Cutting Hay 2018 | IH 3688 and New Holland 499

cibie01 New Holland is the only one I've seen with a reel like that. It was their answer to not using a cross auger on the 12' cutter bar and still being able to use 9' crushing rolls. Tha is for watching!

Right thanks for the info Mike, so i take it thats hydraulic driven i can not see any PTO to that little 2WD?.

No problem. Yes, hydraulic drive, but it's a PTO powered pump.

I have an old 495. Same as this but a side pull. It will eat material like nothing.
