howdy guys, Me and dan and Mark took some red oak lumber to a dry kiln Facility.. Had a blast pocking at each other hope you all enjoy this www.loggerwade.com/
I love this video! I'm a retired OTR truck driver with over 3 million miles logged in! I've been out of the big rigs for quite a few years now, not because it was my choice but my health got in the way or I would still be driving today!! I miss my 379 Pete with a 550 Cat and a 18 speed!! Keep these videos coming too Logger Wade!
Nice to catch a glimpse of the other side of from tree falling in woods to being dried ready to out for sale to construction, thanks Wade good to hear Old Blackie out on the road.
My neighbor made his fortune building pallets for the furniture industry!! I live in what USED to be the furniture capital of the WORLD, Lenoir NC. We made just about any furniture brand you could think of, Broyhill, Kincaid, Singer, Thomasville, just about all of them... Before Clinton's 'Free Trade Agreemen in the 90'st'!!! It almost DESTROYED our county!!! Now he makes a fraction of what he used to, he used to make $18000 a minute!!! Not now during this economy though... Glad to see them coming back to life and I REALLY hope they make it 🙂 Thanks for the ride along Mr Wade, have fun and be safe out there!!!
I absolutely loved riding along with you and your crew trucking. It reminds me of when my uncle drove truck and was working for the pulp mill, and he would bring loads in and out of the valley. I even got to ride bob tail with him. Thank you for sharing! Brought back great memories. 😊
Heh, some of my favorite Logger Wade videos were the ones that had that 360 camera. It was fun being able to switch between looking at the truck and the load. Keep on keep'n on, Wade!
I thought I was subscribed (?) now I am. Driving those rigs down the road can be quite entertaining with the right group of guys. I did it for a short period with a big group running end dumps on a big project. Everyone looking out for each other and having a good time doing it.
Was an R&D engineer for Mack trucks in the 70's and 80's...drove many of those F Models. Seemed normal at the time but now it seems odd that they were all brand new right off the assembly line. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Just listen at OLE BLACKY TALKING and WALKING the DAWG, for us, She sure is Sounding Awesome Cool, you’ve got her tuned right thanks Wade for taking us along with you
That brought back lots of memories. I used to pickup from a sawmill that sold kiln dried demensional lumber. That Tyvek stuff they wrapped their lumber in was slippery as heck if it got wet. I used to deliver all over the New england and upper Midwest. Just me the 9400 idi International I drove and a 48 foot Transcraft Flatbed with 10'1" spread axles. Only thing I don't miss is getting finger pinched in the winch blocks.
Thanks Wade. Maybe sometime you can go into more detail about the process of chainsaw to the end customer. Since you are mainly hardwood, I was curious where the trees you harvest end up. I remember you talking about how careful you had to be with the really nice trees that were destined for veneer, so other than that and the pallet wood you guys mill, I would think it would go to things like custom/high end cabinets, flooring and specialty lumber stores. 🤷♂
Blacky sounds an looks good. What I can of the inside it looks spotless. Four years ago our economy was looking great with gas prices down, we were downsizing trade with China, and you could go to the grocery store without taking out a bank loan. It appears we may have to bite the bullit for another four years. God Bless You All, Our Country, and Thanks for Another Video.
I can't believe at about 12:36, the County, or whoever, hasn't made that place put in a turn lane and widen the road! I loved this...I am in Southern Michigan, sell firewood and play with lumber logs, have to haul a couple big oak logs to an Amish mill near Indiana tomorrow...but, I don't drive a semi. LOL
I have dropped more than one load of red oak there myself. I guess it’s still owned by the same Norwegian-American family. I told the owner once that I was going to buy his whole operation. He told me “You can’t a-fjord it!” Anywho....
Night, and Start from the Lumber Truck Convoy! You Check the Truck and start the long Drive with the Plank to a great Sale Plac!, Wade but when go You in the Wood and cut Trees??? You by this Work to see is Interesting 👍👌💪😉
Will wade I wished you would give me a call when you was going to Lagrange that’s in my backyard. I would’ve took y’all out for breakfast before you went back home. Keep up the good work.
Hi Wade I messaged you on Facebook earlier about getting a saw blade hammered. I was just trying to confirm that this was really you I'm chatting with. Thanks Garry
You just made a statement that is not true sir? You said that you had to turn your light bulb on? Not possible because I am sure that yours is on even when you are sleeping? Loved the videos sir . ❤
Wade you need to go inspect and give you opinion of Dirt Perfects Mad Max Tree Saw, that Mike and Aaron built out of a truck axle, square tubing and parts off a brush hog and rotary broom. This is made to go on his track hoes. I asked Mike if you had seen it and how many had you ordered. Go do the Logger Wade inspection, it looks like mike and Arron my go in the logging business. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣
Ol blacky needs a rubber duck hood ornament. So he can lead that convoy.
The Wade of all trades lol
You’re an honourable man for respecting the lumber company.
Nice change of pace, Wade
Always good to see you smiling 👍
Being a retired 46 year truck driver I enjoy watching this.
