- Bad Girl is a 23-year-old assassin who lives in the basement of Destroy Stadium; her real name as well as her nationality are unknown, although she is presumably American. She is ranked 2nd in the UAA. She drinks frequently, dresses in a style similar to that of the Sweet Lolita fashion (which directly contrasts with her murderous personality) and bludgeons cloned men dressed in S&M gear with a baseball bat. After listening about how she feels no remorse whatsoever about killing (claiming it to just be a job), Travis takes an immediate disliking to her, saying that she is not a true assassin, but a "perverted killer". In retaliation, she claims that Travis is no better than her because although she resorts to more cruel methods to killing, they both are assassins and kill who they must all the same. She attacks Travis with her baseball bat, as well as using her bat to hit gimps with enough force to turn them into living projectiles.
After their fight, she stands with Travis' beam katana sticking through her abdomen, refusing to give up. She continues to brutally assault Travis until he succumbs to the torture and forfeits the fight in order to make her stop her assault; she succumbs to her wounds soon afterward, making Travis 2nd rank regardless of his forfeiture.
If Bad Girl starts crying, don't approach her immediately, as it could be bait. Watch her posture first. If she has a hand on her bat, she's faking it. If she doesn't, it's for real, and you should give her something to cry about. Approaching her while she's fake crying will cause her to kill Travis instantly.
Ironically, died during her crocodile tears. Got her the second time, and BOI was it satisfying after I got the signal down!
Yeah, I got killed by Bad Girl because of this move. To be honest, I thought it was a simple special attack that would cost me a good chunk of health.
I was certainly surprised when it was an instant death!
If she starts crying stay fifty feet away and don't move because if you move an inch closer this triggers it
I always thought Bad Girl was Dr. Peace's estranged daughter. The one he mentioned in his conversation with Travis, and that he took her out to dinner once but found that they couldn't connect and were too different or something like that. That would explain why she's drinking so much and in such a surly mood when you fight her (did just lose her father), and why she chose to fight in the baseball stadium, place where he died.
This one didn't age too well. Though that's actually a really good theory
@@plopperson It's real cool, kinda wish Bad Girl never got a backstory. She was more of a represantation of how the '2nd ranked fighter' would be. Hopeless, tired, angry and just sad. She finds no reason on how many she kills at this point, Travis has first seen it'd be cool to be this number 1 dude but now he realizes how fucked up even killing one person is. Bad girl is a great character to show how actually fucked up this whole system is, instead of what Travis originally thought with badass ideas. A dark truth in some sorts.
This could be a stretch, but maybe he could be Kimmy Howell's dad, in the final cutsene with dr. Peace he says "I better practice my rap" and in nmh3 Kimmy becomes a singer and raps.
Edit: nvm, I just remembered his daughter was called Jennifer.
@@K7NMHSF03DarkStarPhantom03 More importantly, Dr. Peace's daughter clearly hated him for being a gangster and assassin, while I somehow doubt Bad Girl would be bothered by it, especially since she's killed far more people than Dr. Peace despite a far shorter career as a killer.

Tip on defeating Bad Girl: She Has 2 Crying animations. The first one is is her covering her eyes with 2 hands, meaning she isn't going to do her insta-kill, But the 2nd one has her covering her face with her arm, meaning she will do her insta-kill if you get too close to her. Hope this tip helped!
Not a good idea to take that risk. They look similar enough that you can get caught by her instant-kill if you judge it wrong.
The way i remember is if you hear her sobbing, she'll kill you. If you cant, shes free game.
I wouldnt suggest trying that straight away though, it has been a few years since i last beat the game. So wait till she does it, listen for crying and if she mutters "Shit" to herself, she has failed her OHK attack, if she goes down, and gets up without saying shit, you know know when to do it.
(Looking at GameFAQ's, one user says that if her hand is not on her bat you can attack her)
Just a Thought there is another way. No matter wich case it is, just keep waiting unitl you hear "fuck this", then, you can do a full charged attack.

