I Broke the STI!!!

- That's right you read correctly. I broke my STI. And to anyone who assumes I blew it up. Jokes on you the motor is okay. Its other things around it that are causing issues and its time to get everything fixed so I can continue to use this car for autocross next season! I will start working on the car after I can afford to buy parts for it. Till then we have lots of other projects to get done. Stay tuned for that!

nice car, I think the ej's had head gasket issues, Thats the main reason I could never pull the trigger on a STI but I always like to look at what I was missing out on and don't seem like i missed much Lol
Yeah headgasket issues are a real thing for sure. I have a closed deck block, headstuds and a ringed headgasket so I don't have those issues. Ive also done other things to make the engine package reliable. But sadly you can build way better cars for less money. They are fun but just so expensive

@HemiLyfestyle thank you! That's awesome that you work with Mopar. I enjoy seeing people build all different types of cars no matter the brand. Someday I want do a Mopar build to experience it. I'd love to do a little bit of everything if I could.
