how about the hidden feature where you purchase an expensive plan for an armor piece, read it, learn it and have it appear NO WHERE in the armor crafting bench. wait until you come across that feature, because caps are real easy to get, after all.
I feel the game needs a proper trade system. Maybe a special robot vendor menu that players can place items into and set a price then other players visiting these vendors can buy items. Similar to the guild bank system in ESO. Trading would be 100% better then in my opinion. trading with other players is just odd at the moment.
I'm pretty sure that's a thing, if those buildable vending machine things work like that. I don't know since I've only seen the ones out in the world and not any player made ones
I was literally thinking about that yesterday. Just an Automatron-like update. Make unkillable non-aggressive robots that act as merchants. Make them travel around the map so they can interact with other players. You'd in fact have actual player-owned NPC's, a decent fix for the current stash box limit, and a way of earning caps or obtaining rare items.
You don't have to pick a perk card for the same SPECIAL as the point you take. If you click on a special point after level up (say strength) and then use Z and C to change the filters to a different set of cards (say intelligence) you still get the special point for the special you chose, but you get the perk card for a different special (point in strength, perk in intelligence).
This is a pretty worthless feature however, as you need Special points to use the perks you choose anyway. IE: 5 points in Strength gives you 5 perk points for Strength. Picking an Intelligence card would only make you unable to use that chosen perk card. Unless I'm entirely mistaken. I was under the impression that the perk points you earned were based on the Special you chose to increase.
@@dopeoxide This is very true. I have gotten a few level locked perks early through the packs. In those cases I would see it being useful. But that's rare.
There are actually two different “Rested” bonuses when sleeping in a bed Rested (which is +5% XP for only 1 hour) is gotten from beds that are on the ground (such as mattresses and sleeping bags) Well Rested (which is +5% XP for 2 hours) is gotten from beds that have bed frames That is if I recall correctly

If any of those reading find themselves in need of help in a public place, single people it and ask for specific assistance. Or if you come across someone that looks like they might need help ask them. Then select specific bystanders and direct them to lend a hand like "call 911", "find someone who knows CPR." Otherwise, people may stand around slack jawed. These little tips can save lives.
@JuiceHead There is another lesser known feature for the game, specifically on the PC version of it. The player can change their HUD's color like previous fallouts, BUT they have to due it manually in the Fallout76Prefs.ini file. I believe there is a image on the Fallout 76 nexus detailing how to do it. I believe it was originally called, "I Did a thing", but I think the name may have been changed to: "How to change your Pipboy Hud and Light Color"

It might be better to just drop it on the ground in front of the container. I did this with a power armor chassis and some weapons and I think it might've worked. All I know is thatopther people definitely can pick things up if they're in a paper bag, but containers seem to be client side and you might be the only one to see it. (Multiple people grabbing supply caches and yet if I get there last there's still loot for me)
I do the same thing! And yes, I can confirm that other players have picked up items I've left in the Overseer's cache. (Only the Overseer's cache--any other container is unique to the player.) I leave behind all my miscellaneous ammo, chems, and food that I don't want clogging up my inventory and can't sell to all the caps-less vendors in the hope that someone else will make use of it.
@@TwoBs in a weird way its more realistic, would you repair your shoes/clothes or replace them? Times changed maybe if this was the 20s youd repair your shoes but materials and labor are cheaper than a skilled service like repairing
I'm a trader with an in game store. I have one little tip. Scrap Adhesive is listed as "excess adhesive" in your menu. You'd be surprised by how many people have told me they don't have adhesive but then suddenly do after I tell them to check their "E" section.
I was in Grafton and then iiii was told by my friend to run away I looked up and there was a nuke coming straight at me and I was over carried haha I died
You mentioned the pins on maps to mark new areas, one I found out while exploring is if you go to the top of the fire-watch towers, if you look around the balcony you'll find a spot that says "survey the area" , clicking that action will show locations in a radius around your tower and put a grey marker on the map

