I worked for Outdoor world / Thousand trails for 10 yrs. I was a maintenance lead, and my wife was assistant manager. I did much of what you are doing and loved every minute of it. We worked in Pennsylvania at Gettysburg Farms campground and was proud of that beautiful place. I took excellent care of it and made many friends. Now retired i wish i bought a park when i was younger.
6:57 Berm looks like a great solution! It doesn't appear that you are in the Regulatory Floodway so hopefully you didn't have to get a "No Rise Certificate". Overall it sounds like you are doing everything legally and above board. The fact that you hired an engineer and were working with the Army Corps of Engineers definitely tells me you did things right. Also, not a cheap route to go as I'm sure you are well aware.
Love the improvements that you're making👍It's of interest to us since we are building a campground of our own as well. The heavy equipment will arrive sometime this week and then all the magic begins! I'm taking drone footage before and after and may make a video of it all as well. There may be others that could benefit from what we share. Thanks for the inspiration. 👍
I'm glad i stumbled across your channel. I'm a current real estate investor and i also own a few side businesses. I stumbled acrros your channel looking for ideas for future investments. I currently own 3 quadplexes in california Los Angeles area and 1 triplex in Tucson Az. I wondering if i wanted to invest in a campground or a laundrymat. I have a plot of land up in the redwoods in california by Klamath Ca on my tribe reservation its about 5 acres by the ocean 25 min walk distance to the beach was wanting to turn it into a camp ground, needs a lot of work done to it so not sure if i want to just sell it not sure.

@@ddm220 I bet you’ve met a ton of cool people throughout your years of working there. It’s always fun talking to guests and hearing their stories.
