Vx1 isnt waterproof I did order another waterproof one with wireless charging from ali but realised it was for a efoil had no break of reverse. Took it apart and the case wasnt sealed but the pcb and battery were dipped in clear plastic i doubted it would upagainst salt water, i gve it to a mate for his electric surfboard lasted 20 mins before it died..
So if you go to the throttle mapping on the remote ( I had to do this 3 or 4 times ) move the values up and down fixed my remote. Try this out Pavel you may own two working remotes.
First go to the mode menu by holding the secondary button under the power button. Second scroll through the menus by clicking the secondary button until your in Throttle Calibrat mode. Hold down the secondary button till the values can be changed. Move the wheel all the way foward and all the way backward, let the wheel rest in its centeral position. Hit the power button to complete calibration. This may need to be done multiple times to fix the issue. You should do a viedo on fixing the remote. Flipsky may appreciate it, pluse if it works you did kinda get a free controller.

I got new build that's great with this VX2 and the 6.6. The remote works great but it reads the battery, speed and range all wrong. Like it shows my battery at %85 all the time when it's fully charged and reads that I'm doing 10mph when i'm really doing 20+mph. I have all the stetting set right in the remote menu like 12S4P and wheel ratios. I'm so confused :(
Hi mate , Sorry to hear that you have issues with the remote... i do not normally use the readings of the battery or the speed to be honest but did hear a few people having the same problem. What you could do is : have someone drive next to you so you know your real speed or use a GPS speed measuring app and set the wheel size so that the speed on remote matches realistic speed. With the battery, best way is to install a voltage meter on the battery enclosure. They are not expensive and easy to connect. I do not think there are any smart remotes out there that give you a 100 % accurate reading to be honest. in my opinion, looking at the remote screen is dangerous while riding so i never do. Sorry that i could not help more. Ride safely.
Good video! Im currently having problems with my flipsky v2x. The mph board battery level and amps dont work. Contacted flipsky sent them a video they requested, see if I have any luck with them. I bought my remote and there antispark switch from them and the switch lasted 2 min and stopped working. Contacted them and that was a whole other story back and forth no resolution.

I still dont have my replacement I suspect the reflashing to KM/h will take longer...vx1 also wasnt perfect ( None are) but still a great remote especially now its $40 USD.
Hello, Thank you for the comment. Hope you get your replacement soon mate. Issue with vx1 is that the signals do get crossed sometimes and another vx1 could connect to your board by mistake...seen it myself.
@@ndsrocks1 Hi mate. Not really . The only time that i saw board running away due to the remote cross is when someone was pairing the remote and connected to a wrong board that sat on the floor turned on... Always turn your board off or get the wheels off the ground when not riding or resting.
I had the same problem and I solved it going into settings and than throttle calibrant. Than I pressed the setting button for 3 second and I calibrated the throttle. I hope this can help someone

I got mine for 20 dollars off the regular price on a Meepo promotion.) But it has ben only two and a half weeks. I am hoping to have the same opinion say after two and a half months of use. 29 mph on a mini board and you cut yourself with a ceramic knife. Life is funny sometimes is it not, my friend:) Yes, you do know remotes! And I am happy you did get a working remote.

Hi Frank, Flipsky VX2Pro or Maytech waterproof but esk8 version i would say. They are easy to install and you do not need to set them up - just calibrate.
This is really an incomplete review. Actually I wouldn’t call this video a review of the remote, you simply just show a defect, and the company resolved it.
Hello mate, Have you tried to re-calibrate the remote wheel? I does help sometimes. If not, make a short video to show the issue with the remote and email it to Flipsky. That is what I have done and they did send me a replacement.

My favorite remote for now is Trampa wand and I am using it on one of my boards ( I do have a full test / review on it on my channel ) , VX2 on another board and Flipsky Mini on the third. Not sure what I will be using on the new DIY.... might go for maytech that I already have.

I have the same problem with my vx2. I sent them a viedo of it not working. The asked me to take it apart look for magnets. Took it apart has magnets then i had to take it apart again to see if it had a sensor. What do I need to do at this point any ideas.

Hello Michael, Thank you for watching and commenting mate, I used to have cut outs when using the Mini 2.4 as well... did not have any cut outs on VX2 or Maytech remotes... Are you a thumb or trigger remote guy? Regarding the esc, are you asking about a genuine VESC or a clone? It is always better to go for the newest version like VESC Mark3 - more features .
Hello Mate, Sorry for the delay in reply. I never had a raptor board. Raptor does use unity esc and most remotes can be used. Trampa wand will not work though. So what is your plan? Are you planning to replace the unity for another esc?

Ouch... what make was it? I got the waterproof Maytech remote and it is quite nice but i did not try it under water though....

if Im using stormcore esc, do i get vx2 for vesc 4 or vx2 for vesc 6?
Hi. Should not make much difference but get vesc 6 and use it via uart mate...this way you will have the smart reverse function.
