Milano is just so good man you really feel his impact on every play
Soooo freaking good.
It’s early in his career yet, but Canton has an eye on Milano!
As a phins fan, i think Tua did pretty good for what he was given, if his OL could hold up a bit longer it would have been a closer match.
Bills fan, I agree. Tua was the least of their problems.
The two fumbles put them in a hole the bills didn't let the offense out of.
@@dolfan13jmb Miami only lost one fumble.
What put them in a hole is facing a far superior defense while not having an offense capable of adjusting, plus an equally deadly offense and not having a defense that is capable of adjusting as well.
It was a foregone conclusion, that's why the sharps bet on the Bills to cover and got paid.
When Miami has their full o line jaelen Philips and Ramsey it will not be the same game
I haven't bet on football in years. I'm just like every other fan . I hate every other team in the division and always pull for their opponents unless it benefits my team.
My pick last week was the chargers to cover the 5 and a half.
Awesome as always. The aggression and discipline of the D this year has been incredible.
No doubt!
I’m so pumped we got Leonard Floyd! Dude has been an absolute underrated difference maker for our D Line! We just needed that one more elite pass rusher to always allow us to get pressure with 4 no matter what rotation is in the game! And it’s only going to get better when Von is back! We got an absolute elite unit when everyone is healthy
It's because Oliver is a monster, he's making everyone look good. Our line is easily the best in the league right now.
@@phimuskapsi And that's without Von.
We do get steady pressure no matter what four are out there. And I think that final guy you're thinking about is Von Miller. I think Beane got too frustrated with himself and went all redneck on it and threw everything he had at the D line. Got lucky cuz culture and camaraderie are still huge to professionals, apparently they like to be happy with their employers and co-workers too, who knew lol
😊😊😢
I do feel so bad for Tre, he didn’t deserve this…. But I am also so excited to see Elam get activated and prove to our Defensive staff that he is deserving of a first round pick. I got all the faith in the world in Elam. He just needs a chance to prove it. Also I am so happy we didn’t decide to trade him, because we our going to need the depth. And I am happy about how well Taylor Rapp played with Micah Hyde! They looked great out there together
I seen a talking person saying yesterday how they are clearly not done with him, because if they were they'd have been activating and put him in during garbage time to get some tape on him for the trade block. So him not dressing means they aren't trying to just cut their losses and still have some faith there for him to develop.
Yea that took the joy of the win away from me.. so sad for him and the team
Agree 💯% Brother, God bless & let's go Buffalo!!! 🙏🙏💯🦬🦬🦬🦬💯💯 we went fishing 🎣🎣 yesterday vs the dolphins.
We ended his career for him...say thank you

Wow quite the classy statement.
I just can't believe the instincts Bernard is displaying. I mean, with him and Milano in there, read and filling gaps went from average at best to, dare I say to date, elite. Eric, your favorite play (when those backers filed left and filled as they went) was eye popping! I haven't seen that at any level to be honest. The intellect it takes as a player and instincts to do that is off the chart!
Great analysis as always, this year's d has been so fast and always attacking. Love it, sad for Tre but maybe the team can win him a ring
Couldn’t wait for your breakdown erik. Go bills
Go Bills!
in a word...Harmony. The way these guys communicate on defense is incredible. Prayers to Tre' White. NFL needs to throw everything it has
research-wise into what causes these injuries.
Mr Eric Turner your COVER 1 on the Buffalo Bills is EXCELLENT!!!!!! I LOVE YOU SHOW THE SAME PLAY FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES SHOWING THE COMPLEXITY OF THE FORMATIONS AND WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH!!!!! ERIC YOU ARE PURE GENIUS THE BREAK DOWNS OF THE GAME!!! IAM SO GRATEFUL WE HAVE YOU AS PART OF THE BILLS MAFIA THEN SOME OTHER TEAM!!!! You also compliment the Buffalo Bills!!!!!!!
Thanks a million!
