Hey Jimmy, No, I don't think there will be any new videos from Simply. I'm thinking about a video on this channel to explain what happened and what's going on.
Do you use the KUBI system at all? If so Can you do a video on that. I just got them on my new drysuit and would love to learn more about maintaining and how to switch out the seals and dry gloves. Thanks and keep up the great videos!!
Size you spare seals (neck and or wrist) at your bench prior to placing in your save a dive kit. This way your prepared to instantly install out in the field if the need arises. Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter
What do you think of neoprene wrist and neck seals? I’ve heard good things about them being easier to get on, particularly about the neck seal...with longer hair apparently the neoprene doesn’t rip your hair out unlike the latex/silicone type seals. Your videos are really helping me think about drysuit options though for my first drysuit, so thanks!
My first suit had neoprene seals and yes they were easy to get on and pretty gentle at creating a seal. Just be gentle with them as they can split pretty easily with a fingernail or pulling one place too much. If they could be swapped over as quickly as silicone seals they'd probably be my #1 choice.
I have the Santi Smart Gloves system and the thick gloves together with thick fleece undergloves meant I couldnt feel my boltsnaps anymore. Love the rings, not the gloves. Now it's a tad warmer I've switched to Showa 720 gloves and thin running undergloves. Still warm enough and a lot more feeling. The gloves still look sturdy. Just had to mount them a bit differently in the rings since they have a thin cloth liner that would otherwise leak.
thank you!
Nice dry suit :) Hi from underwater Russia from commercial divers
Thank you buddy 😊
Hey Mark cool content, are you still doing stuff with Simply Scuba?

Hi Mark, Great videos. Can you make a video on replacing your dry suit gloves?

Waterproof Ultima is fab, however the heavy duty gloves loose a lot of dexterity. Maybe a video on types of dry gloves👍
Yeah, the HD gloves suck unless you need something tough.
I use the slim 1.6mm gloves you get with Kubi for dexterity.
Will check them out👍

Thanks Mark, lube all the things.
You're looking good by the way. New hairstyle suits you.
