack. Being that most vehicles are slightly unbalanced from left to right sides, that means you can easily adjust the ride height so that each corner is even from their opposing sides

Just put these on about a week ago. I added aftermarket camber plates and radial bearing upper spring plates on the fronts to finish the assembly. Feels so nice. Super easy to build yourself. I need better seats because the turning Gs have increased.

I have been running these for about 2 months on the civic. I combined these with camber plates and Skunk2 and Energy Suspension parts. Absolutely amazing feel. So sharp in the corners. Smooth on the straights. Stiff but not harsh. A huge improvement over stock. Thanks for the review.

I also recommend AMR Engineering radial bearing upper spring seats. I used these to match up the front coilovers to the camber plates.

I have installed my coilover set but the rears seems to look odd. There is no top mount for this set so I reused my OEM mounts. When I jack up the car, looking inside from the trunk the coilovers look normal but when I release the jack the piston rod in the coilover protrudes from the interior and the mount does not sit flush.when I push down on the trunk you can see the piston rod bounce out of the top mount.

Just install these Tein on gs430. They are too bouncy. My suggestion is spend the few extra dollars for better coilovers.

@@MrRobear how? All u showed was the ride height on these. And it looks like with these if you were to lower it to the max then it would shorten the strut travel

My Tein Street Advance Z have about 30 possible clicks to adjust dampening. Is this normal? The manual says it's supposed to be only 16 clicks.