I like Dark humor :D. Yep I remember the time before Fallout 76 when everyone talked about how amazing and unique the npc’s where in Fallout games. Everyone always talked about how their AI would act and react like an actual human being. Oh wait until Fallout 76 barely anyone actually cares about the npc’s in Fallout games.
A few "Features?" (Mostly just tips) that I have learned while playing that I don't see everyone do. 1. Place your camp far from Vault 76. Even if you don't use your camp, throw it down. Fast travel is free for Vault 76 and your camp, so lets say your in the Forest, your camp is in the Divide, but your quest takes you to Cranberry Bog, if your camp is closer to the location you need to go, fast travel to it, and then fast travel to the location. Save some caps. 2. Always take over unclaimed workshops. You get Plans to use in your Camp, and can get at least two from taking it over. One for just claiming it, and one for defending it. About a minute or so after claiming it, you will get a quest to defend. Free loot/plans. 3. When trying to quickly level, ignore quests. Killing enemies gives way more XP. My favorite place to farm at the moment, (I'm level 67 so I don't need it, but...) Big Bend Tunnel. Lots of scorched that re-spawn fairly quickly from my experience. 4. Water Purifiers. Place them at your camp. I've currently got four running, and never worry about water, plus it sells for a decent amount. 5. Plant melons. They supply water and food, and only have a disease chance around 4. Best food/water item I've found so far, and they just keep growing. 6. Enemy Levels do scale off of your player at most further locations. I know it doesn't seem like it should be in the game, but it is. I've got a level 10 I've taken to farm where I take my level 67, everything is lower level on the level 10. 7. Before setting off a nuke (Mostly if you are nuking the Prime Fissure) check the level of players in the server. You don't want to set one off, and be the only higher level there. You've now wasted your time and launch. (Bonus, you can only set off one nuke per Silo, each week. Silos are still good for farming and offer a Legendary weapon/armor at the end of it, even if you don't set off the nuke.) If I can think of anymore things I might have missed, I will come back and edit the list.
I sprained my ankle back in highschool in the gym and not a single person decided to help me. So I took it upon myself to grab my books and limp to the nurses office. Ive always been one to help others and its just frustrating that no one was willing to help out at the time but this fun fact helped me realise why they probably didn't.
When you level and choose where to put a special point, you aren't locked in that specific special based perks. You can actually filter through each category and pick any perk you've already unlocked.

What most people don’t know, but I found out when I was watching Oxhorn. That when you drop your power amor using the drop key like for xbox, the button X so basically like the normal drop item button but at the same time when getting out of your pip-boy after you drop it between that time anybody can take it from you because the game thinks when you drop it you are giving it to someone/giving up ownership. So instead while watching Oxhorn or reading the Fallout guide it tells you to use your system’s select button to choose where you wanna drop it at your location and thus simultaneously not allowing anyone to take/giving up ownership.
Idk if a lot of other people have said this but bulking items isn't necessarily to save weight, but the only way to sell those items is to bulk them, they aren't sellable unless bulked. You'll notice you can't bulk every scrap item, only some select ones. If you can't bulk it, you can sell it on its own.
I found a slight benefit to saving level ups. I saved my 1-10 levels to do at once, and even though each perk selection is still limited to each level I got, I did get to open all the perk card packs before choosing a card. Effectively, i got to open the level 4, 6, 8, and 10 packs before choosing my level 2 perk, allowing me to minimise any accidental double ups.

