Hard facts!
@Bernie Sanders DId you know bernie cant pay his own workers living wages? Why does bernie need 3 houses? And all those millions?
This is the animal kingdom, you can't just walk away, do or die.
I like that quote.
What a beautiful specimen. He looks like the final boss in an epic video game battle.
Love your videos, Rob!!! 🖤
With the scars on his nose and the top/bottom of him, I think it's much more likely he got trapped in something. Propeller damage that would cause that many injuries on all sides of his body would have killed him.
Thanks for this man, keep up the good work mayne.
Probably some scars from seals but mostly from other great white sharks especially bigger females because females are bigger than males because of their reproductive system so they have to be bigger to have shark pups
GREAT WHITE - "You Should See The Other Guy"
My wild guess is the other guy was a giant squid and is currently located in his stomach.
@@BugMagnet naah, probably some orcas had fun with him
He got hit like I got hit but he ain’t f**king swimming….
That dude has been fighting for respect his entire life!
What the hell has this old boy been through?
I've never seen a more battered and scarred great white.
A real veteran I guess.
raked but no fins missing or large chunks taken out
My guess would be caught in a net at some point
I would like to know
When sharks mate, the male bites the sides to hold on while knocking up the female, usually tiring out the female, leaving other males to come and knock her up some more, thus causing more biting amd scaring.
@@Exotic-P so what you’re saying is this old boy is somebody’s bitch?
Thank you everyone for your comments, he is a beautiful shark that has survived some tough times. I feel the best guess as to what has happened to him so far is either a large boat propeller incident, or caught in a large tuna pen which apparently can be a common occurrence. However i did notice during some of his close passes while filming that there seemed to be old, new and newer scars that are similar. Unfortunately i doubt we will ever know for sure what has caused these wounds. One other consensus is some of the scars are from scraping on the reef, and possibly involved in predation on animals like Sting Rays. They are certainly not from Orca or mating. Enjoy the footage :)
I don't think those are prop scars, i've seen prop scars on many different animals and these haven't hot the evenness of prop scars. He looks like he's a pointer with attitude and doesn't give way to larger pointers and as you'd know that has consequences
Maybe giant squid?
@@evanhamaker this! This looks like squid marks as if it had been feasting on squid but had to earn the battle scars in order to feast on the squid?
Were there any shots of the left side of its body?
@@mombaassa glimpse by 0:42
My God, whatever that big boy went through, apparently many times since there are old and new similar scars, to then make a come back and recover is amazing, what an amazing footage.
Sharks have massive layers of fat and very fast healing. It's more the amount of scars which is abnormal, the scars themselves look pretty common and not life threatening at all
Fish: The hell happened to you?
Shark: *NEVER GO TO AMITY ISLAND!!!*
"Marthas Vineyard"
Looks like he just did 20years at the bottom of the ocean and just got out, hopefully he stays out of trouble lol
Wonder wtf happened to him?
Breeding??
That is really good lol.
Just a few prison tats
He looks like Biden after the next election vs Trump 2024. All scarred up and beat to hell, wandering around aimlessly in circles.......
I bet this fella has some stories to tell!

That poor shark. It sure shows how resilient he is though, pretty inspiring actually.
A long, old, soul of the sea…a truly gorgeous fish, even with all the battle scars…
Even with the battle scars. Because of the battle scars
Yes, he's fabulous
That's a war veteran right there! Looks like he's been in fights with a thousand other sharks and about 27 boat propellers.
- What happened?
- "I fought the propeller.... He ran away..."
What a fantastic creature. You've got to feel sorry for whatever he's been through. Sharks are amazing beautiful animals and deserve a whole lot more respect than most humans give them.
No, i don't feel sorry for him. It's life.
@@govie100 you're ard
I'm sure most people respect them enough
wtf? wake up man...
@@jaisondallabona4020 he clearly is awake, which is why he can see how sharks actually are. It's you who probably needs to wake up
Poor old guy and he's still chugging along. What a survivor.
Yeah they have a really good healing ability, no wonder I guess, to survive all that.
Even though orcas outrank great whites as top predators, your average white shark is a very tough animal.
Truly spectacular. Absolute Apex predators, look at those battle scars
Not trying to argue but THE apex predator is the Orca. There is literally NOTHING in the ocean they can’t kill and that’s not afraid of them. Seals, Sharks even freaking blue whales are on their menu like??
This guy is obviously a real fighter. RESPECT!!!
Scarred up as he is, that's a badass looking Shark
Boss
Wow I've never seen a Great White with so many scars! Still a very beautiful animal
This would be the "Great White Mickey Rourke..."