That was a great play by Taron Johnson. That’s hustling right there.
Awesome job cranking this stuff out so quickly. I knew that one of the keys was to disrupt Tua's rhythm, but I didn't know how they were going to do it specifically.
Thank you!
Fantastic analysis of a big win. Let's gooooooooooo!
Waiting all morning for this!!
excellent analysis.. thanks.
our D consistently defended the actual areas being attacked, rather than reacting to the areas being threatened.
great preparation by our coaches, and great discipline by our players.
go Bills!.
incredible analysis… i’m continually amazed with your dedication to providing top shelf reviews… thank you SO much Eric! God bless you and your family and Go Bills!
Thank u. Go Bills!
Thank you Eric. This is so instructive and just shows me how complex this game is. I really do like the fact that Sean McDermot has taken over the D-fence
Absolutely great stuff, Erik. Thanks so much.
Great stuff Eric. McDermott is doing so much more for our defense than Frazier ever could.
Thank you for this condensed version
Love these videos! Hoping Tre returns as good as ever. 🙏
Thanks brother! We hope so as well!
The way this back 7 communicates is so fun to watch. Bernard has been impressive thus far. He’s like a Milano that controls the defense and is a fun LB to have.
Bills did a good job on he Miami Dolphins. Miami fan been in Miami since 1961. I was in Miami before the city of Miami even had a professional team. Good luck to the Bills this year.
Good luck the rest of the year!
Excellent analysis
Excellent analysis! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the breakdown content. Go Bills !
I absolutely adore these insights

Excellent analysis! You did it! I’m hooked!
Thanks!
Great breakdown once again. You do the best job of dissecting game film on the web. Love your channel.
Thanks man!

Top notch content!! LFG Buffalo!!!!
Ed with a big pancake on Hunt on the 1st play shown. He's been so fun to watch.
thank you so much for thes brekadowns erik, on a weekly basis I look forward to this video and the longer breakdown. Thank you!! Defence is solid but abit worried about Tre white loss
I watched every minute of this video. Such interesting content! Well done!
Thank you
Eric, great job! Like many, I knew Sean had the ability to scheme the talent this team has in a more dynamic way other than zone defenses. What I watched here was far more advanced than what I even imagined. The intelligence of the players on this team is exceptional. This team will be a tough out if they come to play!
Thank you!
Tua is developing a reputation of being largely immobile hence unlike say Josh Allen pressure is way more effective esp when first reads are predictable & D makes him hold ball for another second
Agree 100%. Josh can often buy time with his ability to move and extend plays. Miami is still a tough out but without a solid defense, they're just noise.@@newsfrombelow
Any QB needs time to go through his progressions. If five cant block four the the QB is in for a rough day. Your film breakdown clearly show that by the time Tua moved from his first read, a Dlineman was in his face, @23:45, Achane should realize that he was supposed to at least chip the lineman, instead he gave the defender a direct path to the QB. Bottom line it was more of the Bills man handling the Dolphins O line, along with penalties made by the dolphins and the lack of adjustments by Miami's head coach that led to the bludgeoning.
Yeah, Allen shredding Miami's soft defense for 5 TDs and a perfect QBR had nothing to do with it...
The only reason Buffalo didn't drop at least 2 more TDs on Miami is because they had no reason to, the foot was mercifully removed from the pedal.
Nah, that’s not on Achane- that’s on the center. He was obviously out of his depth, and was just one of the many mistakes made with the protections.
Milano the monster!!
Thanks! Great job as usual
Thank you
They threw so many looks at them & still played consistently. So well coached & smart players
Erik, your production is getting better and better! Bravo!!!
Thank you! I try to get content out quickly but in depth so I try not to do too much editing. Time is crucial.
@Cover1 you do an awesome job. I know it's cliche, but i look forward to your breakdowns, just as much as I do the games.
Both you and Ant do an outstanding job.
Great video showing how we got lucky yes, but we made our own luck by a LOT of outstanding scheming and play. Thank you!!
