I have the version with the gilt hands, indices and minute track and I am delighted with it. It immediately became the favourite of my homage watches along with the Watch Dives Explorer homage. They really are making some very nice quartz watches at very reasonable prices. The only thing I don't like about this watch is that the lume is a bit to greeny/yellow for my liking but I can forgive that due to everything else being superb. I know some have commented on the logo but I don't mind it at all as it is very inoffensive compared to the Addiesdive name and logo on some of my other watches.
Ah yes. That fine brushing is very lovely. As for the watch, I mean if you’re looking for the best Homage / Clomage of a BB54 for less than 100 GBP’s, you don’t have to look anywhere else. I am looking forward to the new logo though. Thanks for the great review!
@Man_Ray78 The Watchdives has a newer vibe. Thorn is more vintage. Watchdives is a bit light and a bit cheaper feeling but I still like it and wear it. Thorn just feels more solid on the wrist.
far from the worst logo, the rest are so bad that I find this one palatable now.. I am buying this, finally a small diver with screw down crown - and non offensive branding.
A guy I met recently travels a lot to China and is also a watch enthusiast. He told me something interesting about these so called homage brands. Basically there are a couple of factories in China that produce the cases, bracelets and dials. They supply the various "homage" brands which exist in name only, and the dials are printed to order. These same factories also supply the lucrative fake industry. Did you ever wonder (he asked) why they are nearly all high end Swiss brand clones like Rolex? That's because that's the hardware these factories are tooled for, which makes them cheap to supply. So you might have a clear consciouse about not financing the fake watch industry, but if he's right and you buy one, then indirectly you are.
@@AndySmith4501 that's fascinating! It's such a minefield out there of possibilities as to what we contribute to. I'm sure there are many things we buy in the world that indirectly contribute to something less than good! Thanks again for the info. 😊
@@watchmewithwatches I bought a watch recently that's a Panerai clone with a Chinese automatic movement £26 shipped from China. It's quite a nice thing but you have to ask, how is it possible to build and ship a watch for that price even from China. Someone somewhere I suspect is working 12 hours a day for a bowl of rice.

watchdives is amongst the best when it comes to branding ...
They have a new Trident logo. My 369 dial explorer came with the new logo.

@@darrenfry4695 thanks Darren!
Is it easy to take the case back off with the battery change??
Classy looking watch. Tudor design is the biz.
The Thorn one has been my fav. This one is in the mail. Can't wait to compare.
How was it when compared?

The bezel, with the red triangle at the top, reminds me of the Submariner Connery wore as Bond.
What’s the link to the ladies bottom again?…

This is currently the best value grab-n-go on the planet!
Great video, perfect GADA dive watch. Just subscribed as well.
Great video. Well done.
A decent grab and go with a logo that reminds me of the Looney Tunes cartoons.

Rolex style caseback on a quartz??? Bad decision making.

Nice review, thanks 👍. I'm not keen to buy, but that's Tudor's fault 😁

It's so...... Small!
@@fractalofgod6324 it wears so comfy! I forgot to add it only weighs 119g
Ah yes, the Black Bay 58 "homage"-because who wouldn't want a dive watch that pays tribute to a watch it never actually was.
Ok.
It’s actually a BB54 homage, with a BB58 style insert.
Huh?
Poor review and presentation 😢. Reference to ladies bottom means I’ll never watch or recommend your channel again.