🦈
Falling apart.
Holy shit, that is one battle-hardened SOB!
What a beautiful animal..truly stunning and mesmerizing. Those scars tell a story that we can only guess.
He looks so badass with his scars. Dem shark ladies be begging for more !

There is so much beauty in this footage, the sheer, raw power to survive. Mental scars probably run deeper, but still it has become or it has remained a gentle giant. Spectacular. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
This Great White is the epitome of survivalist.....scarred to the max, none his injuries are recent, the small fishes who travel with him have no new bits to pick off.....and he has stopped producing replacement teeth....this is an "Old" warrior of the ocean...I am privileged, thanx to you , to see this. I also see this guy lives where I live, SA....I hope he's still around, Neptune Island is way off the coast between KI and Port Lincoln......divers, if you encounter him....give him a fish.
A warrior. At his age I'm sure he's had run ins with orcas. These sharks go deep when this happens, luckily for them mammals need to surface.
Love this so much. GWS are such amazing animals! Cage Diving False Bay and getting to see 3 different sharks is one of my life highlights!
Looks like its been petted by Edward scissor hands
🤣🤣🤣
Once i saw the footage of this magnificent creature and how calm it was with all the battle damage she has sustained...it goes to show how all creatures can appreciate life given it has survived for so long...
looks like someone who has experience about everything
‘been there, done that’
so he explored all of Tyria
When I see this guy coming I cross to the other side of the ocean! What a beautiful beast!! Glad he was able to survive whatever caused those scars. Hope he is able to keep on surviving & thriving for much longer!
Those markings are also seen on many sharks that have tussled with a giant squid. Yes, it's heard to believe, but great whites will go after giant squid from time to time. Looks like this old boy has had a tussle with more then a few in his time. That is a male great white maybe 8-15 years old (could be wrong). If you look some of the deep scratches are on his belly. Also a very good sign of Giant squid tentacle wrapping around him. Giant squid have very sharp hooks in each of the suckers or suction cups, different biologists have different names for them sorry. It is these hooks that can cause these deep scratches in the shark as it fights to get free of the squids grasp. Marine biologist here by the way!!
That is what I was saying.
Either propeller blades, fishing net, or giant squid.
For sake of my hope in humanity, I will say giant squid.
Wow, this poor guy’s been thru some wars, good lord. Never seen a white so scarred. There’s scarring on both sides, tho the right is much worse. Such beautiful footage of Rambo, lol.
Heftig... wie viele Verletzungen dieser wunderschöne Weiße Hai abbekommen hat.
Ein wunder das der so groß geworden ist und noch am Leben...
Haie sind so Wundervolle Tiere 🧡🧡🧡
thanks for the absolutely brilliant footage! I really hope people find love and respect for these creatures before they disappear.
Just watching these kinds of videos just makes me appreciate nature everyday the world is so fascinating. I would definitely enjoy seeing this in person
“Think this is bad?...you should see the other guy!”
I've never seen so many scars on something still alive! One tough shark.
What an absolutely stunning animal. Thanks for sharing this footage.
Fish net war scars. He’s actually a very placid shark.
Save a shark and write your government representative and ban large net trawl and drift net fishing. The “ walls of death” threatened many species into extinction.
Fantastic 👏
Not an aggressive shark , very chilled.
Yes looks more like an escaped entanglement. What a warrior 😍
Who could ever scare this badass
This one definitely looks it had some battle scars.
Unbelievable footage ! This Great white shark is particular...
Great video. Thank you so much for this beautiful footage.
This Shark is clearly not afraid of anything if he has damage like that to him
Tony Montana of Sharks.
Amazing footage an incredible testament to the fortitude of sharks
This big guy has definitely proven that life can knock u down but he gets right back up and keeps moving forward no matter how much it hurts or how much he wants to give up. He's proven he's the baddest of the bad, the toughest of the tough. He keeps moving forward no matter what. He's overcome some pretty serious things in his life. This shark should be respected not feared.
really beautiful falls short as an adjective
Fantastic footage, indeed. But I agree, I've never seen so many scars on a great white; this fighter is badly worn out. The very last wild predator that humans couldn't tame or imprison in a tank.
The real OG of the Deep! Great footage my guy!
Beautiful old boy! Such great strength & grace. Majestic beast has been thru so much. Hopefully he's not in pain & flourishes. 🦈
He’s like the Rambo of sharks, female? I’m a GW junky and I’ve never seen anything quite this, the entire body from head to toe with such huge scars, seem to be healing though, interesting what the marine biologist have to say.... Cheers💚🍀🤙🏽🏄🏻♂️
It's male, he has the claspers.
