A breathtaking version of One by Tuva Syvertsen at the Polar Music Prize

- Metallica and The Afghanistan National Institute of Music (ANIM) received the Polar Music Prize 2018 at a ceremony at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm in June 2018. Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo from Metallica attended the event, as well as Dr Ahmad Sarmast, the founder of ANIM.
Several artists honoured the Laureates during the evening; Aryana Sayeed, Loreen, Ghost, Candlemass, Vargas & Lagola, Moneybrother with Seek & Destroy, Dennis Lyxzén, Mikkey Dee, Lone dear and Tuva Syvertsen. Host of the evening was Swedish mezzo-soprano and journalist Boel Adler.
The Polar Music Prize band, conducted by Svante Henryson were:

Almost everyone is accustomed to the original and will not allow any other way of it being played. I ,myself, enjoy different cultures of musicians playing their hearts out to their version of the song IN FRONT OF THE BAND WHO WROTE THE SONG. And, the beatboxer was a very nice touch. It would be a very huge honor for musicians around the world to play in front of their main influential and favorite band.
I don’t know. I’ve heard this covered many ways and it always hits hard.

I can see why James didn't attend this ceremony. Nice performances but this fancy royalty bullshit is the total opposite of everything James stands for as the most rebellious frontman of all time. He doesn't belong here...

Most of these versions from the Polar Music Prize are ok...the 2 constants across all the covers, that I don't like would be 1... messing up the lyrics and 2....the clown who's up there beat boxing....just...no.Totally takes me out of the song.
