i feel like if shortcat wasn't jperm he would address the sea of comments saying he is. it's possible that they just sound the same. but the fact that he ignores those comments makes it more suspicious
it’s like how Jelly Jess never addressed that she was MyLPSworld It’s none of our business and he may have reasons to never want to address it. In Jess’ case I believe it was something to do with that she didn’t want to be her past and she wanted to reach a new audience
This would explain why J perm has uploaded more infrequently while short at is still uploads regularly. In shortcat’s most recent video, he says that he’s been practicing more so that explains the 2 months since the last J perm video. He’s started to grow out of cubing and is growing into Mario kart. What I think is that J perm knows his time as a cyber may be winding down so he made a channel on another subject he likes, Mario kart. He might announce his retire from J perm and announce he’s been short at as a secret mystery that he has laid clues for us to find. Like a theory, A GAME THEORY.

I was very glad to see that I'm not crazy. also makes sense why he hasn't been uploading much on Jperm.

I think it's probably to see if he could make another youtube channel from scratch using the knowledge hes picked up from his other channel just as like an experiment for himself so he doesn't try to allude to the other channel so its not the first thought for a lot of people

it’s likely that he just wants to peruse mario kart content and having the two fanbases overlap can hurt his smaller channel since the content isn’t catered to what they’d normally watch, essentially just making them subscribers who don’t engage which = no good for the algorithm

Idk, grinding out intense and sweaty Mario kart races with all that speed tech is a worthy watch, even if there was no commentary, editing, or jokes. Mrbeast is disingenuous, selling content that he doesn't personally enjoy, but Shortcat doesn't even make himself out to be more than just a normal MK8 nerd that really likes the game so I dunno what the problem is.
