I would like to thank you from the whole of my heart for doing this. My donation isnt too much but I unfortunately cannot afford much more so I hope it at least helps you improve the channel or goes towards a distressed victim. Thanks again, Dim
Hindi people are beautiful wonderful people from a beautiful ancient culture yet these scammers give the whole of their society a bad name. This sort of thing drives racism and what you are doing is truly a service to the internet community.
My dad was scammed just 2 days ago. He had already sent the cash, but thankfully I know someone with ups that was able to stop the package before it was delivered. I knew exactly what was going on because of your channel. Thank you.
Actually they love victimizing old people because they're not that knowledgeable with these stuff or it makes them panic easily. That's why if you have elderly people at home, better to guide them
Strange that it wonders you so much. What kind of artificial guarded world do you live in, that you cant believe in so widespred thing. Its basically theft. And its not the worst human sin. There are man made famine, child prostitution, genocide, slavery...Its not a good idea to be so naive. And thats why thing like scamming happens. Ecpecially romance scamming. These who were treated well and never knew any big sorrows, have a tendency to think, that the whole world is pink and blue.
Prevention would be even better, although that would put Pierogi out of work. If we can just educate people against these blood sucking parasites, they will have to find something else to do
I so want to see him take that one more step: a low jacked Xlite SoftPhone (the app the scammers use to send/receive calls from their computer). Xlite is open source (for the most part). It wouldn't be difficult to just have it filter highly targeted countries (US, AU, UK, etc.), then encrypt and upload the number to a cloud server Pierogi's people monitor. They'd get every number the scammer called or was-called-by in real-time. I'm confident it is also illegal, because it's basically an unwarranted remedial wire-tap, but I wouldn't expect any charges filed (at least not from these colostomy bags).
That poor old lady broke my heart. So confused. Even when you're saying it's a scam, the emotional impact it had on her still made her think she might have to call her bank. The fact there is someone like you going out to save these people is incredible but also shows that there is a massive void in the policing of our society. Scams are just not taken seriously enough and there needs to be a lot more done to combat this problem. You have my respect and gratitude for each and every victim you rescue from these scams.
I agree, it is a pity they are targeting vulnerable people. Also if she did end up calling her bank, it is good. When in doubt just call your bank anyways. They can check and make sure. And if you are the one who initiated the call to your bank, at least you can be sure it is not a scammer you're talking to. That being said, people need to be aware of Google ads. Sometimes if you Google for a specific problem or phone number, scammers have an ad showing up in the first position. So it is best to go directly to the banks website and retrieve the number if you don't have it saved already.
What we need in the countries where these scammers are targeting victims is for the government to stop any and all aid being given to India. The aid will not be restored until the Indian government cracks down on these criminal enterprises and shuts them down. It is ridiculous that countries give aid while scammers are allowed to operate and steal from citizens whose taxes are paid to help India. Then, maybe, the government of India will do something to stop this.
I work at a customer service desk and a woman wanted to buy a $500 gift card for target ...because of so many scams we have to ask the hard questions...have you been contacted through email and by a phone call...she was contacted through paypal...I told her to go to the police and report them ...I love the work you do to stop people from being scammed you are an inspiration to me to do the same thing 💗
Good you ask the hard questions when selling larger amounts of gift cards! This is a great place to filter such things. I would never be put-off while buying gift cards if there was an extra layer of "were you contacted by phone or email to buy these cards?" Should be standard procedure.
Hello all, I have revealed some of money scammers on my channel too, I would like to invite you all to have a look and show some support to the channel.. Have a nice day..!
I am hooked on watching you deal with these scammers. I am 76 years old and unfortunately, I was taken by a phone scammer. Thankfully, the amount taken was hurtful and I had to accept it. Police were unable to help which is not unusual. Unfortunately, I was having medical issues and was an easy target. You are helping so many people. Thank you for what you are doing.
I am so sorry this happened to you. It is not unusual for the police nor the bank to not help. My great-aunt had £1000 taken when she was around the same age as you. She was so ashamed; it took her six months before she told any of our family. Thankfully, she has sons and grandsons who are in the tech industry and gave her lowdowns on what to do.
Intercepting the scammers victims mid-call is the best thing I've seen, I'm glad the algorithm decided to show me your videos. Thank you for all that you and your colleagues do.
I work in a major international bank and we see the results of this all the time and it's heartbreaking. People lose thousands of dollars all the time. Life savings gone. Social security gone. The scammers have no empathy and no regard for anyone. Thank you for warning the victims. You are factually saving innocent people from poverty and hardship. If something doesn't seem right, call your bank with the number on the back of your debit card immediately!
