Got a NC slam Friday with some big fish Brook was 14 Rainbow was 22 and i lost a brown 3 times it was over 20 for sure and they all were caught on the same creek 10min from home
Appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoyed. I had to go back and check it out. I believe we fished a variety that included JP Ross 6.5 foot s glass rod, a super cheap Maxcatch 6.5 foot 3 weight and our buddy Steve was fishing a Scott fiberglass rod.
I grew up hunting and fishing there. I have seen (not caught) what i figure to be anywhere from 12-14 inch browns in that creek. It is a great place to see some bear too!
I have caught some nicer browns there in the past. We saw a couple better fish that got missed or spooked the day we filmed this. No doubt with some effort you could catch some nice fish.
Excellent video fellas, enjoy watching blue line fishing. Beautiful country where our trout live. I will be blue lining along the blue ridge parkway for brookies Monday, can't wait. Tight lines. 👍
Nice job guys!
Thanks Dennis!
Awesome video guys. That's for the help and hopefully I will join the trout slam club in the next few days! Be nice to join you in the summertime.

Also, did Adam get a new net? That thing looks sick!
He did. It’s a humorous story we might tell on a podcast soon.
Can’t wait to hear it lol
I completed the slam yesterday on the hooch up in the national forest
Awesome Reid! Glad you got out and did it
Congratulations, wow y’all get a whole year to complete the slam challenge. Virginia has to be done in 1 day.
Right. One day is the challenge. That’s one reason we chose to it that way.