Can't wait for the offense breakdown
Producing it now! We will be live tomorrow at 7
Dolphin fan thank you for this!
Appreciate that. Your team is going to still make waves.
great breakdown bro
Thank you

Nice content!
I'm so glad I'm a buffalo fan. What other team has film breakdown like this. Cover 1 for the win.
Tua had a great game
I feel like Milano is a somewhat underrated linebacker in the league. The dude is all over the place making plays.
I saw the Athletic describing that Mostert wheel route. Basically Tua's body language said "crap I should not be throwing this vs this coverage but idk what else to do".
Nate might be right about that. That rotation was nasty.
Fantastic analysis. It was obvious Dolphins offense is totally designed around Tua not being able to take a hit. One more concussion, and his career is over. McDermott created a great scheme to make Tua take that extra second, which then gave the Bills D-line the advantage.
His career isn’t “over” he is fine he had a rough game and he’ll adjust like every other team would
@@jackson0228the statement was one more concussion and his career is over, which could be true. Hoping not, even as a Bills fan, I like Tua.
@@staceylee7957 I appreciate the Tua support and I will say you guys kicked our ass with all those disguise coverages, but Tua’s career will still go on as long as he doesn’t have a grade 3 or higher head trauma injury. Mitch Morse has had 6 concussions in 8 years and has had a lengthy career + is still playing today
As a Dolphins fan the only 2 positives I take from this game is we have a decent rookie RB in Achane as he had a good game, and Tua seems to learn to take hits better as he was hit plenty and seemed to bounce back. That was embarrassing.
They are set up quite well for the future.
Achane looks great.
Having said that, and I'm not trying to take anything away from him--he did exactly what he's supposed to do to an elite degree when his number was called--but I'd be remiss to not mention that the majority of his yardage in this game came down 17+ in the 2nd half, and about 40% of that majority was down 28.
Miami and Buffalo will almost certainly be playing for playoff berthing in week 18, glad the rivalry is back and running strong!
@@Cover1not really. This is Miami's year if they don't do good this season it is over. Loosing a lot of talent after this year and we have -38 million in cap space for next season.
GO BILLS!!!
Go Bills
It has nothing to do with taking away the first read. How is that so hard for people to comprehend? The problem was the back up center is hot garbage. The fact that the back up center was in the game, meant that they couldnt run their typical offense, because the center is ass, and doesnt execute on time. And add on top of that, the fact that the man couldnt block a nose bleed with a whole box of tampons, and you end up with Liam Eichenberg playing center for your football team. Your entire offense gets limited. But Tuas first read rarely is who he targets. You should do a better job. Tua gets through his progressions faster than anyone else in the league. The largest problem came from the protection not being able to handle a 4 man rush with 5 blockers, 6 blockers. Didnt matter. And the dolphins defense couldnt get any pressure that wasnt artificially generated with a blitz.
@19:20 the ball was on the 47 yard line, White held on to Hill all the way to the 37 yard line. probably only released hill because he felt the injury.
Glass half full, at least he didn't beat up any pregnant women after the hold.
Taking away our two best OL players Terron Armistead and Connor Williams was the issue. Our back up C got Terron injured and caused the pocket to collapse
It was a huge issue, no doubt. But Miami's defense was a bigger problem, there's no chance Tua was keeping up with Allen in this game.
I just love the film and the Buffalo D ! Are they #1 in the AFC ?NFL ?
Arguable as to the AFC, but they look better than the Chiefs early on so it's a yes right now.
NFL? Toss-up, but SF has the best record, so I think it has to go to them... for now.
The defense seems to not be messing around anymore. Coach McDermott has them ready to strike. They took care of a "high powered" Miami offense and made them look average. Early on, the defense had Miami thinking they had a chance but then shut them right down and took the game over. The offense was able to roll along with ease because of it. Spectacular game by the Bills.