An abnormally large group of people essentially watched a girl attacked twice and killed in New York. I’ve seen interviews of her family and some of the bystanders. Fascinating stuff
One of my favorite tips is, when you are in the Junk section of your inventory, sort by component (C on PC) gives you a quick look at what items contain certain components.
M orris The Excavator itself Will only go to 485 (if you have strong back and other weight perks).. If you stay in the power armor and log out and log back in either the same or different server, you get an extra 100 carry weight on top of the 100 you got before, therefore getting 585
Extra tip you can fast travel to events that you havent been to before and just go to the closest map marker to add a fast travel spot on the map for future exploration. Traveled to a lot of new areas because of that.
In CPR, 1st Responder, 1st Aid, etc. courses we are taught to assess, then point to someone in particular and TELL them to call 911. If we need room, TELL someone to keep people back. They never say it in the training session, but they're actually teaching how to take charge of a situation and get things done. That's all most people need. Someone to take charge and focus attention on what needs to be done.
One advice for fast travel. You can actually sneak and if you're hidden, you can go even with enemies around. Sometimes you have to move to the next room, but it works.
When you pick up a legendary with more than one star, ALWAYS inspect it and read the bonus perks at the top middle. Some people are throwing away very powerful weapons because they think a weapon doesn't have that "explosive" perk, or whatever perk they are looking for. Its very easy to miss unless you take the time to hit that button and inspect the weapon.
Can we all remember how Kellogg had one of the biggest and best buildups for a villain and ended up getting killed within the beginning of the storyline?

I realised I was subconsciously doing this, no idea where I picked it up, only noticed recently when I was trying to kite a deathclaw and couldn't Sprint on the reload. Really cool tip.
Another one: Vendor cap pools are shared by FACTION. Ie, all raider bots share 200 caps of inventory, all responder bots share, all of the greenbrier bots share, etc

