- 2009 Ducati 1198S update! I think I have all the parts I need to overhaul this beast. The straightened wheel looks amazing and so do the new Michelin Power GP tires. Spring is right around the corner so it's time to get started.

Strange that you make the point that you're not a museum, because I've never seen anyone strip and wash a bike so thoroughly. I'm now about to the same on my three bikes. :)
I can't help it! 😂
Thanks for the update. I look forward to future Ducati videos.
Can’t wait to see you do the oil change I just picked mine up today and I want to change oil
Nice to see updates on the Ducati again. I was wondering what happened to it.
Hi, is realy good to hear that, I`m from Ukraine to mate )))) Really nice project.
Great series! Have you checked that both foot pegs align? The mounting points on the frame can easily be bent... so just look from the top if they make a straight line.
Thanks for the note - I just checked and the pegs are straight.
Excited to see another bike video! :) good job man
Sgt. Roos, John T. (Ret.) More Ducati!:) Semper Fidelis
I imagine that the people who straighten motorcycle wheels are pretty busy during the winter months
Just found youre channel, good to see someone else doing their own service work, do you have an engineering background? From two time Ducati owner in Mallorca Spain, 900ss, now S2r 800.
Do valve adjustment video on this bike.
I have - check out episode 5 in this playlist.
Was your rear wheel nut left-hand threaded? I just took the wheel off my MV Agusta Brutale for the first time, which I think is similar, also uses that giant socket, and I didn't realize right away that it was a lefty. Luckily I did no harm.
Nope, it was right hand threaded. Left hand thread would have thrown me for a loop too!
Slow, laboured starts? My Scrambler and 950S are like waking a teenager! Interesting!!
Love the bike content! What's the story with that old Vespa that's always hanging around the garage? I don't recall you ever talking about it.
That's my wife's Vespa. I really want to do a restoration and modernization of it, but I'm having trouble justifying dumping that much cash into it. It does work but it's quite slow.
@@PracticalEnthusiast it would be cool to see you restore it some day!
The LAST REAL DUCATI,and for me one of the best design ever created by Ducati, when the Panigale V4 will be only an old bike ,this bike will be forefer a masterpiece of style...an evergreen bike, like the 916 or the f4
UA-cam says a video was deleted- without details, what happened?
Where’d the CBRs go???
The video that was deleted was this same one (ep. 3). I deleted it because there were issues with it. This is the revised one.
The CBRs have been sold I'm afraid.