@@wbbb2 unfortunately that's not really an option. Not all scammers are based in India, and India is a huge country with a lot of people in it, and a lot of people make perfectly legitimate transfers to India every day. Also, wire transfers are no longer the primary way scammers steal money. One of the most frequent ones are gift card purchases done with cash or debit cards.
@@DaneInTheUS we recently paid money instead of receiving. Pur government warned us from ukrianian scammers, but these that cheated on us were from Lithuania 😢
This is organized crime and officials within governments from around the world are profiting off this which is why the scammers are allowed to operate so freely. I hope you never stop this channel. I advocate for men’s mental health and personally, I watch your videos daily as my “background noise”, for work and home task. Love this stuff lol
Based on watching your videos, hearing the scammers' scripts, and how URLs are altered, helped me to recognize my husband being scammed when I came into the house. I jumped up and down, yelling scam, scam! The scammers were still on the phone with him. He had given them access to his computer and his business credit card number. We canceled the credit card charge and I uninstalled the remote view program by doing a deep scan. Thank you very much for the work that you and your colleagues do. I do want to repay your wonderful service by making a small donation, but don't want the monthly subscription. I'll look into how to do that! With gratitude and respect!

@@Freshest_Water You just helped people. I love seeing how pumped you get when you get a victim on the line and save them from getting scammed. What a rush that must be! You are doing so much good and the creation of The People’s Call Center amplified that by a thousand percent. The scam baiter community is awesome.
It’s crazy that even after the girl learnt that it was a scam, she still felt the need to give an excuse like “I need to go walk my dog” to get off the phone. It’s interesting to see how much they manipulate that, but sickening to hear the real voices of actual victims
actually a good move, she doesn't know if they are just two blocks away .but they now know she has a dog (or not)and it could be a small dog or a big dog, pretty intelligent from the lady
So I just got a call from a scam caller and about midway through their opening line I just kept saying “scammer payback” over and over. I made it to the start of the third “scammer payback” and heard her mumble expletives in a VERY irritated tone and she hung up immediately. It’s like you guys have given all of us a superpower with how wide spread these scamming call center videos have become. Keep it up y’all! 💙
Its great all the scammers know about this and the other YT channels and it certainly must keep them looking over their shoulder with the anxiety that any call could be a UA-cam anti-scammer trying to expose them. In India I hear it brings a great amount of shame to their family when they are exposed.
Does anybody else get goosebumps whenever Pierogi manages to interrupt a scam-in-progess by calling the victims-to-be to assure them that nothing bad has happened yet?
they're targeting me this week telling me I have to pay $668.40 to social security I knew I'm a disabled person I'm not working since2010 I just I block the scammer
It's shocking to see that not everyone is bewildered about him calling and say it was a scam. I'd probably be wondering if it was some kinda double scam or something.
Because of your videos I was able to help a 79 year old man in Walmart today who had his call on speaker. I'll admit I creeped the aisles to make sure it was a scam. He was smart and told "medicare" if you were who you said you are, you would know my address. I asked him if he gave them and information and to hang up. I then educated him as well regarding the main things to look out for from scammers. I even called the number back on my phone to show him it wouldn't go through. He had yet another call come back in and he learned to block them and I immediately called back to show him again it would not go through and was yet another, or the same, scammer. He was feisty to them and was pretty on it! I told him he doesn't need to be kind and stay on the line, they don't deserve your time. Thank you!!
Hey there, I'm an Indian, watching this from India, and trust me, I really really appreciate you helping out the victims. These scammers operate in broad daylight and no one does a thing to stop them down here. So I really appreciate this. Kudos to your efforts!

It's depressing looking at a photo of a call center like that and seeing so many people, probably with pretty good educations, putting their talent to use scamming people. How many good things could be accomplished if these people were working toward productive ends. Sad.
I think you caught onto this while you were talking to the victims. When you say you're on the phone with scammers, they immediately assume that you're the scammer because you're on the phone with them. Maybe "I'm calling you to let you know that the people you were just speaking with are scammers." Love what you're doing to help people out, hopefully this finds you and helps as well. Stay safe, everyone!
Agreed. And I would be up front and suggest they use another phone to call their bank if they want. Maybe independently find the phone number of geeksquad or run to best buy if they want. Something to verify what is true and what is not.

I honestly think that every bank should give their customers a warning about these call centres, and especially the elderly people that go to the bank. They should say if they ever get a call from people that say there is a charge on their account to call the bank and verify or something. There has to be a way to end this... its so disgusting that they prey on elderly people.