I like the way the finding items perks work cause aside from the caps ones in the previous I would never notice if it was just a good drop or from the perk
the bulking works a small amount, but don't forget that you are also removing some of the plastic in your inventory as well when you bulk things so you will lose weight there as well.
Here is a great one that changed everything for me. You can open the map to show you directly where the next quest location is. Highlight the quest in Pip boy, and hit C, or equivalent. Check context menus on the bottom of the screen for console specifics.
Did scroll through all the comments so I don't know if it's already been mentioned but: Another advantage to "bulking" scrap is that it becomes available to sell to vendors. The exchange rate is still terrible so it's not even close to an efficient way to make money, but if you're really hard up, you can do it.
I have a tip. If you are to low level to equip power armour pieces that you find remove the pieces ,claim the armour. Put the pieces back on the frame and then wait after about 2 minutes it will be automatically pjt into your inventory with the normal power armour carry weight. (I hope this makes sense)
I have invested lots of time into the fallout 76 crafting system and figured out a theory on how it works. Each weapon mod has a percent chance to be given when scrapping, when you have a weapon with no mods unlocked it'll be all of the mod chances add to give a random outcome but when you stop getting mods you either have gotten them all or you are limited to all of the mods with a really low drop chance leaving I higher chance of getting nothing
This is kind of minor, but you can gather wood from pretty much any tree that's fallen over. It's especially useful when you need to cook or build a camp because you can get wood scraps really easily and quickly in some areas.
In regards to the weapon scrapping limit, it is more of a soft cap. As you scrap more and more weapons and unlock more things, eventually you will have a soft lock put onto that weapon type. for a while, your further weapon scraps (i'm not sure if its a certain number or just a time limit) wont provide any unlocks. I discovered it today with hunting rifles, but after a while I was able to get another attachment. Though I believe there are some that are only avaliable through plans.
Fact: You can use Z and C while selecting a perk card to get any card that is available to you. Which means you can get something like +1 perception and a strength perk card.
For sleeping: If you sleep on a sleeping bag or mattress that's just on the ground, you'll get Well Rested for 1 hour. But if you sleep in an actual bed up on a frame, you'll get Well Rested for 2 hours.
My favorite hidden feature is the one which a nuke laggs out my server and i lose my entire set of excavator power armor for absolutely no reason. So much fun ....
A great camp weight saving tip is drop your power armour frame, equip all power armour pieces. Leave the power armour for 60 seconds till it goes back in your inventory. It now weighs 10 even with all the extra pieces. Put it in your stash and it’s weighs only ten and you can take it out anytime with all pieces still on it.
It is now... I made 500+ weight on my stash (only scrap) to 100 and so. I mean. For example 30 cloth in different scrap pieces would be around 20 to 40kg, meanwhile in a bulk it's only 1,35kg. But yeah it's also a good way to get caps (specially with cloth and glass seeing how useless and normal they can be).
If you go up onto the park ranger/fire watch towers dotted around the map and walk up to the railing, you'll get an option to observe the land and it'll mark nearby locations. Sort of like the push pins on the maps at the railroad stations and other spots.
Use to only watch your vids for game info, now after watching the ending to this one. I may start watching more videos just because the info at the end is interesting.
If you want to know. You can get the MG 42 by killing a Death Claw. I found mine in the inventory from a Death Claw in the swamp. By the way. I really enjoy watching your videos!
Juice please do a video on how the player to player trading system works and how to organize trades. I feel like I am the only person who has figured this out and I am tired of teaching everyone that I need a spring from how to see what I want and what they want. With the amount of people who see your videos daily I feel like this would greatly benefit the community as this is a super helpful system that is very misunderstood. Ps. @JuiceHead You got the modifications wrong slightly, there are some mods you can't unlock by scrapping, you'll need to either find plans and craft them that way, or buy them from a vendor. they are typically the highest-end mods.
One thing I have noticed is that weapon level seems to make a difference. I had a level 10 sniper and had not found another with the same damage. Finally I found a level 20 one...same gun only difference was the level. Suddenly those lvl 20 mobs were taking more damage per shot even thought the guns had the same damage rating. So it seems weapon level does make a difference in ability to damage enemies
No! Sleeping bags give you one hour well rested bonus, beds give you TWO! Radstag meat and alcohol both give you temporary strength bonus. Firecracker berry juice gives you an increase on criticals. Inert flux works the same as water, but weights massively less. Also, I think cranberry relish increases your XP for a limited time. There are a whole lot of benefits you can get from consuming in-game food and drink. I always start my game “day” by sleeping til well rested, playing an instrument until well tuned, then consuming some food and liquids, then I then check over my gear and get ready to go out and have some fun. At the end of the game “day” I usually prepare some foodstuffs for the next day, and craft ammo and repair the weapons and armor. The rest of the time, I’m just having fun! Oh...maybe it’s cranberry cobbler. Anyway.....LOL
I agree with all of these, but the one about carrying your junk because it weighs less on you. It seems like a no-brainer, but I would rather have it take up more space in my stash than risk losing it when I die.
I can confirm the weapon mod unlocks thing. I've scrapped thousands of hunting rifles and have both the scrapper and gunsmith 5 cards. I unlock no new mods no matter how many I scrap now but I can still find new plans from vendors such as a .38 receiver for it.

If you didn't know already, you can store ALL of your fusion cores inside your power armor frame, so you won't have to lug them around weighing you down.
you can go back to bed inside the vault to get well rested before you leave and there is a guitar(or other inst) next to your bed in the vault as well so you can get both before you leave the first time
@@JuiceHead3 I am not sure then?! I had been farming for hunting rifles and then I started getting nothing and thought that I surely hadn't unlocked everything. it did cross my mind that maybe the level of the gun makes a difference (if you are lvl 20 then maybe gun has to be lvl10^ for example)
@@JuiceHead3 also maybe it's just to stop people getting all the stronger mods straight away (hunting rifles are very common for example if you always got a mod it wouldnt take long to get every mod if you set your mind to it). So maybe the mods you get aren't 100% random like the first 20 are low-mid power then after that it reduces the chance for the high power ones.
I think it also might have a cooldown of some sort associated with it. I scrapped a ton of hunting rifles in the beta and after release. Stopped grabbing them after I stopped getting mods. Grabbed two hunting rifles today for reasons and scrapped them while cleaning inventory and both gave me new mods. I could have just been lucky I suppose. Or, maybe because they were higher lvl hunting rifles they drew from a larger mod pool?
If you happen to make a third '10 Hidden Things' video, you may want to add the secret hacking actions that were inherited from earlier Fallout games. What's this? While hacking a terminal, you look for matching pairs of symbols on a single line of code, namely [ ], < >, and { }. These symbols will generally have random symbols in the middle of the pairs, and can be nested inside each other, For example { % < ! |[ % ] | > % } is three sets. What does this do? It does one of two things, either removing dud passwords or resets the number of tries left.

