Back when I could eat broccoli, I would place cut up broccoli florets in the bottom of the pan, and use them to hold the stuffed shells upright. Worked very well, and then a veggie was cooked with the stuffed shells!! BONUS!!
Next time you make the stuffed shells, add the cheese mixture to a ziplock baggie and cut the end of the bag, and it makes stuffing the shells easier and not so messy.
That's one of my fav hacks. I'm the designated deviled egg person for all the family holidays. .I cut X in the corner of ziplock so it comes out Kinda resembleing frosting flowers.Fancy that. Lol
Hey Mandy, my mama taught me to pour the spice into my palm and then rub it between my fingers to release the oils and then toss into the bowl. Spices sitting in the jar lose some of their oomph. Giving them a good rub really does up the flavor of the seasonings. Mama was right. Sending hugs from Kentucky 💕
Definitely a great tip, I saw that on a cooking show years ago, I’m always crushing up the spices once I put them in my hand before I toss them in. It definitely adds more flavor :)
Yes Ma'am, .. been doing that for the last 47 years off marriage whilst raising our 7 kiddos. Spices will release their fragrant essential oils if rubbed in your palm before adding to the pot. Happy cooking 💕
Ricotta cheese should always be put into a mesh strainer so it could release the liquid. You can do this several hours ahead of time but many times I drain it in the refrigerator overnight. Hope you found this helpful. Love your show!
I love your videos they have helped me with my depression and also helped me with making dinner. I have made at least 4 or 5 of your recipes, including the one your brother in law made. I love Gracie. You and your family are awesome. Thank you for being so real.
Mandy, use a small cookie scoop to fill your shells. It makes it a breeze. I have 8 cans of chicken in my emergency food storage that I need to rotate through. tfs 🥰🙏
I did the stuffed shells one year using leftover Thanksgiving turkey. It was a winner, so I thank you for reminding me. Another one I did with the leftovers was stuffed Thanksgiving shells, using stuffing and chicken in the shells with gravy over top.
I make this only instead of using ricotta cheese I use rinsed cottage cheese then it doesn't have the consistency of mashed potatoes sometimes I also use a little bit of chopped up spinach in it it's so good. I just love watching y'all's videos
Next time for stuffed shells make a piping bag with a ziplock bag, gallon sized. Makes stuffing shells ao much easier. Love your show and enjoy every upload!
That is an awesome tip and thank you for mentioning it because I had forgotten about it I was thinking Mandy I love you but this doesn't look like a quick meal to me ...I think that would make it so much easier😁
It was so great to have a special guest, and I did David's recipe it was delicious. Maybe he could come back and share another recipe? Another great vlog, Mandy ❤️
Its always nice to have some fast and simple recipes to make on nights when you just really don't feel like cooking, but you know your family has to eat! Thanks Mandy! Have a blessed week! 💕
I made the Smothered Chicken Recipe the other night and OH BOY! Even the leftovers were gone by the next day! We had some very happy people in our house! Also, I shared it with my bff and her family LOVED it too!!!! So good! And what a GEM David is!
Mandy what I always do is put all the ingredients out before I start to cook, that really helps me not to forget anything, That Chicken Crack recipe sounds great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. Real quick, a pierogi is mashed potatoes stuffed into pasta. I like to add peas and carrots (canned is fine) to my pierogi and finish with a tomato meat sauce or a Alfredo sauce. God Bless and stay safe.
An easy alternative to canned chicken if you have the time is to pressure cook frozen chicken for 25 minutes with a ten minute natural release. It isn’t the fastest but you could prep some for shredding the day before or as weekly meal prep. Also love your Bisquick chicken pot pie is a favorite of mi e.
An Alfredo, chicken, baked potato are to die for. Bake your potato. Flake.the k side.wirh the fork some. Put warmed alfledo.with chicken on top and yummo.
Love using can chicken. I watched the video with David in it and I thought it was awesome! Loved the cassserole too! I swear when I seen you open that can of chicken I was just waiting for Gracie Lou to be looking up at you meowing. She's as precious as can be. I'm going to for sure try these recipes! Thanks for sharing
3 more winners! Whenever I make cracked out chicken I like to add either a can of green chilies or pickled jalapeños. When my kids were young I use to bake baked shells quite a lot, sometimes red sauce, sometimes Alfredo, always quicker than lasagna, at least back then before no boil lasagna sheets! Gracie Lou anything you have to say, I’m listening!❤❤❤
Mandy I will be making a meal for a sick friend. She loves Italian so your stuffed shells will be great. Thank you for sharing all of these recipes. Love to you all from Pennsylvania.
Mandy I am totally doing the jumbo shell recipe but, since it is Thanksgiving. I will wait and use my leftover turkey. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
This video hooked me on the first recipe. Those stuffed shells looked so good. And we love Alfredo. These all look so good. Everyone is so right about David. I loved meeting him and his smothered chicken is delicious. I hope you have him on again. Thanks Mandy
