      @@raiden2782 yep, at the very least a very experienced armature, but buddy knows what he is doing. I was surprised when Salt was swinging for the fences buddy didn't teach him a lesson. Usually when kids try to knockout experienced fighters the experience fighter then humbles him (aka checks him) immediately. This guy had way too much patience. I was like 4 years old and I tried to squeeze pepino cuevas hand when he shook my hand because I thought I was tough and he almost broke my damn hand. He taught me a lesson. Respect the sport and hierarchy.

    10 years boxing and I can tell you Salt Papi has been trained. Also white gloves. No doubt about it. Nobody naturally has the feet movement + little things like using his lead hand as a distraction

      @@andrewphendee Boxing with an opponent is not really one of them things, that’s something that’s well understood and acknowledged by all in the sport. I don’t mean people who train here and there. Coaches and actual fighters. You can’t self teach and be good. Looking okay on a bag, sure.

      @@firewithfinesse7036 I agree that he's probably have had training something somewhere before but regardless I believe that some people have a born talent for it and if exposed to those things will visually learn faster than others. and in his case i think that's what happened. Also i get your point with the hand trapping and stuff but even if he had an uncle that would point that out to him when they would watch a match or something, it goes a longer way than you think. I personally have learn a lot from watching muay thai videos at a very young age so when I started, even with no training I understood and was ahead of my peers!

      @@account-pb2df That is raw talent, I could practice dancing and get good at it but my movements would not be as fluid as his are. Some folks just have natural ability. Steph curry can work on his jumping ability all he wants but he’s never going to attempt to block Lebron going for a dunk.

      Dude definitely was training. Nobody just puts gloves on and starts boxing like this. He’s throwing correct punches, setting traps and timing is on point. He’s definitely talented but he also has a decent amount of training.

    Used to do the same thing, street boxing..I miss those days being outside..doing it thru sunset, sometimes in evening under street lights..we always used proper head gear, gloves, mouthpieces ect and always emphasized technique and good form above all else... have respect, use the right gear and have a blast..! Nothing like being outside and having some good sparring!

    For those who don't know, white gloves was going 10% while salt was going 80-90%, and white gloves was still landing at will. Way more levels ahead, so much so that he was able to light spare like a feather, while semi dominating an overly aggressive all out salt boi. I just wish he went harder on his ass. Not hating i just wanted to see what would happened

    In my early 20s me and my mates used to spar each other just like this but without the head guards. My best mate broke my nose the wanker. But it wasn't a bad break we carried on boxing but he beat me up a little. It just makes you stronger though. I miss the old days. I'm 38 now don't time fly when your having fun. We should of wore the head guards really but we use to fight on grass not on the concrete.

    I use to box and I can tell you this guy has been trained u can tell by his stance and how he counter their punches its easy to box someone who doesn't know what they are doing but u get someone with the same amount of skills and it's a different story but round of applause to u for boxing people who don't know what they are doing good job

    I was surprised and I can’t lie I really didn’t think I was gonna see anything spectacular but then I was wrong, he has good timing not the best but for the opponents he was against it worked good for him I haven’t seen any of his recent training footage but from here I can see the only thing he needs to work on is visual cues so his opponent doesn’t just rush into him like that when they rush in creating space and maintaining a jab or a step-back left hook would be best along with sharpening up some of his combos not that there bad it’s just he’s not getting the most out of it there were some shots that I thought for sure would have just flattened some of his opponents and there were a couple good ones but one thing that will change that is isometrics and building speed his punches are fast but not what they could be and doing isometrics is something that I fell in love with very quickly when I started martial arts, there’s only so much power you can truly add to yourself from training to your punches etc but doing that puts you on that barrier there’s too many benefits that I could go on forever.

    The problem with open ground fighting ( no ring) is that invariably one fighter or other constantly backs off and goes "on the run" so to speak,it suits a fighter who lives on his jab and can't fight close range .
    In these flights I'd insist on it being an "all in" meaning grappling etc.

    when i do head movement i always have my hands up unless i’m throwing punches. even if it’s just one hand up top and one below i always got one up. seems like close to none of the guys fighting salt could combine those two.