the Rested and Tuned buffs have two different buffs, Rested and Well Rested, and tuned and well tuned. the normal one lasting for 1 hour the "well" version lasting for 2 hours. from what i found it depends on the instrument you use and the bed you sleep in
About the whole weapon mods through scrapping thing, i've scrapped a ton of hunting rifles and unlocked many of its mods but i noticed that not every time i scrapped i'd end up getting a mod unlocked but then a later scrap would unlock another. It kinda felt like a roulette wheel with all available mods in each spot but they'd slowly be removed as i unlocked more and more and i'd get a chance to get nothing after a certain point.
Can anyone else confirm the bulk weight thing? Now I'm getting mixed reports, but it worked for me (?)

Launched a nuke yesterday and it was amazing watching it. Almost all of the server watched the nuke fall. It was beautiful.

You mentioned the pins on maps to mark new areas, one I found out while exploring is if you go to the top of the fire-watch towers, if you look around the balcony you'll find a spot that says "survey the area" , clicking that action will show locations in a radius around your tower and put a grey marker on the map
so many melee players and bethesda decided to take out the Melee executions

A few "Features?" (Mostly just tips) that I have learned while playing that I don't see everyone do.
1. Place your camp far from Vault 76. Even if you don't use your camp, throw it down. Fast travel is free for Vault 76 and your camp, so lets say your in the Forest, your camp is in the Divide, but your quest takes you to Cranberry Bog, if your camp is closer to the location you need to go, fast travel to it, and then fast travel to the location. Save some caps.
2. Always take over unclaimed workshops. You get Plans to use in your Camp, and can get at least two from taking it over. One for just claiming it, and one for defending it. About a minute or so after claiming it, you will get a quest to defend. Free loot/plans.
3. When trying to quickly level, ignore quests. Killing enemies gives way more XP. My favorite place to farm at the moment, (I'm level 67 so I don't need it, but...) Big Bend Tunnel. Lots of scorched that re-spawn fairly quickly from my experience.
4. Water Purifiers. Place them at your camp. I've currently got four running, and never worry about water, plus it sells for a decent amount.
5. Plant melons. They supply water and food, and only have a disease chance around 4. Best food/water item I've found so far, and they just keep growing.
6. Enemy Levels do scale off of your player at most further locations. I know it doesn't seem like it should be in the game, but it is. I've got a level 10 I've taken to farm where I take my level 67, everything is lower level on the level 10.
7. Before setting off a nuke (Mostly if you are nuking the Prime Fissure) check the level of players in the server. You don't want to set one off, and be the only higher level there. You've now wasted your time and launch. (Bonus, you can only set off one nuke per Silo, each week. Silos are still good for farming and offer a Legendary weapon/armor at the end of it, even if you don't set off the nuke.)
If I can think of anymore things I might have missed, I will come back and edit the list.
I sprained my ankle back in highschool in the gym and not a single person decided to help me. So I took it upon myself to grab my books and limp to the nurses office. Ive always been one to help others and its just frustrating that no one was willing to help out at the time but this fun fact helped me realise why they probably didn't.
When you level and choose where to put a special point, you aren't locked in that specific special based perks. You can actually filter through each category and pick any perk you've already unlocked.

