    Great stuff, thanks Erik and Ant. This makes it even more clear that we need a true #2 WR that will force defenses to pick their poison. Gabe Davis is not it.

    @ 36:45, why do they run Diggs and Shakir into the same place? By sitting that one safety, they're basically getting a 2v1 on both Diggs and Shakir with only 3.

    It's more damning on Davis, and our WR room in general that they can't feast with all the disproportionate resources defenses are putting into stopping Diggs
    Props to the TEs and RBs (mainly Cook) though

    Gabe Davis cannot create any separation on his own, which is a problem when he mostly faces any other teams second corner. That is the single biggest contributor why the offense can’t fully step on the gas pedal

    I want to see Andy Isabella. This team doesn’t have a true deep threat. I don’t know if Isabella is a true deep threat, but I know he’s the fastest on this team. We need someone who can take the top off and open the short and intermediate routes for Diggs and pull a safety.

    Watch the media make a deal out of this and twisting it up and saying diggs is unhappy here

  • @toddheywood8837

    On that second down play(32:57) if u watch shakir on his route (slot bottom screen) his defender had space, and opened his hips early to the inside leverage, is shakir allowed to take route toward middle of field? Because he would have had him twisted, and for a long gain.

  • @maximillian125
    @maximillian125 7 місяців тому

    Maybe with Knox back we can have a better blocker for those screens. Also, triple bunch formations? Put two guys in front of Diggs as a barrier to muddy the defenders' view/route to him? What do you guys think?

    Diggs is definitely a great receiver, but he's small and does not have blazing speed, and teams can take him away by focusing on him, which they can do becasue the rest of the receivers are terrible. Allen put up amazing numbers with this shit crew, imagine if he had better weapons to work with. The bills need bigger, faster receivers, at least a quality #2.

  • @LaramieWY730
    @LaramieWY730 7 місяців тому +2

    I don't understand. There are WR1s on other teams that continually get open and make plays. Diggs is clearly not being utilized by the coaching staff. It makes NO sense. He is the best receiver and he is not being targeted. Is it because Allen is afraid of throwing a long ball because he may get picked? I think this has more to do with Allen's INTs.

    • @jcZo23
      @jcZo23 7 місяців тому +3

      Diggs doesn't have tue speed or strength to beat double & triple teams & the rest if the WRs are mediocre at best, Davis is just 🗑 Diggs is 30, he's not the same Diggs anymore from even 2 years ago

  • @evertonelvio

    Diggs had a big argument with Allen, I think on Broncos game... Diggs complains about not receiving de ball... And Allen then tell him to use Broncos Tshirt... Now... On Eagles game, some times Diggs was open, but Allen still don't pass to him... And, when pass, pass a high ball, to force Diggs to jump and be hit on the hibs!
    All of this to just say that we can't throw away the human factor of the atletes...

    Quarter of a billion dollar QB needs to make those throws. Why is he still so awful on screens, is it footwork? You guys are awesome, we all know Josh is great, but you do not need to be afraid to criticize 17, he's a 7 year vet at this point. I know there is a large portion of the fan base that still think he's a rookie and nothing is his fault, but the film is what it is.