There is a reason Chosen /Robbie Anderson was cut, the throw was a 50/50 ball giving the reciever a chance to make a play or possibly get a pass interference call, had the receiver continue on a striaght path he could have caught the ball, instead he cut in resulting in the interception.
Film breakdown on Monday afternoon!! When do you sleep Erik!
Sleep is the cousin of death
E, do you have a video talking about how our D packages have been different this season? I'm so used to Leslie Frazier playing nickel every down it seemed, and we're not getting that from McDermott
Amazing as always! If you are taking suggestions, I would love to see a film room breakdown on the Bills Offensive line as a whole. Are they actually good, or what is happening?
Have you been watching our shows on Wednesdays? We have covered it👍
I saw some of your breakdowns on Spencer Brown but not on the line as a whole. Which show? You have too many for me to watch them all! (wish I could though they are all great) @@Cover1
Dont over think it. It was communication issues because of the crowd noise.
I just a thought about how the McDermott D is gonna hold Tua’s lunch money for yeeearrsss to come.!✌🏾❤️🏈
Go Bills!
Tua had no hot route to Milano's side on the blitz, so no chance of getting the ball out--great job attacking the Dolphin's scheme
Tyler Bass is not getting enough credit - he's been Bass - O - Matic !
They stopped using motion for some reason? Miami got away from all the motion they were using in the past 3 games. Tyrek was just lining up with guys 2 out of 3 times. They lost Armstead also which helped Bills.
Cuz their center Connor Williams was out with injury. Their backup Liam Eichenberg was not a normal center and he didn't know all the snap counts so their playbook was limited when they needed it most.
Dolphins played one good game thats it
The Dolphins D and O lines is the problem!!!!😮
The issue wasn’t McDermott forcing Tua off his first read. It was the pass protection. They are countless times in the game where Tua was making the throw after his first read.
All of his sacks were on plays over 2.5 seconds. And there were countless plays where the first read was taken away and he held onto the ball and took a hit beyond the first read. x.com/erikjturner/status/1709211301312884803?s=46&t=nJu15nMvcQFfciTbqw_Ssg
@@Cover1how do you know what his first read was, genius? This first read crap has already been debunked. Buffalo did a good job of taking all quick reads away. That is the key.
@Tubalcain422 I watch the film and where Tua typically goes with the ball. And even your genius HC admitted it in his presser.
@@Cover1 whatever dude. The Bills did more than take away their first read, whatever McDermitt said. They were just better prepared. They didn’t just concentrate on the “first read”. That is ridiculous.
On most of the plays they took away his first read and he hit his second or third only reason the game got out of hand was because of Miami O line injuries simple as that. And some fumbles and 2 ticky tacky PI calls that helped the bills other than that besides the pick of the ball that sailed tua was shredding that number one defense I honestly believe if armstead didn’t get hurt miami has a chance to win that game. Also don’t forget miami had a TD that was called back because of holding or something
Illegal man downfield
@@Cover1 oh that’s what it was that’s right. It just seem to me the game change when armstead walked of the field because with him out bills was able to get to tua with 4 and started using the LB more in coverages but man the fumbles really hurt miami and they imploded after them. Should be a different secondary when bills come to Miami and should be interesting. Props to the Bills defense they played well and I knew since the chargers game that Miami defense was not ready or Super Bowl ready at least.
In all honesty, the tide changed on Miami’s 3rd possession that ended in a punt. Armstead went down on a 3rd and 2, right before Miami’s 4th punt.
I feel like when one talks about taking away a QB’s first read, it is normally in the context of them not being that great of a QB. Is this where the Tua craze finally starts to come back to Earth a little?
He still threw for 282 25/35....what are you even talking about?
👍🏼
🤔how about those BUFFALO BILLS 🏈🤣🤔
How much do you think Armstead getting hurt helped the Bills pass rush?
He was a big loss for sure. He’s very talented.
Did they take into account the 2 best offensive linemen were out for Miami?
You can thank Liam Eichenberg.
