Hey Jeff, Wonderful video as per usual. The stand for the engine looks a lot like a Consulab stand. Consulab is a company that makes mock up training aids for the automotive industry in case people are not aware. Thanks for sharing. Dirk
Ahhhh..... the good old mechanical throttle....I miss that. Honda tech for 26 years now, my how much things have changed. I love that processor, much more sophisticated than my Hakki Pilke 1x37 Easy. Great work Jeff
I liked the Hakki Pilke when I was shopping, but the dealer here was impossible to work with. So if I had trouble spending $60k, I wonder what future service would have looked like?
@@thelogfather5002 I get it. I bought it used, 2 years old, mounted on a trailer, with the 24hp Honda pto unit..... bought it for a song. The guy needed to liquidate (divorce deal)
Hi Jeff Nice that you are getting all the known stuff fixed and regular maintenance ! Tell me if it's as bad as it looks as a job of cleaning up under the loading deck ???? Wow is it even a beautiful green everywhere that the camera scanned on your yard ! You hardly need to go on a holiday with a yard like yours....just open the endgate of your truck and make coffee !!!!😊
I know this machine fairly well now. It built well- a little bit finicky but I blame the climate- It’s worse than it looks cleaning under the live deck- I’ve done it a few times but not I just move enough debris to not hang the logs up! It’s a beautiful part of the world we live in for sure. Thanks for watching Ken, all the best. Jeff
Do you find more people are wanting the smaller split firewood? The wood coming off your processor is really nice but would be too small for many of my customers. I like the smaller splits myself.
I try to ask new customers what they prefer- finer or coarser split. Most folks ask for a mixture, but on the smaller side. I have a few folks who want it way coarser than I’d like and some who like it finer.
Hi Jeff!!😀😀 I agree with you that your processor is the fastest for its size. I really like it but I don't believe they are available down here in our area. The engine runs really nice with the new injector pump. Built in governor is the way to go. Take care my friend!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al
The old electric governor worked great and if the pump hadn’t leaked I’d still be running it. But this new pump is way smoother and hold the rpm steadier. It was a Christmas gift from a good friend who rebuilt all my injectors and pumps when I was in the mechanical business. I have great friends!

I’ve probably worked with one of the Consulab engine mockup over the years I’m a training course.
For the life of me I can not figure out why watching a firewood processor is so mesmerizing to me 😎👍
It’s fun to operate too!
😂
I actually did a video on how firewood people are just good people. I picked up my Eastonmade Ultra at the expo. Joe is awesome.
The firewood poles inventory pile is effective as an advertising sign along the road.
I live on a dead end street- not a lot of use for a sign. The 6 houses past mine already know what I do! 😂
Great machine. Neat how the log stopper moves ahead to allow the round fall easier. Never seen that on any other machine.
They all have to do that, even my old Range Road moves the stop- it eliminates the pinch point on the bar. It’ll make a lot of sawdust in a day!
Ahhhhh, thanks for the information. 👍🏻👍🏻
Always good videos,
Thanks again!
I would love to stop by and chat when I see you working up wood.
You’d be welcome to!
It's as easy as having a chat with your dentist 😂Chatting and working simultaneously are not really compatible...
Bungy cord powered log splitter?
😂 I was wondering about that bungee as well...

Good to see you back in the saddle again.
Did your inventory pile of firewood logs get replenished while you were on the road?
Yup! Back to full inventory again. I have a great supplier.

I wondered if the bugs ever bothered you.
They haven’t been bad this year.
30 centimeters, one foot.
If only you could stockpile the firewood you cut this time of year...
Couldn't you ask at least a third more for "seasoned, ready to burn" firewood?
A third more wouldn’t let me make as much money as I make now. I’d need twice as much at least.
