I've been wanting to make some clay gears for crafting mixed media stuff with (if I ever get back to doing that, heh), and this tutorial popped up on my suggestions list under molding with clay. Thanks for the tutorial, sis!! I wonder how well the air dry clay is going to work with it. Only one way to find out, huh? 😊😊
Great video. I have a few Mold Muse molds. I tryed air dry clay and it really did distort when I popped them out. Have you ever used air dry clay?
How did you make that gloss glaze's color like this? Mine isn't translucent like that.. did you add like.. water in it and mixed it?
Thank you, thank you for this tutorial!! I'm on my way to trying something new! lol TFS :)

Can you use these molds for porcelain?
What glue would you recommend for gluing clay flowers to a pendant?
Oh these are soooo CUTE!!!!! TFS :) Hugs, T
Those are So cute! Does the clay come in the different colors or do you paint them that way? Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to check out your etsy! Good luck with it!
craftymommies Come in all kinds of colors.
Thanks for sharing with everyone.. :-)
Hi,are they fragile?
I would like to make porcelain flowers with the small molds like you have, I was told that Sculpey liquid clay is the same thing as liquid porcelain, is this true or do you know? I also would like to paint these flowers before I mold them, could I use water color paints or do I use acrylics that are oil based? I enjoyed your tutorial, it was very helpful and answered some questions I had.
Thank You,
Deborah

Nice video 👌👌👌👌
Gr8 tips, was searching for idea's and found your channel.. So right about hard to find the right angle to video. I do hope you response to your comment's.. Question, is it light or heavy when done? TFS
ThriftyCrafterMale They are fairly light with the small ones, bigger ones are, imho, a little heavy for card making, but that is just my opinion. I know people do ones the size of her pink or red one onto cards, but I haven't had luck with that. If you go on Pinterest, they tons of clay tutorials. Can search for ideas.
@aliCscrap Well I went to JoAnn's and Michael's... seems like J's has slightly cheaper prices on the FIMO brand, but M's has more choices/varieties. Also, bummer, the etsy shop you got your molds from is closed for a family emergency :( I got some from a couple other etsy shops though... can't wait to try it out!
And where did you buy the pink one that you make flower
Marjorie Flores mold muse online.
hi. how long do you need to bake sculpey III using that moulds from mold muse? does it still have to be 15 mins? :)
honimansi I do not bake them in the mold!! Careful, there! 😲
How do they harden? Do you bake them?
They dry, and become rock hard.
Hi Kat... I am hoping you can tell me where you bought your clay... I'm going to get some tomorrow and it'd be great to not have to run all over town! Thanks!
aliCscrap Michaels craft store, JoAnn's, A.C. Moore. Google it.
Where do you get the molds? Thanks
Where did you buy the fimo soft
Marjorie Flores Michaels craft store should have it, or Google it.
How long keeping clay in a mold.?
Hey could you reply
If you would be selling moulds
And also do u customise ?
Can I mix colors with the sculpey clay to make custom colors ?
Scott Preston Sure!
Scott Preston oh, wait, I meant you can mix clay colors to make custom colors, not food coloring or something! You have to practice to get shades you want. You buy soft covered clay books that show how to vary shades and such, or, can probably Google it.
ho can you make a hole from side to side for a necklace?
Can I use resin in these molds
Nice
I actually purchased the same molds for a dollar 50 on ebay.
Interesting, I'd on,y seen them baked in the mold which is far more time consuming with only one mold!
روووووووعة
Can I use play dough?
can I put a hole in it or drill it ? to make a bead or pendant?
Scott Preston I have not drilled baked clay. What I do is make a hole before baking. I bought these cocktail toothpicks that have a roung flat head. Makes a cleaner hole. I don't see why you couldn't drill it with your dremel. Wear safety glasses, and a surgical mask.
how do you make the mold?
JennaKo1101 You buy them. You can make molds from baked clay.
You can make a mold mixing silicone from hardware stores and cornstarch.
There are DYI on the subject on UA-cam.
You can buy your silicone molds. They are much better than the homemade ones.
It's a palette knife. Used for mixing paints.
