REBUILDING THE PLAYA IN CHIEF CHAPTER NEXT: After taking lessons, i really needed to learn to forget them on the course. The mechanics can sneak up on you and destroy your vibe. I hadn't played in a while and it was amazing to see how she refocused me and got me around the course in around 1 or 2 over par when I had no idea where the ball was going.
The key takeaway here is the information on alignment to align your clubface, your body and then to eliminate the course in your minds eye and SEE THE FIELD like in LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE. The aiming technique she uses in the distance helps us to let go of what is in front of us. We remove the fairway, the danger, the hazards and all we see is some small thing in the distance that we play to.

Michele was practically showing me the way of the playa. It highlighted how far I have moved away from the path of the Way of the Playa because my brain is so scattered with other work and life stress when I do get to the golf course.
There is so much value in this video and Michele is a superb coach. - Спорт

Made my misses smaller. After 45 years of golf, this 7 handicapper is shooting 3 handicap scores.

Matt: I've been watching your videos about a year. The mental approach and carefree attitude you have shown have helped tremendously. I've been a 8 handicap for most of the last 15 years. I've gotten down to a 5 this year. I also had my best round in a club tournament this year. 66 on a par 70. I beat the field in a 2 man bb. Keep it up mate - having a ball watching and bringing the lessons to the course!

This woman is the complete opposite of my playing partner....in every way!! Great mental tips and approach to course mgmt.
Michele explaining the alignment with the spot in the distance and the spot in front of the ball was brilliant. I have heard both ways explained but never together. Probably the best tip on UA-cam!
I havent had a pro lesson yet. Still learning how to golf. Every time I go to the course, I meet folks who let me join them for a round. I broke 100 based off of youtube and generous folks at the course. PB is 93 now. Started golfing about 5 months ago.
Perhaps best to take lessons directly. You will still be able to make changes easily

Every round is playing what you've brought that day. The range lessons are important, but as you've shown in the past videos and now this series with Michelle, each shot, and the next shot, are all you can focus on. Make your best choice, commit to it, swing. She's good, makes the game simple.

Matt, I took last week off and played two rounds with my father and my mothers sister. It turns out it was the last rounds of the season as it is now snowing here in Nova Scotia. I don't remember the score only the laughs we had. It is definitely about the journey!

Most practical tips video of many great videos you have ever done. Especially liked the three alignment points: Landing place, small target way in the distance to eliminate "noise in head" and short target for club face. All three in a line. Brilliant!

Hey Playa, I love your videos mate, clear instructions, and explanations, great content. you have superb coaches in Michelle and Eric, both cool dudes. I have been playing off and on for 35 yrs, not regularly enough to get to a mid handicap, at the minute I play off 19. Following some of these ideas i'm sure i will get lower next year as our winter is kicking in in the UK. one question to you, are you the only people who play on those courses? because the condition of the courses are second to none. never see any divots, bare grass area's etc.

I've been following your journey for the last 6-9 months and I just had to let you know that your swing looks and sounds so much better now and you have become much more consistent. What a great channel and great example of how the journey for improvement works for a golfer.
