SMARTCARB ON A PUCH MOPED / TRON RACING EPISODE #5

In this episode I give a little update on the Puch Maxi build that has the 74cc ported Gila kit. After painting and placing the engine back on I was having some idling and tuning issues. After a little I realized that my carb had a broken and chewed up small jet and that some how a small hole was in my case. I fixed the hole and decided to use my 25mm Smartcarb I had and place it on the Puch to see how it would run. So far it runs great but I did not take it out on a long ride because of ice on the road. In a later episode I will do a detailed and more indepth review, but for now this shows you can put one on a Puch Gila setup.

I see a lot of electric conversions these days as well, but I’ve yet to see a hybrid moped, but it will be more like a motorcycle with all the power and the speed.

Thanks! I got the lights form amazon, here is the link below. Great lights and only cost $30 with prime. It is a 12v setup though. Will have a video soon of the electrical I did to get it to run off a battery for RC cars and put it in the frame internally.
