My mother will be 102 this Saturday, December 21st!! I'm her youngest of 12 children & I'm 56. She's living all by herself on our family farm where I grew up. 😊 Family members bathe her weekly, neighbors take her to Mass. She cooks for herself etc. She is clear minded, does have hearing aids & now needs a magnifying glass. She says God keeps her here to pray for all of us! She is definitely a prayer warrior! We can do this ladies!😊😊
Thanks ladies, this is all great advice ❤ , I’m 56 and agree we need to know what’s going on in our 40’s instead of thinking we are going mad or it’s stress due to looking after kids/ ill parents 😢
You need to talk about vagina and vulva health. I can tell you right now women are suffering with undiagnosed lichen sclerosus because doctors, even gyn doctors blow you off saying it's yeast infection and old age. It sometimes takes years of pain to finally get diagnosed. I had never heard of this condition, and it takes a huge toll on mental health, intimacy, and physical health.
I am very glad that we are talking about menopause and we need to talk openly about changes and not to rely only on GP opinions.I am so sorry that my mum had to suffer in silence. When I was in my forties, my dr. asked me about the menopause. I found this weird as I thought that I needed to be sixty and I was only forty. Fortunately for me I had a brain haemorrhage late forty years old and the attention changed to keeping me alive. Well this situation ment that I menstruated until I was 57 years old. Normally never heard of. I remember my mum saying to me that I could still get pregnant. I did not want to take HRT because stats were saying at that time,23 women out of a thousand women would get breaast cancer. Too high for me at that time, as I was the 1% that had such a severe brain haemorrhage. I was in a coma for a month and when I awoke I did not recognize my own daughter or remember that I had a job. It's not until my daughter was clearing out my stuff from work😢 that I remembered that I worked.
Brilliant, thank you for the update. What levels should fsh be at ? I am on hrt , compounded is working for me now, like you say plus nutrition focus and muscle building, as well as making time for relaxation alongside my usual cardio exercise.