Shark: you should see the other fish.
Other fish: *is liquified*
Awww the little fish swim next to him like they're friends haha
Incredible footage, Bravo 👏!
He got into a fight with a grizzly bear. The bear lost.
This thing has been caught on a long line and probably set free...the hole on the right side of his face looks like the hook injury...sharks will often spin around trying to get free and get caught up...a big fella like this could have snapped the line and unwound its self...(ex long line shark fisherman out of Darwin)
yes the way the scarring is all going round in the same direction makes your theory very likely.
That would be right I reckon. His chin has longitudinal scars and his body has a spiral twist. Amazing!
Stunning footage...
He is magnificent...rather beautiful really...his life being worn for all to see...🇿🇦
He's so beautiful! Stunning video!
this guy has definitely been inside a sharknado
Lmao
I feel for this poor boy, what happened to him!
Propeller boats
What an extraordinary animal, great footage.
I know! I love heeem sooo much. I feel so bad for him. Bless his heart! Thanks for recognizing these beautiful creatures.
That looks like one tough S O B
Cool footage... what a story he (the shark) could tell.
What's up with the description, seems like a weird ramble to me. :)
The description is just a rambling of key search words, trying to feed into the algorithm so it will get recommended to more people.
It’s really for their benefit at that point, not ours.
Hold my breath. The most beautiful shark I have ever seen
He sure is a stunner ❤🦈 what a beautiful video 😍
This badass DEFINITELY grew up with the alphas in a tough 'hood! 🧡
I've never seen such a slashed up white pointer that's still got it's fins intact. From close study of this footage, time after time, pausing on key moments, I'm quite sure that this 20 year-old male (note gender) has been caught up in a tuna net. Bear in mind this footage is from South Australia: you have to take into consideration the likely migration routes this boy is familiar with, and there's usually two options. The first involves travelling to the left of S.A., around the Great Australian Bight, then up the West Australia coast to an area around Broome. Alternatively, they'll head right, travelling around the SA coast taking in the south-east, swinging into Victoria where the coast is extremely rugged & has notoriously swift, swirling currents. A choice is made: up the Eastern Seaboard into New South Wales & Queensland, or over the Tasman Straits to New Zealand.
All along these journeys, there's a multitude of perils for sharks but one of the worst is the tuna farms. They get into the netted areas, gorge themselves silly & can't escape. There's also the threat of humans who aren't too happy about the presence of a mature white shark: some of those older wounds look suspiciously like gaff hooks.
Quite a courageous battler it appears.
@Sean Price I have studied the various patterns upon the shark's body for clues as to the origin of his woes, returning to the video at different times when considering a new option.
Giant squids - as formidable an opponent as they are - leave readily identifiable calling-cards in the shape of 5cm (average diameter) suction cups with their serrations ensuring the hundreds of duplications along the eight arms and two tentacles will be a permanent reminder of their interaction.
I don't see any evidence of a tussle between them, but cheers for reminding me of this fascinating story.
@Sean Price Squids don't leave slash marks like that, they leave ring-shaped sucker marks, mostly around the mouth as smaller individuals fall prey to great whites
💯… it’s done that a few times as well by returning for food , hence the different stages of scarring healing.
Wow...that's life!...U bend but don't break...he knows how to get out then jams.
Espectacular, buen trabajo. Es hermoso!!!
0:43 That wound on his side almost looks like drag marks from an upper jaw lined with a huge row of teeth... But what could have jaws that big?
Damn, And I thought I've had it rough.
Such a great and majestic creature!
I think that's the first time I genuinely really felt ' sorry ' for a shark !! Poor old bugger ! But, he is a serious badass and what a survivor !! A tracking camera on him would be really revealing !! 👍🦈
Did this shark bumped into Chuck Norris's beard or something?
🤣🤣
Best comment I’ve read on UA-cam today lol take a bow chap
Looks like he was tangled in some kind of lines.
and no one ever saw those lines every again.

"So please, ladies and gentlemen, if you stop throwing rubbish into the ocean, old Bruce here will calm down and stop cutting himself. This is a message from Neptune Island shark rehab. Thank you."
This shark would look better with a few teardrop tattoos, some spiderwebs on the..elbow flippers, a real badass OG this shark needs some inkwork to represent his squad. But you can tell this is like a Charles Bronson kind of shark, you know? A lone wolf shark who is out for justice with extreme prejudice, am I right ?

HOLY CRAP!!! Man he’s got some wounds for sure!!! Wonder how old he is and what exactly did happen to him to get all these wounds?? Wow!!! And still quite majestic!!!
