You don't see shitty food and 200 people crowded around the starting line either.
I think I'm moving to Brazil guys... I don't belong here. This is my kind of drags.
US people: brazil got some fast cars, nice racing culture!
Brazilian people: nice to see outsiders liking our culture and the cars that race here!
Annoying Argentinians: the gol is from Argentina blah blah blah...
I lived in Johannesburg South Africa in the 80’s....
I loved figuring out what all the “weird” cars were.
At that time. There were NO international platforms...the US market shared little with the rest of the world
my thoughts too. was our own breed of drag racing,
sounds more like the international market was not dealing with sa probably due to apartheid, just speculating/
@@vargohoat9950 yeah dude we had sanctions against us till late 80s so its fact and accurate.
the chevette is one of the 1st worldwide car platforms, every continent has their on chevette hehe
Here in Argentina we got a bunch of American cars being locally-made back in the day, as the Nova, Fairlane, Dart and more (trucks too as F series, c10 etc).
In fact Latin America as a whole was always a kind of sucessfull market for American vehicles in general. Weird since they're so weird globally
First VW is called the fox, and is a budget no frills economy car.
Second and third are Polo Coupe's.
Show , Brazoca representando bonito!
American: I have a Dodge Charger
Brazilian: *GOL QUADRADO E OPALA SÓ O CANO*
Amercan: ok, I surrender
Agente tbm tem Dodge charger só que o nosso é o brasileiro
O cara achou engraça quando ele falou que o chevette vinha com motor 1.0
Mal sabe ele da nossa realidade
Like my compadre Washington said: ordinary

Wow! I didn't expect to see my cousin on this video! He's the owner of the black VW Saveiro at 6:18 (the guy wearing a hoodie). He and his friends bought the body and chassis and basically built it from there. It's an amazing car and gave them a lot of victories. That pickup is a BEAST.
I’d love to have one of those late 80’s model Chevettes.
THE FIRST CAR IS FROM ARGENTINA, IS A VW GOL 2.0L BI TURBO WITH 1600 HP AND IS THE FASTER FWD IN THE WORLD IN THAT CATEGORY 1/4 MILE 7:38@190mph 1/8 MILE 4:86@160mph. THE OWNER FROM THE CAR IS THE TEAM VITURRO SPEED.
2:26 kaddet😍😍🔥🔥🔥
Falaram muito sobre os chevettes, opalas e APs da arrancada e faltou falar dos carros mais secundários
Só faltou o Uno com escada no teto :)
In Brazil its a chevette
USA cars ???
Very cool to see a different side to racing. It was very entertaining, as well as informative.
Eu não sei vocês mas fico extremamente feliz de ser brasileiro nessas horas. É muito bom ver os estrangeiros elogiando o trabalho e o esforço do nosso povo. 1320 congrats for the video , be welcome guys.
La propaganda termina siendo el gol de viturro. Vamos Argentina nomas
Le faltó el mate en la mano a Kyle
@@ChazizMTA si tal cual jaja
