What mouthpiece is he playing, it must be gigantic, the depth is probably 1C range or so.

Some Z protos end up in the marketplace as something. From other vids it looks like he just has 15 K Light hats with custom rivets placed in them which makes them a "prototype". As of 2014 his set up was:

20" Vintage K Zildjian Ride

I wish people wouldn't say a performance is improvised if it isn't.... This is great, but it's not fully improvised, they are playing tunes.
Most of what they are playing is improvisation. Please enlighten me on how they are just playing tunes.