The UAA and ranks were all bullshit that Travis ate up. These ten ranks were probably lists of people in ascending strength who either fought anybody they saw, were allied with Sylvia and Henry (which is unlikely given that they die at the end of this agreement), or people that caused Henry and Sylvia problems. Why not send a moron who's extremely powerful to kill people who cause us problems? That's a smart plan, right? And in the end, he can't complain because it also helped him out in the long run. And if these ranks were real, she would have had to kill them first, and considering that there was no jump-to-the-top, these ranks must have been established long before or she must have been an original, and she really just doesn't look that old. Death Metal maybe, but he's rank 10. The minimum. The fact that he has so much money and he's so old and didn't die until Travis killed him really raised my eyebrows to the whole system at first, given that he's essentially the "entry-level" to the ranks.

First off, some of the people Travis fight identify themselves as ranked themselves. This implies Silvia just called them up ahead of time and said "Here's a load of money. Do what you want with it, oh and this idiot is going to come by soon so when you see him, can you act like you're ranked? Thanks bye!" Considering Doctor Peace was indeed introduced as having spent Travis' entry fee (or most of it anyway) this lends more credence to how Silvia could have an organization show up out of nowhere to fool Travis. Second, Death Metal was never the Entry rank, that was Rank 11 with Helter Skelter. (Remember, the guy from the cutscene, whose brother is your first boss in the sequel?) Still, in the end it still makes sense for Silvia to have "ranked" these people in terms of difficulty... After all, that means she can hire the lower ranked ones for cheaper (while still gouging Travis) and work her way up, so it's less likely Travis will die so easily and she'll lose valuable profit.

The music in this game really did the trick of immersing.
That fight was so immersive. I had no idea what to expect from a drunken lolita armed with a baseball bat XD Also that song is pure genius. A very enjoyable boss fight, and I'm really sad she dies, her character could have been developped more! (I mean sure, they did an epic job making it clear on who she was just from that short intro, but I'd love to learn more about her past. And maybe confirm or infirm if she is Dr. Peace's daughter, Jennifer :P)

The only assassin to ever force travis into defeat- even though that might have been only because he couldn't kill girls. Bravo XD
He killed Speedbuster before this and did manage to kill Bad Girl as she died from blood loss.
Her theme contrasts her perfectly, though.
The name, style, and atmosphere provided from the theme is VERY fitting.

I just beat NMH:Paradise and in this battle I think the "real" crying was removed. On the Wii version you could identify when she was going to insta-kill you if she had one hand on the bat and if not you were safe to attack. In PS3 port she always cries while holding her bat so it's never safe to attack.
I have to his on PS3 as well and the real crying does happen. You're probably just really unlucky and always got her fake crying every time.

Unless these assassins just defeated each other and changed ranks like a tennis ladder... But they are assassins. Also take into consideration the UAA was a con up to the point of NMH1 so it may not even have a legit system or that many people to be conned though it

It seems like by the time Travis fights Bad Girl he's let go of some of his chivalry, although to me it's more like he gave up out of pity seeing as she was already bleeding out from impalement. That and she's fucking crazy, no point in holding back against someone like her, right?

Considering how Dr. Peace's final words are "I know the next song I sing will make my family happy" which is him saying his family will be happy that he is now dead, I wouldn't imagine Bad Girl being in a bad mood over the loss of a father that she barely even knew, just some thought.

Yesterday at Universal, I waited in the single rider line for Hagrid's for 2 fuckin hours and the wait was agonizing, so when I got off the ride, I bought a beer, chugged it, crushed the can in my hand, slammed the back of my hand against the wall, said "damn, that's smooth", violently threw the can in the trash, and said "I feel alive again". I literally turned into Bad Girl for a few seconds

Considering that the only way to move up the ranks is to kill the one above you, I think Bad Girl simply established herself in the UAA before Speed Buster.
Matt Shinde Travis moved up without killing Shinobu so I guess your suggestion is reasonable.
Besides, Speed Buster takes forever to build and fire her canon.... In that time, Bad Girl would just bat exploding gimps at her.

I think it could go either way cus I know before the fight he seemed to be rather disgusted with her occupation. I guess you can say he snapped out of his faze considering he had no problem killing jeane- or at least didn't hold back but nor did he bother to try pulling his beam katana out or slicing it from her body- he just endured her beatings and even forfeit- something you'd never see him do again.

That makes sense, certain ranked assassins are tougher then the ones 1 above them. I think it depends on how often they kill. Basically your rank would depend on your kill count or maybe killing high ranked people like mayors, governs and presidents.
