Yes, that's very cool! And Lage Lund here is opening some uncovered guitar secrets! I saw many jazz, bebop guitarist, and Lage is one of the most mystery guitarists, and if you want to study his methods, you have to be prepared for it, because it is, in my opinion, for advanced guitarists! He makes the same impression on me like Bireli Lagrene, Sylvain Luc, Rocky Gresset, Frank Vignola, Joe Pass, Jim Hall, Larry Coryell...
If you look closely enough you'll find the answer to your complaint in the complaint itself. Maybe you should spend some time learning the fretboard. I watched that video, had no trouble recreating the chord voicings or understanding the concepts and didn't even notice that there were no markings on the fretboard until I read your whiney comment.

This is great- It would be nice to see the note stacked up on the staff. Lydian sharp nine is a nice concept.

your sound is great
Master!
Spectacular.
Lage is in the upper tier of great musicians that play the guitar. He has what I call the four Ts: Tone, Taste, Technique and Timing.
Grea!!!
Sweet, another badazz guitarist giving lessons on a guitar with no fret markers.
+Eric Hanaway... Sweet, another lazy guitar player complaining about the lack of fret markers. Lage can't hold your hand & play at the same time, guy.
Apply yourself!
A derrr. Giving lessons. Make it as easy as possible for your students