What most people don’t know, but I found out when I was watching Oxhorn. That when you drop your power amor using the drop key like for xbox, the button X so basically like the normal drop item button but at the same time when getting out of your pip-boy after you drop it between that time anybody can take it from you because the game thinks when you drop it you are giving it to someone/giving up ownership. So instead while watching Oxhorn or reading the Fallout guide it tells you to use your system’s select button to choose where you wanna drop it at your location and thus simultaneously not allowing anyone to take/giving up ownership.

First place I come to for everything Fallout related. He puts in the time and does it all!!
Idk if a lot of other people have said this but bulking items isn't necessarily to save weight, but the only way to sell those items is to bulk them, they aren't sellable unless bulked. You'll notice you can't bulk every scrap item, only some select ones. If you can't bulk it, you can sell it on its own.
I found a slight benefit to saving level ups. I saved my 1-10 levels to do at once, and even though each perk selection is still limited to each level I got, I did get to open all the perk card packs before choosing a card. Effectively, i got to open the level 4, 6, 8, and 10 packs before choosing my level 2 perk, allowing me to minimise any accidental double ups.
when you start the game you wake up but you're not well rested. there just happens to be a guitar right there near the bed

An abnormally large group of people essentially watched a girl attacked twice and killed in New York. I’ve seen interviews of her family and some of the bystanders. Fascinating stuff
One of my favorite tips is, when you are in the Junk section of your inventory, sort by component (C on PC) gives you a quick look at what items contain certain components.
Here's a tip: The combination of Excavator Power Armor and Molerat Chunks is bugged and gives you a +100 carryweight bonus.
I R Kazper No, it's not a bug. If you were the whole set of Excavator Power armor, you get +100 Power Armor.
M orris The Excavator itself Will only go to 485 (if you have strong back and other weight perks).. If you stay in the power armor and log out and log back in either the same or different server, you get an extra 100 carry weight on top of the 100 you got before, therefore getting 585
Extra tip you can fast travel to events that you havent been to before and just go to the closest map marker to add a fast travel spot on the map for future exploration. Traveled to a lot of new areas because of that.
In CPR, 1st Responder, 1st Aid, etc. courses we are taught to assess, then point to someone in particular and TELL them to call 911. If we need room, TELL someone to keep people back. They never say it in the training session, but they're actually teaching how to take charge of a situation and get things done. That's all most people need. Someone to take charge and focus attention on what needs to be done.
One advice for fast travel. You can actually sneak and if you're hidden, you can go even with enemies around. Sometimes you have to move to the next room, but it works.
When you pick up a legendary with more than one star, ALWAYS inspect it and read the bonus perks at the top middle. Some people are throwing away very powerful weapons because they think a weapon doesn't have that "explosive" perk, or whatever perk they are looking for. Its very easy to miss unless you take the time to hit that button and inspect the weapon.
Can we all remember how Kellogg had one of the biggest and best buildups for a villain and ended up getting killed within the beginning of the storyline?

If you melee after shooting a bullet from a hunting rifle it will skip the rechamber but not a reload
I realised I was subconsciously doing this, no idea where I picked it up, only noticed recently when I was trying to kite a deathclaw and couldn't Sprint on the reload. Really cool tip.
Another one: Vendor cap pools are shared by FACTION. Ie, all raider bots share 200 caps of inventory, all responder bots share, all of the greenbrier bots share, etc

I like the way the finding items perks work cause aside from the caps ones in the previous I would never notice if it was just a good drop or from the perk
the bulking works a small amount, but don't forget that you are also removing some of the plastic in your inventory as well when you bulk things so you will lose weight there as well.

What I love about fallout 76 is how it created an actual trading market. You can buy black market stimpacks for 5-10 caps instead of 75 lol.
Here is a great one that changed everything for me. You can open the map to show you directly where the next quest location is. Highlight the quest in Pip boy, and hit C, or equivalent. Check context menus on the bottom of the screen for console specifics.
Did scroll through all the comments so I don't know if it's already been mentioned but: Another advantage to "bulking" scrap is that it becomes available to sell to vendors. The exchange rate is still terrible so it's not even close to an efficient way to make money, but if you're really hard up, you can do it.

