This demo reel shows why everybody is now using Toon Boom as the main software for 2D animation.
Wish they used it in the studio I work at :(
@@seanf2 What do they instead use? TVPaint?
@@Nonjola They use this software which is utter shite called Celaction. It's so bad. The only reason we use it is because it's cheap.
@@seanf2
I worked with it and it is really good, but more for traditional animation.
@@seanf2 Which version do you use? I worked with TVPaint Animation 11 Pro.
I like the anime style
E
0:40 anime style 🙃
That segment was commissioned to D'ART Shtajio in Japan.
Whoever did these parts:
0:40
0:42

I'm out to get you and by get you i mean study your styles of animation. i WILL research the crap out of you and i WILL study you HARD. You've been warned.
0:42 was done by Shane at Mercury Filmworks. He doesnt have a social platform, but there are other examples from Mercury. Search up 'Netflix Hilda' to see more of our stuff :)
Loved all those neat styles of those animated characters.
I don't really like the new animation style in most kids shows. It's flowing but then it gets slow or choppy. I do appreciate the animators in The Dragon Prince for taking the time to fix the way their animation looked
Toon Boom just keeps getting better and better.
Doesn't it?! :)
hey there
Does anyone know how i get rig characters (toon boom) for animation ...please let me know...
Are there significant differences between builds? How far back can I watch tutorials. Example, can I watch a Harmony 14 tutorial on rigging from 3 years ago? Would it still apply?
Hi Frank, you can find version notes at docs.toonboom.com. We would recommend referring to our Learn page for the most recent tutorials: learn.toonboom.com -Mike
I loooove toon boom 😍😍😍😍
yessss!
0:42 wow! my favorite style!
LOVE YOU TOON BOOM!!!
I can't use this software.because the payment price is high in my country Ethiopia.at least make it lower.PLEASE!!!!!🙇🙇🙏🙏🙏
LOVE YOU TOON BOOM!!!
wow this really cool
Corazón y te pongo en un top, eso seria tu firma 👌😉
I want the app / animation app
Hi sir, can i mix rigging stlye character with frame by frame.
Oh course you can ! It's called ''Hybrid productions''. It's great because you can use a rigged head for dialogues, and a rigged body too for easy shots such as exposition or reactions and walks and what not, and keep the frame by frame for money shots, of action sequences and ect.
Glitch Techs was made with Hybrid rigs! You should check it out! ua-cam.com/video/tpPvJSz-mVQ/v-deo.html
@@ZeBirdBrain wow, iam so happy to know how to do hybrid metode on toonboom. Should we have to make seperate layer?
Amazing!!!
can you also do that whiteboard style animation seen in the first 30 seconds of this video? or was that done in a different software?
The entire video is created in ToonBoom, i believe
oh wow really? how?! XDD
Hi Hana, thank you for reaching out. The drawn character effect was traditionally animated frame-by-frame, and the colour-reveal effect was achieved by animating cutters, all using Harmony.
@@ToonBoomAnimation 0:09-0:16 was drawn frame-by-frame? It seemed like it was being screen recorded as it was drawn.
There was no screen-recording involved in this video. That segment was animated frame-by-frame by Geneviève Demers, Toon Boom's in-house Animation and Instructional Design Specialist in Montreal.
I gotta have this wonderful tech.
yesssss
Wooooww... So cool
The Music is Legit!
It's made by The Fat Rat, which is an amazing artist!!
I love it :)
Funny and beautiful ^^
Thank you !
That was so freakin awesome
Thank you !
Flash can't do this
so adorable , wonderful, nice and cool!!!!!
yes, yes, yes, and yes !
Вааау! это было круто!
Where can I download the program?
como hacen eso tan bello, es con tableta gráfica, por a maus es complicado
Muy probablemene con una tableta gráfica con pantalla, en mi caso yo tengo una Intuos S que también con esa se trabaja muy bien en Toon Boom Harmony.
:'v
Was this all room boom or other apps was featured ???????!
Heya!
This reel was made mainly on harmomy.
Third party softwares were used for editing the final the shots together and adding sound design
But all the bg work, animation, storyboarding, animatic editing and compositing was done in Storyboard pro and Toonboom
❤
Name of MUSIC please
Hi Artem, the song 'Jackpot' by TheFatRat is credited at the end of the video.
@@ToonBoomAnimation Thank you!!!
I will pay the person who did this 300$ to do me a 30sec bump. But it must look as good as this.
Hi George, you can find credits at the end of this video - however 30 seconds of hand drawn animation is made out of 360 to 720 drawings per character. You are unlikely to get a project of this quality made for $300. -Mike
@@ToonBoomAnimation Then how much. All I'm asking is for price and details on how to get it done.
Depending on the complexity and the size of the team you are working with, a professionally produced 30 second commercial could cost between $15,000 to $200,000. Your best course of action would be to email a local animation studio for a quote. -Mike
could you also? add music and let them talk and that they will also be live with you if so, so be so cool
I thought this was just the intro for the video
