Nice comparisons, Ed. I may have missed part 1. I'll check. Good ol' youtube doesn't send me many notifications lately. I've used AGCO filters, but I might change that. I want to watch part 1 first. Thanks for sharing. - Rick
Especially that AGCO 722 model filter. I can't see any reason to ever purchase that over the Wix or Bosch. The one thing I will be doing every time now though is cutting open every filter after use to make sure I'm still getting the same quality product. One thing I've learned is that a product built well today doesn't mean it's going to always be that way when a suit decides to cut corners for profit one day in the future.
@@Redneck_Ed OOOO, I haven't seen a hydraulic oil test ever. That should be awesome. IIRC hydraulic fluid is really similar to ATF, lots of detergents. Could be wrong though. So will these be similar to oil tests? Great content.
How's she goin'? This has been a good review Ed!! Thanks for doing it. I have used the Agco filters most of the time but lately I have used the WIX. But now I'm a bit nervous of it. Maybe the Bosch next time. Thanks again and take acre!!
I think the Wix would be fine even those it has less filtering media. I can't imagine that these small engines are putting out so much flow that the Wix and old AGCO can't handle it. Bypass PSI would be the only thing that might concern me a little bit on the Wix but only if running a lot in the cold with no heater. With the block heater, I wouldn't think the bypass is ever going to come into play.
Yeah, really small difference between those two. Even though the Bosch is also inexpensive and has more filtering media, I'm not sure these small engines even need the extra.
I will likely buy the filter from my MF dealer, so whatever they recommend. Oil? Maybe not. There are some really good full synthetic diesel engine oils out there. Hydraulic fluid? What they recommend. Hydraulic fluid seems to be a crap shoot since there are not the same level of specifications as for engine oil.

The gold XG Frams are great from what ive seen.
I'm kinda kicking self for not buying one but I had to draw the line somewhere and save funds for the upcoming hydraulic oil testing.

@@Redneck_Ed That'sa good point too. Thanks for that!!
Im sticking with wix. The difference in the agco and the wix is practically nothing. Good video Ed.