These recipes sound amazing and I really appreciate the simplicity of them. Chicken anything goes down well in our home and these will make great additions to our meal plans. I like Cole's ideas for taking the Alfredo flavour into mashed potatoes! Enjoyed Gracie Lou's "chatter" today! I think Steven needs a shirt with "Comment Tater" on it with a big tater! Lol! Thank you, Mandy for another amazing video and it's great to see you feeling better! Blessings! 🙏💕😊
Mandy, you are not the only one that has forgotten to add something to a recipe. I was making a chocolate fudge pie, put it in the oven and remembered that I didn't add the vanilla extract so I pull it out of the oven slightly and then added the vanilla extract & pushed it back in the oven.
These all look great, especially the last one. I’m going to try the stuffed shells but with red sauce, not a fan of Alfredo. What a nice thing for you to do for Tabby, Mandy, you are a sweet friend ❤
Hi Mandy! I do use canned chicken quite a lot, for certain dishes that I make. I think it’s very good! All three of the dishes you made today look very tasty, especially the Cracked Out Chicken casserole. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you for these wonderful recipes, as usual! Y’all all have a good evening.
When I make shells, manicotti or deviled eggs I put my filling in a gallon zip lock bag. Squeeze air out, snip corner & use like a piping bag. It’s so easy. Love your videos BTW!
Everything you make on here is a Must try! I could of just had supper and be full … then watch your videos and I’m like salivating at wanting to try it now! We need to be able to “ share” as in I want to taste test asap! 😂
I have a very small mortar n pestle….that I use on dried herbs….when I remember to use it. Thks for reminding me of that. Your videos are inspiring/encouraging. So very practical in any size household!!! Ahna
These all look good. David is a sweet heart and I'm sure he is enjoying all these comments about him. I made the John Wayne casserole and my husband, after a couple of bites said "Are you going to make this again, You are, aren't you? Then after he got through, he said "Make this again, please"! LOL I tweaked it a little. He is gluten free and I already had a GF Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix. I made it according to pkg instructions including the butter and garlic mix on top after cooking a little in oven then put everything on top. It was AMAZING! I think that made it go over the top a little more. Love your videos so much!!!
WOO HOO lovely to see you again. Hope you are feeling better. Too funny I just made Alfredo pasta chicken - but I made mine with chicken breasts - I buy them on sale and cube them, cook them up in the crock pot unseasoned and then freeze them in portions to quickly add them to meals. I make my own Alfredo sauce and I seasoned my chicken with an Italian seasoning blend. I keep my spices in small mason jars because I have tried spice jars, but I never used the tops to shake. Mason jars easy to use as a measuring spoon fits in easily (for those who measure) I tend to eyeball it most of the time, unless I am making a recipe for the first time. Also I recently bought a cheese grater like the one you use - LOVE IT - stays put and quick and easy to use - like you I have arthritis in my hands and that grater is a huge blessing. Lovely to see your wonderful family and especially a treat to see Gracie. Such a sweet fur baby and yes mine also nap and expect cheese delivery 🤣🤣🤣
I saved a bunch of your videos and I put some rice and canned chicken out and now can't remember which recipe I wanted to make. I guess I have to watch them all over again. You guys are so cute, I have grand kids probably your age. Time flies.
I think this is the first video that you didn’t use Auntie No No’s! With food prices on the rise, thank you for some great ideas using less expensive canned chicken as an option. This is why you’re so awesome.
After watching your first video with the canned chicken we make the canned chicken bbq pizza all the time it’s one of our favorites! I will be trying these recipes also. Thanks Mandy! 😋
I have a recipe similar to the stuffed shells that you made that also has a bag of frozen spinach squeezed out and mixed in to the filling, and I top it with bread crumbs. I always use panko, but I think the original recipe has Italian bread crumbs. That little bit of crunch makes it so much better to me. I haven't made my recipe in ages. I think you've inspired me!
I have made several of your recipes and my family has loved them all. I will definitely be trying these, we love chicken and bacon and cheese. Y'all are so cute to watch, your videos really make my day. Thanks so much for all you do.
As a grandmother raising 5 grandchildren I'm always looking for meals to feed an army. This is definitely one of those meals. Thank you David for sharing this delicious meal. 😋 Looking forward to making this for my family.
I feel so sad for you. I’m raising my 14 yo Autistic grandson. I raised our granddaughter too, his sissy who is now 22. I helped raise my niece & great niece & nephew. Add in the 5 little neighborhood girls who had druggie parents. It was such joy while I was young & healthy. But now I’m a hot mess with so many health problems. I will put you on my prayer list. Blessings to you & your babies. ❤
For the 4 can mexican casserole... could I use chicken, rice, corn and SALSA (instead of the taco sauce tomatoes and green chiles) ? Maybe a cup or 1 1/2 cups of salsa? I love watching you ALL. I love your videos, family dynamic and your cooking. I couldn't have any ideas or will to cook if it wasn't for your videos lol. I also appreciate that you sometimes show the things that some people think are so simple like making mash taters or cooking steak. I didn't know how to do some of the "simple" things til I watched you! So thanks again!
