Makes me sad to watch this because he was obviously struggling to keep his life together and remain relevant. I think he still has a lot going on inside and intellectually but the medications & drugs most definitely took the ultimate toll on him and his spirit. I think from all the interviews I've seen that he started to resent and detest being forced to tour. A number of tour dates were cancelled due to low ticket sales and that along with everything else combined slowly took his life. We should remember Scott Weiland as a great front man, musician, performing artist & writer. RIP.

Absolutely, alsothe 60 grand pper month due for child support kept him from ever having the time. This is a deep, tragic loss. Lastly, our society treats the disease of addiction atrociously. (Oh the pain. The indescribable, all encompassing depths of the mind.) Love

Has anyone noticed that Cross is a great interviewer? He asks a question and then "shuts the f@ck up" and lets the artist answer. And you know that can't be easy with that brain he has. Thanks for that Allan.

R.I.P Scott Weiland. So sad to see that he's NEVER smiling, ever.

He had a beautiful, genuine smile. It just seemed to disappear over the years. The last year was the worst. He seemed so joyless. I think there must have been a lot of suffering there.

interesting how she said alive or dead....and Scott said; "David Bowie"
.....and they both were dead within a few weeks of each other.

Too bad he couldn't have been straight during the interview, self destruction..just terrible.....and the demise of Velvet Revolver..what a MAGNIFICANT band! Saw the New Year's Eve in NJ..they kicked major arse! I hope he finds help before he kills himself....

Was the Christmas album ever actually released? I love what I have heard. As much as I adore Scott, (and I really REALLY do), this interview was just killing me. Where is the charisma and LIFE? If it weren't so bad, I would like to give him a couple of lines of quality coke just so he would wake the fuck up and show some enthusiasm...SOMETHING! He sounds like he is on Methadone. p.s. The clothes look nice, but they are basically men's stuff worn on lovely girls.

Wow! He sounds like he's on Methadone. Shoot! It's amazing he can get through a sentence. Still an amazing and bright man. Hope he gets off this shit. It's a killer too and can be just as bad or worse than heroine.

I can do without Scott Weiland as a singer. I think Velvet Revolver could do better with a singer with a stronger voice. Compare Scott to Axl Rose on the Spaghetti Incident and you will know what I mean.