I do not think that banks have any interest in saving their clients. Me and my family got scammed and my mother felt guilty, and wrote in the complaint that she gave her card number. Of course they rejected her. It is not a huge amopunt of money, but also not small as well. I lost my card 2 months ago and called the bank. I explained the bank I lost and found the card and they refused to unblock my card. After they created me the new card, I had to install my bank app again. I asked the clerk whop guarantees me that my money is safe in that app? The internet is not safe, especially on phones without antivirus softwares. The clerk looked at me and said: "Well, nobody knows if it safe to use it." I would never use that BS, but every business demands you to pay via online banking...😡

I know this isn’t what you meant, but I don’t want scammer hate to be misconstrued as Indian hate or Kulkata hate. India isn’t the problem. Indian people are not the problem. The 88 year old woman really got me. I can’t believe these people prey on the elderly and vulnerable like this, thanks for all you do Pierogi!
they are indian hindu scammers
Its disgusting
It's absolutely horrible, they like to think of them as easy targets
I love how he trolls them, while ruining their plans. This next step is sooo needed. Cutting in and saving lives in real time.
Yup, many 80+ year olds sincere &,getting scammed.

Saving Quality of Life - One Scam at a Time❣️
That poor old lady broke my heart.
There's not anything that can be done, the police in the US can't go to India to arrest the scammers, and the police in India are corrupt and bribed
I would love to see a State by State petition to obtain Government funding for this project.!!

Why can't the USA put a 5 day hold on all money going to India? Give people a change to fix their mistakes? Guess I'm too smart?
@@wbbb2 unfortunately that's not really an option. Not all scammers are based in India, and India is a huge country with a lot of people in it, and a lot of people make perfectly legitimate transfers to India every day. These call centers have 3 people working in a legitimate customer service department that the police won't investigate the other 25 people who are actually running a scam, because these scammers will point at the 3 actual people.
They are in bangalore where big companies Outsourced tech to.
When that outsourcing ended they started scam.
I've visited India and even a drive out the police will stop and extort a bribe from you
The women warn me not to go out alone come back drunk, as they will rob me and attack me
The young girl was raped to death in goa.
They do still stone ppl to death
Elderly in India left out to die.
Very dangerous country
Man - huge respect for the work that you and Jim and team are doing. I am an Indian living in Aus and am ashamed and really sorry that all this is happening to scam and create problems for innocent people.
First of all i am from India and I am so ashamed that these scam are mostly from India I am also proud of what you are doing man. Keep going ❤️❤️❤️❤️
just out of curiosity what would your country will do if they catch a scammer doing this type of behavior?? torture, chamber, hit them with a sandal??
@@jonathancapestany6379 Punishment of imprisonment and fine. Which will be about 6 months and can extend to 10 years according to the scale of the scam. And the fine will only be anything above the scammer made with scam which can even be doubled or tripled by the scale of the scam.
This will only happen if they have strong proof against the scammer. Have to say without that there is a chance that scammer getting out without any problem.
@@anandskumar893 Problem is the same in the USA. If a criminal makes enough money and pays off the right police and politicians, they can get away with practically anything
@@JoSeeFuss So it's the same everywhere. What a world
No need to be ashamed of something you didnt do. Scammers suck and are in all country's.
I have just started watching these videos...i am 68 so thanks for all you do to stop these disgusting people....also i am having the best laughs ever at what you are saying to them...i know what is happening is not funny.....but your humor towards them is hilarious
God, Perogie, I LOVE your work. I'm desktop support, so I appreciate what you are doing. I have private elderly clients that would most certainly fall victim to these assholes and I've advised them NEVER to allow remote support!
Gosh! I can feel the excitement!
I really feel sorry for the ones who had to go through scams and couldn’t be saved as those people thanks to this amazing UA-camr. Thank you.
This was awesome, love how you intercepted calls and helped the victims immediately. You are doing society a great service sir. Thank You.
I just recently discovered you Pierogi and I'm so happy that you were able to save the 3 people. I'm now addicted to your videos and you certainly kept me on my toes when you were calling the victims. Anyway, thank you from the bottom of my heart and if I can volunteer in any way, I'm available, but live in Canada. Hope it doesn't matter, but I'm a 65 yr old female that can make phone calls and keep them busy as my daughter and I used to mess around with scammers. I'd definitely be more than willing to help. Cheers
These guys are serious and dedicated and they are making a huge difference. Thank you so much
You people are awesome. I NEVER answer a random call! Any legit caller will leave a voicemail! Shut these losers down!
You guys are amazing. We need more people like you guys today helping especially our seniors who we all know get scared easily and fall these scammers.