Miami will come back with a answer and a plan don't worry
Hopefully you can break it down the same way after the Jill’s come to Miami in a few weeks from now and get their ass handed to them. Enjoy this one 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽…
We always do, twice a week regardless. Come on back!
Erik, why is that motion at 8 minutes not illegal motion? he is moving towards the LOS at the snap?... They did this several times that I saw. In my opinion the league needs to crack down on this. Am I wrong here?
Liam, that back-up center is god awful. Miami had so many chances for bigger plays but his failure to block at a low level starter level is discouraging. I wonder how Miami would've faired if healthy. Either way with Miami defense playing how it did Miami was unlikely to win that game. We'll see them again and if healthy that pressure up the middle will stop.
"Discover how the Bills outsmarted and confounded the Dolphins' offense." I disagree heavily with this statement. The Bills just outplayed them. It wasn't like Tua was lost when he had to progress past the first read, it's that he didn't have time to progress because (as you yourself point out repeatedly) the D-line was getting pressure in his face too fast. On the flip side, the Dolphins were not able to confound or outsmart the Bills defense and scheme people open either, as they've been able to do against most people this season.
Lots of holding on them waddle and hill. Lol you can clearly see it 😂
Look at the bright side, at least they didn't beat up any pregnant girlfriends.
@@toasternfriends3329 😂
28 points is not shutting them down but compared to 48 points, I guess.
Milano hands all over the tight end cheaters at 9:18
You forgot to mention they got pressure with 4 rushing…
can someone explain to me how the other team knows Tua's first read? Did the Bills steal McDaniels game plan?
Cuz they weren't doing motions this game cuz their backup center didn't know all the snap counts so they were limited on the playbook. Those motions allow them to be a little more tricking setting up.
You guys won because we had eichenberg playing center. He finished with a 4.2 out of 100 pff grade. And the 4 backups on defense played like shit.
O line was a sieve. Complete disaster. Bills did a good job taking away tua first read but he has no chance go to his 2nd bec the bills 4 man rush got through so quick
2.59 seconds is plenty of time. Dolphins fans are just used to 2.34 time to throw which he averages
This McDermotts defense not Fraziers last year flop 😂 huge difference
Kohoo why why ... Dolphins need a big corners.... those big receiver's run over them ,, our secondary sucks bad
The Bills D didnt do anything really creative. All NFL teams should know how to beat the Dolphins, its pretty easy. All a team has to do is have a good pass rush, miami OL cant handle good pash rushers or blitzers. Everyone knows that Miamis OL is trash especially without a real center and LT. As soon as Armstead went down that OL collapsed. Pretty easy on a secondary when the QB has >2 seconds to throw. They cant run block very well either so if a defense can stop the run, force miami to pass and then rush and blitz the pass plays you can shut down miami O fairly easily.
When von Miller comes back, it’s going to get real ugly for opposing teams. Just hope we can replace tre with someone competent
🤦🏽♂️ lots of holding on the DBs big being called also the Miami OLiNE are not getting upfield when blocking to take out the LBs
last years dolphins T-shirt was about the cold weather and they lost😂 this time 🤔 if it doesn't fit you most quit!!😂😂😂😂😂
Yall see that block shed from Bernard 3:45. Dude push pulled a lineman thats 100 pounds more than him, something Tremaine never could do.
hope he keeps this up. Another solid GM move by Beane to let tremaine walk;
🤔LGB!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry bro what affected this offense was not having Connor Williams at center and Miami's defense. The first two series we had the run and after that we had to go away from it to try to play catch up. Miami fixes their defense they crush Buffalo
lol, first read? ignorant. he def sometimes prereads a defense and goes with it, that's not a 1st read thing. usually it works, every now and then the defense adjustment works and makes a play. bills d line owning miami oline, like extremely ownign them and making them look stupid, is how the bills d held em to "just" 28 points, officially only 20 cuz of idiot OL penalty. bills d line should get the credit on d, they played really well.
