I’ve owned one for a couple of years,I’m a born again biker,so I really like the retro look,I only use it for occasional riding, but I can’t think of anything I don’t like.
It's aimed at a wide market from newer riders wanting the middle size cc bikes and then the older generation of riders that like the looks of this bike. I think they've done a really good job on it.
Thank you, I had an MT07 as my first bike, i sold that last year and got a street triple r. I loved the Street triple but honestly....it was just too easy to ride and quite boring, sounds daft right? For me...the MT07 had so much more character and you could work up the gears more. I've now had to sell my Striple due to finances, really gutted, but i'm hoping in the future i can think of getting the XSR 700. I love the anniversary yellow one and i like the retro looking motorcycles. Thanks again.
I own the same bike. Just a heads up as the one in the video has the street pack which includes some extras: flat seat, rear light, knee pads, windscreen and headlight grill. I'm the same height as you and I feel like I'm sliding forward on the stock seat so I'll probably upgrade for the flat one.
Cheers for the heads up mate, sometimes dealers add little bits but don’t let me know and I don’t catch it for the video. Always helpful when people like yourself notice these bits and point them out for others to learn from. Defo try the other seat mate.
haha, I do mate, when im on the early shift I am up at 0300 an start work at 0400, I release my videos this early so people (mainly UK) can watch it before they go to work :P
@mart7798 I wouldn’t say super fun, but I lot better than Zoe’s mt07. I’d own this over that any day. Gave me that full rounded ride if that makes sense 🤷🏻♂️😁
I weigh around 254 kilos. And I'm 6'2 ". That's why I say, it's either the tracer or the mt10. I'm not particularly looking to go real fast, but I do want a bike that fits me and has the power when I want it 😊
I owned the MT10 and loved it, never felt too big for it. I also really like the tracer 9 GT +, right not id go for the + as it suits me better for the type of riding im doing. But if its the engine you are looking for then you can't go wrong with the MT10 :P
Finally a bike reviewer who seems like a real-life ordinary person! Great video, useful information without all the unnecessary waffling about specs.
Haha thanks mate. Glad you liked the video.
Turns out I am just an ordinary guy 😁🤙

Got mine in July, love it so much since it was my dream bike. Before I had a 2019 CB300R and XSR fits me better for sure. I have everything stock.
Good choice! Enjoy your XSR mate. 🤙🤙
I bought mine 3 days ago, and can't stop riding it. I fucking love it, so much fun. Cheers my XSR brother.
@user-xm4vm2nk5d
I bought mine today and will receive the registration plate next week, so I will be able to drive it in one week. 🤩

XSR, perfect choice for the future mate.

thebike looks stunning in this black edition!
Sure does mate. 🤙
Would you think the LCD screen location be in the way for a windscreen?
potentially, obviously it has a small screen on it already so maybe someone can make one similar just taller and more usable?
Lol, you get up pretty early Matt. I've got to get to bed. 1:20 am here.

That’s a nice looking bike 👍
Sure is mate.
I am 179cm , would it fit me ok ?
Yeah you should be fine mate, im 186cm for reference.
It looks a lot better to me. Fast enough, too. Light. Nick
Im glad you agree with me then, this wins over the MT07 :)
i like the xsr style much better.
Agreed. The retro styling is on point. 🤙
@@DSR1YT Plus the seat is higher, better ergos for us geezers with bad backs.
I want it I want it
Kid in a candy store 🤣🤙
like the retro looks, but i cant lie,it just doesnt hold my interest.sorry!
Don’t be sorry mate, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things aye :).
@@DSR1YT the review was good as usual though mate.did you find it an interesting and super fun time bike?

max weight for this bike is 186 kg.
254kg or pounds?
I assumed he meant pounds. Cause that’s a hell of a lot of Kgs 🤣
Ay caramba,😂😂😂.
That thing needs a better muffler on it. Open it up a bit. It sounds like a sewing machine.