I love how you don't just go for the scammers but also help the would be scammed at the same time.
For helping all our grandparents and our elderly moms and pops. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 💕 peace and love yall
Idk how I came across this channel but I’m beyond grateful it suddenly popped up in my UA-cam recommended screen. I’ve already binged 4 videos since the second I saw the first one and I can’t stop.
It’s truly beautiful the work you do. It’s above and beyond calling out scammers, beyond hacking and exposing them. Not all heroes wear a cape (but hey, if you did I’m sure it’ll work😉). It’s really inspiring and motivating.
I usually have fun watching these videos and feel very happy when you jelp people actively getting scammed, but when that lady said "i'm 88 years old"... my heart just sunk and I almost cried. How can people be that soulless, trying to scam such an old person who has no idea what is even happening...
I love how stoked you are to help people. The world needs more people like you!
Three back to back saves, that's AWESOME! I've been watching this channel for a while now, and it's unicorn days like this that make it all worth while for your team. This sort of thing needs to happen until every last red penny is squeezed from their grubby, thieving hands, and kept in the accounts of the people who it belongs to.
"I'm starving, I can barely make payments on my brand new Mercedes!" Bastards. I wish them all the misfortune they deserve, and then some. They truly are the scourge of humanity.
Thank you for all you do ! I get these scam E-mails all the time and have talked to others ( seniors) who think they are real and I constantly try to alert people to NOT call the number.
Keep up the good work you do!
Man i was SO happy to hear you contacting the victims at the end of the video! You guys are so AWESOME! i wish in knew how to do all the things that you guys know how to do to stop them, cause man i would LOVE to help out!
You're a hero. I'm from India & I'm ashamed of these scammers.
Keep the great work going💯❤️
No need for you to be ashamed. Regardless of ethnicity, crooks will always find a way to be crooks. Crooks are in every race and nation.
you are one of the very rare indians who is mature enough to not have blind patriotism. India is considered to be the worst country on earth and yet indians refuse to evolve.
I'm sorry for ashamed Indians. I so much love India. Too bad of these people, thay make bad reputation. Btw I've never been in India, but I was in culture, working 3 years, there was lots of Inds, Hindu people etc. Most of them (or better said almost all of them) would never steal anything. Very good people.
@@warrax111 you don't know most Indians then. Majority have a very corrupt, disgusting mindset. They should be banned in the same way we ban immigrants from dangerous countries.
My grandmother was scammed today for $1800. 3 $500 Visa cards and a $300 target gift card. Said they were the police and she needed to pay a fine. The target employee didn’t even say anything to her or ask questions. The worst part is I work in cybersecurity and my father has 20+ years in the IT field and she didn’t think to call us. Truly a shame what they do.
Pierogi, please NEVER STOP!!! You’re saving so many people and you create a wide awareness. We need you man, you’re awesome!!! ❤️
Beautiful how you save people from scammers! Must feel great to make those calls, even if the victims aren't always as grateful as they ought to be...
These are my favorite videos you do when you save people from these scammers in real time it makes my heart happy! Especially for the 88 year old woman! Thank you for everything you do! 🖤
The fact that he saved Betty then swooped in and took over as Betty is legendary 😂😭😭😭
Dude I love how pumped you get when you save someone from the headache
I was scammed awhile back. Your videos give me great pleasure to watch. Thanks to your videos I have been able to help 2 people who were being scammed. Keep doing your good work!
Your whole team is amazing.
I’ve had scammers calling me everyday.
Then I found the scam baiting on UA-cam.
Thank you for the educational material, I’ve used it to warn my friends and family about scammers.
(I even educated a nurse who had hmrc call).
(Jim Browning is my hero, as it was his channel I came across first.)
A huge thank you from across the pond.
@@MukeshKumar-bt2xv Whatever you say, salty scammer
This is the best content! Keep busting those scammers!
Get lots of calls from these scammers after work, scammer pay back taught me to drag the call out as long as possible to waste there time, love it
But why waste YOUR time?
I just hang up and block every scam call that comes in.
I got too much things going on than to drag a call.
@@carltonthepug because the longer you have them on the phone, the less time they have to scam someone else who is not aware.
@Gamer they are using masked numbers. The phone number you see may not even exist, or even belong to a completely innocent 3rd party.
It feels so relief when the people picks up and he warns them
You are doing a tremendous service! I am definitely hooked on your content! I love the ones where you intervene and reach out to the victim. Keep doing what you guys are doing! You have a fantastic team in place! Much love!
i love how pumped up he gets, there’s a man who loves his work
Agreed ✨