I have a tip. If you are to low level to equip power armour pieces that you find remove the pieces ,claim the armour. Put the pieces back on the frame and then wait after about 2 minutes it will be automatically pjt into your inventory with the normal power armour carry weight. (I hope this makes sense)
I have invested lots of time into the fallout 76 crafting system and figured out a theory on how it works. Each weapon mod has a percent chance to be given when scrapping, when you have a weapon with no mods unlocked it'll be all of the mod chances add to give a random outcome but when you stop getting mods you either have gotten them all or you are limited to all of the mods with a really low drop chance leaving I higher chance of getting nothing
This is kind of minor, but you can gather wood from pretty much any tree that's fallen over. It's especially useful when you need to cook or build a camp because you can get wood scraps really easily and quickly in some areas.
The other day, at level 9 I walked into Grafton to find seventeen people fighting one level 53 guy with a 200 cap bounty on his head.
You know what, have a sub for producing positive 76 content in a sea of people cashing in on outrage culture.
In regards to the weapon scrapping limit, it is more of a soft cap. As you scrap more and more weapons and unlock more things, eventually you will have a soft lock put onto that weapon type. for a while, your further weapon scraps (i'm not sure if its a certain number or just a time limit) wont provide any unlocks. I discovered it today with hunting rifles, but after a while I was able to get another attachment. Though I believe there are some that are only avaliable through plans.
Fact:
You can use Z and C while selecting a perk card to get any card that is available to you. Which means you can get something like +1 perception and a strength perk card.
For sleeping:
If you sleep on a sleeping bag or mattress that's just on the ground, you'll get Well Rested for 1 hour.
But if you sleep in an actual bed up on a frame, you'll get Well Rested for 2 hours.
My favorite hidden feature is the one which a nuke laggs out my server and i lose my entire set of excavator power armor for absolutely no reason. So much fun ....
A great camp weight saving tip is drop your power armour frame, equip all power armour pieces. Leave the power armour for 60 seconds till it goes back in your inventory. It now weighs 10 even with all the extra pieces. Put it in your stash and it’s weighs only ten and you can take it out anytime with all pieces still on it.
Don't forget to load it up with Fusion Cores. Each one weighs 3 pounds, reduced to 0 once on the Frame.

I made 500+ weight on my stash (only scrap) to 100 and so.
I mean.
For example 30 cloth in different scrap pieces would be around 20 to 40kg, meanwhile in a bulk it's only 1,35kg.
But yeah it's also a good way to get caps (specially with cloth and glass seeing how useless and normal they can be).
If you go up onto the park ranger/fire watch towers dotted around the map and walk up to the railing, you'll get an option to observe the land and it'll mark nearby locations. Sort of like the push pins on the maps at the railroad stations and other spots.

Juice please do a video on how the player to player trading system works and how to organize trades. I feel like I am the only person who has figured this out and I am tired of teaching everyone that I need a spring from how to see what I want and what they want. With the amount of people who see your videos daily I feel like this would greatly benefit the community as this is a super helpful system that is very misunderstood. Ps. @JuiceHead You got the modifications wrong slightly, there are some mods you can't unlock by scrapping, you'll need to either find plans and craft them that way, or buy them from a vendor. they are typically the highest-end mods.