Oh man those look so good! I love alfredo but it can be a little strong sometimes, I was thinking it might taste good with just a little grated lemon peel sprinkled over the top?
I ran over here so fast I tripped over my hubby's oxygen hose. Just kidding. Asking y'all to please continue to pray for my hubby and I. He goes tomorrow to a Pulmonary specialist to see if he can have surgery to remove a large hernia removed that's pushing against his right lung. He's on oxygen 24-7 due to Covid damaging his lungs. Thank you in advance. God Bless.
Oooh Mandy the second recipe I bet u could use it like a dip with tortilla chips or Doritos I bet that would be awesome ! Or even crush the tortilla chips or Doritos up and put them on top when it’s already done just for a little crunch !! Yum 🤤
I have a sign in my kitchen that says I only have this kitchen cuz it came with my apt!!! I don't eat anything unless I can open a can or package!! This is a perfect recipe for me!! Thank you for sharing!!! I love alfredo rather than tomato base, So...all is perfect!!!
Gracie is so cute! I've never used canned chicken before but I recently saw the other video on it and bought a can for something I'm making next week. I hope it comes out good.
I make Stuffed Shells with Chicken and Stove Top Stuffing, Cheese and covered with Cream of Mushroom Soup. Add a half can of milk to the soup to make it more pourable. Baked uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes. It is great.
I have can chicken but never used it but with these recipes I will be using it now thanks for these recipes my beagle watches your videos with me I think he likes seeing Gracie
Love love love your Chanel !!! And Gracie is the sweetest ….. Was thinking that the chicken Alfredo would be amazing with mushrooms instead of the shells !!!! Thanks for all the amazing ideas !!! Cheers !!!
Mandy, so I just made the stuffed shells. I used rotisserie chicken and also added spinach and sundried tomatoes to it as well. Easily a new family favorite. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have made 3 of your recipes. My Very favorite so far is the White Chicken Enchiladas! The Hubs loved them. I have also made a binder of all your recipes I am printing out to make... whenever. I love crockpot recipes and Insta Pot recipes!!❤ Since we are retired, I love easy, 1 pot meals. 😻❤
Back when I could eat broccoli, I would place cut up broccoli florets in the bottom of the pan, and use them to hold the stuffed shells upright. Worked very well, and then a veggie was cooked with the stuffed shells!! BONUS!!
Smart idea!!!
Such an excellent idea!
Love the kitty's participation!
Next time you make the stuffed shells, add the cheese mixture to a ziplock baggie and cut the end of the bag, and it makes stuffing the shells easier and not so messy.
I do the same. Cheaper version of a piping bag.
Me too, works great! I use the bag for piping deviled eggs also.
I do that with deviled eggs, but I need to remember to do it next time I make stuffed shells!!
Thank you for that tip!
Definitely a great tip, I saw that on a cooking show years ago, I’m always crushing up the spices once I put them in my hand before I toss them in. It definitely adds more flavor :)
Absolutely! Makes dry spices more like fresh.
Yes Ma'am, .. been doing that for the last 47 years off marriage whilst raising our 7 kiddos. Spices will release their fragrant essential oils if rubbed in your palm before adding to the pot. Happy cooking 💕
Great tip Kimmie. Thank you for posting it.
Never ceases to blow my mind at how much time it takes to make a dinner and then how fast the family consumes it!
Maybe texture wise on the stuffed shells you could add some bread crumbs to the top and toast it. Love your videos!
l would recommend trying to toss some panko bread crumbs around in some garlic butter then putting them on top
Everyone loves your family & your delicious meals. Gracie is just the cutest cat,she just completes your family.
Agree. Uplifting homey videos. Stay well ❤
Sending you so much love, Tracy ❤️😘
Mandy, use a small cookie scoop to fill your shells. It makes it a breeze. I have 8 cans of chicken in my emergency food storage that I need to rotate through. tfs 🥰🙏
I make this and add some cooked drained spinach. It is a twist on the dish that Olive Garden used to serve called "Roman Chicken"! It is delicious!
I did the stuffed shells one year using leftover Thanksgiving turkey. It was a winner, so I thank you for reminding me. Another one I did with the leftovers was stuffed Thanksgiving shells, using stuffing and chicken in the shells with gravy over top.
That sounds delicious
Being a cat lover and owner of a Birmese X I just love the way you talk & interact with your cat...and in your southern accent calling her by name...
Cake decorating piping bags are good for stuffing those shells. Just put filling in snip a end and fill. Thanks for the recipes
I make this only instead of using ricotta cheese I use rinsed cottage cheese then it doesn't have the consistency of mashed potatoes sometimes I also use a little bit of chopped up spinach in it it's so good. I just love watching y'all's videos
I'm not really a cat person, but Gracie Lou is the sweetest thing💗
Next time for stuffed shells make a piping bag with a ziplock bag, gallon sized. Makes stuffing shells ao much easier. Love your show and enjoy every upload!
Love that! Thank you!
Came to say this!!!😀 makes it so much easier!

