    I just purchased one of these. Chris and I spoke twice for over an hour. He is just like this in real life, very helpful and customer oriented. I was happy to spend the money. I know he will be there every step of the way. so pumped for mine to come in.

    I spoke to Chris on the phone this week about a 12V unit for a truck sleeper. He was unbelievably helpful. The kind of customer service it is almost impossible to find anymore. Sent me the materials and information I requested immediately. I was seriously impressed.

    Lily, our 2019 Sprinter, 170 extended, XD, 4x4, has been in 47 of the 48 and North Dakota might happen next month. Lily has been from Vancouver Island to Key West. From Los Angeles to Montreal. She's been to the bottom of Death Valley and 12,000 ft up in Rocky Mountain National Park. All of this would have been a lot less enjoyable without our HD series, 24v, split Cruise N Comfort AC system.
    Save your roof space for a deck or better yet, more solar. Don't risk another hole in your roof; you won't know you have a leak until the damage is done. Cruise N Comfort and with confidence.
    PS: we did have a problem with our system; it kept losing its charge. Nobody would consider diagnosing the problem, much less fix it because it's a Mercedes and if they didn't build the van, they didn't want to fix somebody else's problem - and that's exactly what it was, our up-fitter builder didn't crimp the lines at the evaporator properly.
    Even though she was out of warranty, both the upfitter's and Cruise N Comfort's, we took Lily to THE specialist - to Cruise N Comfort in Tempe, AZ. Chris (Chris Frye, Owner) got under the van and spotted the crimping problem immediately. Chris set us up with new (and improved lines and fittings) and a local guy that could install them - Chris was getting ready for Overland Expo and besides, it was the builder's crimp job, not a probhem with his unit. Anyway, yeah, happy campers again!
    Thank you Chris.

    I have a 12v CNC in my Promaster and we could not live without it. We are currently in Florida. Absolutely love it! It did freeze up on me once. But after reading the manual I think it was because I had it on low all night and it was really humid out? Has not happened again.

    When talking about the ducting you can see Chris's face that the guy is being too ambitious. Ducting is hard. I suggest going right to the duct tubing that has the insulation already around it. Otherwise you;; have water. I redid my ducting 3-4 times.

    Keep gilding that lily layer after layer.
    If a lily morphs into a magic carpet, this will be the one.
    The magic carpet interview studio.
    Can't wait to see who will be the first person you will eventually interview.

    I don’t understand why they mount the compressor in the living space throwing off so much heat and not under the van with the condenser.

    about your van electric system, are you relaying only on solar or will have also a second alternator to also recharge your "house" batteries when the car is running?
    I would try to get some 12V from the house portion of the VAN and leave a "contact" for it near the car battery so if the car battery dies, the house batteries could start the car.

    • @JaYoeNation
      @JaYoeNation  2 роки тому

      I’ll have a secondary house alternator to be able to handle most recharging

    I am looking at the C&C "VES Ultra" or the "HD" models for my promaster build. They seem similar, which would be better for my application?
