You shouldnt worry about copyright. This Song was written by Walther von der Vogelweide almost 1000years ago, In Extremo just covered it, like many other folk Bands :)

    Welche Wunder sind hier geschehen!
Dass eine Jungfrau ein Kind gebar,
hoch erhaben über aller Engel Schar,
war das nicht etwa ein vollkommenes Wunder?

I thought the "bin ich kommen an die Stat" in the first stanza was not meant as Stadt as in City but Stätte as in place (where sth takes place) which makes more sence in context as the song goes on to list of things that happened there.
Also from what I hear of their singing it's "da gott männigliche tat" (where god did many things )not "da gott menschliche trat" but I could be wrong but Micha does not sing an r. mannig can mean a lot like in mannigfaltig: having a lot of different facets/ various different/ big with a lot of variance .
where did you get the middle german text from anyway cause theres quite a bit of variation betweet the text and what Micha is singing (erbarme vs vil arme is another).
Also the englisch Translation of "da hob sich der Juden Leid" is wrong. The french is quite more accurate. It's "there lifted itself the jews suffering"

      Oh thank you for these remarks;
For the lyrics, I took them from the transcribed Palästinalied of the Middle Ages. I checked the official lyrics - and honestly, now that you're mentionning it, I didn't compare them (I got in mind the idea that there was no modification).
But then again, for what's sung, I think that High German's pronunciation may be different that modern German - nah ?
As for the English translations - I honestly do my best, yet, I do not master English language - French is my main and maternal language.

I speak both German and Arabic, and some parts are not correctly translated to Arabic, they can be translated better.

This isn't German. This is High German. Hochdeutsch is different from Deutsch.

If you speak a dead language like High German and Arabic, I'd invite you for a cooperation to Instituate some deeper studies on the language in Arabic and introduce old germanic languages to Arabic :)

I saw english translation in other version of that song and it matches the one here however the arabic translation is not really accurate, also in the verbalization of God became man phrase other than the author chose the wrong word for its equivalent in arabic he spaced between the letters like”C a r l”.

О !!! ))) Субтитрами на арабском. Интересно, это для "новых немцев" в самой Германии, или жителей Святой Земли так с творчеством Вальтера фон Фогельвейде знакомят ??! ;) ))))

      Salutations !
I don't understand russian, but could get what you mean.
No, it isn't for the Arabs in Germany, because I doubt those are interested in medieval of Christian heritage.
It's mainly for In Extremo Arabic speakers fans. This channel translate mainly metal songs to Arabic.
And this chant may interest Christians, and not all Arabs are Muslims, there are Christians, Jews, atheists, and more...