One thing I have noticed is that weapon level seems to make a difference. I had a level 10 sniper and had not found another with the same damage. Finally I found a level 20 one...same gun only difference was the level. Suddenly those lvl 20 mobs were taking more damage per shot even thought the guns had the same damage rating. So it seems weapon level does make a difference in ability to damage enemies

No! Sleeping bags give you one hour well rested bonus, beds give you TWO!
Radstag meat and alcohol both give you temporary strength bonus.
Firecracker berry juice gives you an increase on criticals.
Inert flux works the same as water, but weights massively less.
Also, I think cranberry relish increases your XP for a limited time.
There are a whole lot of benefits you can get from consuming in-game food and drink.
I always start my game “day” by sleeping til well rested, playing an instrument until well tuned, then consuming some food and liquids, then I then check over my gear and get ready to go out and have some fun. At the end of the game “day” I usually prepare some foodstuffs for the next day, and craft ammo and repair the weapons and armor. The rest of the time, I’m just having fun!
Oh...maybe it’s cranberry cobbler. Anyway.....LOL
I agree with all of these, but the one about carrying your junk because it weighs less on you. It seems like a no-brainer, but I would rather have it take up more space in my stash than risk losing it when I die.
Also you can get the well rested and well tuned from the beginning, in your vault apartment there is a bed and a guitar.

I can confirm the weapon mod unlocks thing. I've scrapped thousands of hunting rifles and have both the scrapper and gunsmith 5 cards. I unlock no new mods no matter how many I scrap now but I can still find new plans from vendors such as a .38 receiver for it.

For weapon mods, when you scrap basic weapons you get basic mods. Try scrapping weapons with a star next to them. They unlock higher level mods.
If you didn't know already, you can store ALL of your fusion cores inside your power armor frame, so you won't have to lug them around weighing you down.
you can go back to bed inside the vault to get well rested before you leave and there is a guitar(or other inst) next to your bed in the vault as well so you can get both before you leave the first time
If you keep scrapping it doesn't stop giving you mods it just massively reduces the chance of discovering a mod
I've had this happen with the bolt action rifle it does give one just maybe every 2-3 scraps

@@JuiceHead3 I am not sure then?! I had been farming for hunting rifles and then I started getting nothing and thought that I surely hadn't unlocked everything. it did cross my mind that maybe the level of the gun makes a difference (if you are lvl 20 then maybe gun has to be lvl10^ for example)
@@JuiceHead3 also maybe it's just to stop people getting all the stronger mods straight away (hunting rifles are very common for example if you always got a mod it wouldnt take long to get every mod if you set your mind to it). So maybe the mods you get aren't 100% random like the first 20 are low-mid power then after that it reduces the chance for the high power ones.
I think it also might have a cooldown of some sort associated with it. I scrapped a ton of hunting rifles in the beta and after release. Stopped grabbing them after I stopped getting mods. Grabbed two hunting rifles today for reasons and scrapped them while cleaning inventory and both gave me new mods.
I could have just been lucky I suppose. Or, maybe because they were higher lvl hunting rifles they drew from a larger mod pool?
If you happen to make a third '10 Hidden Things' video, you may want to add the secret hacking actions that were inherited from earlier Fallout games. What's this? While hacking a terminal, you look for matching pairs of symbols on a single line of code, namely [ ], < >, and { }. These symbols will generally have random symbols in the middle of the pairs, and can be nested inside each other, For example { % < ! |[ % ] | > % } is three sets. What does this do? It does one of two things, either removing dud passwords or resets the number of tries left.

the Rested and Tuned buffs have two different buffs, Rested and Well Rested, and tuned and well tuned. the normal one lasting for 1 hour the "well" version lasting for 2 hours. from what i found it depends on the instrument you use and the bed you sleep in

I watched this expecting to know it all already, but I admit, I had ZERO clue you had to press spacebar on boxes to use the perk bonuses.
About the whole weapon mods through scrapping thing, i've scrapped a ton of hunting rifles and unlocked many of its mods but i noticed that not every time i scrapped i'd end up getting a mod unlocked but then a later scrap would unlock another. It kinda felt like a roulette wheel with all available mods in each spot but they'd slowly be removed as i unlocked more and more and i'd get a chance to get nothing after a certain point.