Lol 🤣 I'm glad I'm not the only one over here 🤣

WOO HOO lovely to see you again. Hope you are feeling better. Too funny I just made Alfredo pasta chicken - but I made mine with chicken breasts - I buy them on sale and cube them, cook them up in the crock pot unseasoned and then freeze them in portions to quickly add them to meals. I make my own Alfredo sauce and I seasoned my chicken with an Italian seasoning blend. I keep my spices in small mason jars because I have tried spice jars, but I never used the tops to shake. I saved a bunch of your videos and I put some rice and canned chicken out and now can't remember which recipe I wanted to make. I guess I have to watch them all over again. You guys are so cute, I have grand kids probably your age. Time flies.
Awesome recipes, thanks for sharing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The canned chicken also makes for a very quick and easy enchilada meal 😊
I really like and love your recipe, the energy and the love of your family is so beautiful and bless you all.
I have made several of your recipes and my family has loved them all. I will definitely be trying these, we love chicken and bacon and cheese. Y'all are so cute to watch, your videos really make my day. Thanks so much for all you do.
I love how Mandy moves from side to side while she’s talking about the dish she prepared 😂😂😂😂😂 kinda like a good dance 😊
I noticed too!! Like I did with a baby on my hip ❤

Add in the 5 little neighborhood girls who had druggie parents.
It was such joy while I was young & healthy.

I will put you on my prayer list.
Blessings to you & your babies. ❤
I was wondering where Gracie was when you were grating the parmesan!! Love the recipes, really love that pretty toe bean beauty
I always keep canned chicken in my pantry so versatile loved the recipes thank you 😊 ☺️
Mandy so glad you’re feeling better. Look forward to all your videos ❤
I use that chicken constantly. Sometimes I sauté it first with a little onion……best quality chicken ever! That brand is the best made.
Thank you Mandy for these awesome looking recipes. I've been looking for recipes that use canned chicken.
My cat loves beef jerky. She hears that bag open and she looses her mind lol cracked out chicken and rice looks good!
Simple, fast and delicious! That’s my kind of meal! Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad to hear that 💓
Oh man those look so good! I love alfredo but it can be a little strong sometimes, I was thinking it might taste good with just a little grated lemon peel sprinkled over the top?
Love your cat 🐈 ❤
Jiffy would be good on top. Love y’all
Your cat is the star of the show! 🤗😻 love your videos and recipes!
Mandy you can possibly dice up broccoli florets and put it into your mixture next time and make a chicken and broccoli alfredo shells.
Love that idea!
God Bless.
❤ sending prayers for y’all!

Oooh Mandy the second recipe I bet u could use it like a dip with tortilla chips or Doritos I bet that would be awesome ! Or even crush the tortilla chips or Doritos up and put them on top when it’s already done just for a little crunch !! Yum 🤤
Wow...my mouth is watering just thinking about that!!! Great idea!!
Great minds think alike.
I make taco soup & use tortilla chips as crackers.
I have a sign in my kitchen that says I only have this kitchen cuz it came with my apt!!! I don't eat anything unless I can open a can or package!! This is a perfect recipe for me!! Thank you for sharing!!! I love alfredo rather than tomato base, So...all is perfect!!!

Looks great Mandy. I have tried the canned chicken and it is really good.. Thanks for the recipe.

Mandy, so I just made the stuffed shells. I used rotisserie chicken and also added spinach and sundried tomatoes to it as well. Easily a new family favorite. Thanks for the inspiration!
